She took off half of my eye brow and left the other too long. Wouldn’t let me hold the mirror to see it. Kept pulling it away while holding it up facing down where I couldn’t see my self. The people in line waiting on me took one look at me and walked out the door. If you’re thinking about going there.. don’t do it.

Will not be back due to rude employee. Waited over 30 minutes (which was fine) only to be skipped because I was given the wrong sheet to sign in to. This was after the employee WATCHED ME SIGN in on that sheet not once, but twice (for my mom also). And even asked me if I forgot to sign jn. Then the employee argued and was rude. After the way she acted and the work I had already seen her do on 2 people before me, I was too uncomfortable to let her touch my brows. The girl was shorter and heavy set with black hair that may have been a wig. The other lady that was there, possibly named Kellie? Was sweet and did good work, but I just wanted to leave after that experience.

Got my eyebrows waxed and tinted. I showed a picture of how I like my brows for reference, I don’t even think she looked at it. I get that they are a walk in service but it shouldn’t have went as fast as it did, the lady messed my eyebrows up so bad. I’m honestly embarrassed to even be seen. I wish I would’ve realized how bad and uneven they were before I left, I wouldn’t have paid. Terrible place to go to, do not recommend.

We have come to this brow bar for a while for my daughter to just get her brows waxed. We walked in today at 6:45 (posted store hours say closes at 7:00). There were 2 workers there and one customer in a chair. They refused our 3 minute brow wax because it was 15 minutes until 7:00. Unreal! We will not be back.

I went here because my usual lady was out of town and holy cow that was a mistake. There is literally nothing different around my brows. They’re more expensive and didn’t do anything to my brows. I have to now go get mine redone elsewhere

I got my eyebrows waxed and although it is my first experience at this place, it is not the first time Ive had them waxed. My eyebrows look good, all she had to do is clean them up so it wasnt difficult but the reason I am not satisfied is because it took her less than 10 minutes to do. Normally you would think that is a good thing but every time I have gotten my eyebrows waxed, they apply the wax, the strip, and wait atleast 15 seconds before ripping it off, not 2 seconds. As if she was in a hurry. I didnt think anything of it while it was being done. But here it is the next day and my eyebrows still burn as if I had just had it done, they are still red, and I have a scratch/cut from their services. I really wish I did not give her the 10 dollar tip.

I visited Bonita Brow Bar in JC mall for the first time today to get my brows threaded. The lady working was not friendly at all. Very hateful. When she finished my brows my left brow was alot thinner than the right so i was not satisfied with how they looked either. I will never go back!

I go to Bonita brow bar to get my eyebrows threaded and every time I have been amazed with the results. They do a great job and I would recommend this to anyone. The price is very affordable and everyone working is so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be continuing to go to this place.

Love this place! Workers are nice and down to earth, affordable prices, and I’ve never been disappointed with the service. I’ve gotten my eyebrows both threaded and waxed, and recently got an eyelash lift and tint, too. They have a numbing serum to help with pain, so even my boyfriend will get cleaned up here!!

I have gone plenty of times before and always had an issue with one blond lady there but just dealt with it before. I went today planning on getting a wax and tint. The lady as soon as I walked in asked if I was younger than 18 and I replied yes, she told me that I couldnt get what I wanted done without parents permission. I then told her that I have done this many times before and she rudely sighed and slightly rolled her eyes and told me to sign the sheet anyway. She then told me to go sit down in the first seat and to wait. She cleaned the makeup off my brows and asked when the last time I got them tinted was. I told her about a month or 2 ago and she said she wouldnt do it again. I told her thats what I wanted to have done and she said Im only going to wax today. I felt very awkward and belittled the entire time, I thought the customer was always right?? Anyway this was the last straw for me and I will not be going back and never mention this place to anyone who wants to experience good customer service.

Honestly the most unprofessional business I’ve ever walked into. I understand these times are crazy but the blonde younger girl that works here is so incredibly rude and acted like a child. I should have known better to let them wax my brows. All I asked for was for her to clean them up and literally one is extremely smaller than the other one. I don’t understand how this person has their license but I’m definitely going to be reporting them as I’ve been in the beauty industry for years. Pathetic.

I got my eyebrows threaded and asked for a small touch up and I am left with hardly any eyebrows after 30 minutes of plucking! Terrible do not go if you like your eyebrows.

My son and I went to have some waxing I needed my under arms done and my son wanted his nose done I was told that the underarms are not done on Saturday when but the previous Saturday they did it but for some reason this one was different so I said ok he went and got his eyebrows threaded then Kellie the manager came back from a break and said she would go ahead and do my underarms but told me there would probably only be enough for my underarms not his nose, I said ok she did mine and when we were done and about to leave I asked if there was enough to do his nose like he wanted she got all mad and said “are you freaking kidding me right now” stormed off and went to look and said “I doubt It you all have used all of my wax”! I was so mad and embarrassed since there was another employee and customer in there when she did this there is no reason to be treated like that over a simple question she embarrassed me and my son! I have spent a lot of money at this place this is not the first time she has given an attitude over something it’s very unprofessional I don’t believe I will be back I will find some place that wants my money that will not disrespect me!

I barely have any eyelashes, and now I feel like a brand new woman!! Neva is by far the best, she made me feel so comfortable, the environment was great, and all together just a great experience. I would give this store a 10 out of 10 for sure!! My lashes are so comfortable and I truly am in love with them. AND they can last up to 3 weeks????? Best thing ever!!! For everyone asking questions about eyelash extensions, I highly recommend getting them! The prices are great too! You cant beat them!The people there were so nice, I felt welcomed, and I will definitely be returning to have more services!!

This was my second time coming here. Came in at 8PM and put my name on the list for brow waxing. Lady waited til I had waited there for 45 minutes and was about to close to tell me Oh Im sorry, Im not going to be able to wax your eyebrows tonight, I didnt realize that clock was wrong Not like I had already waited there for 45 minutes AND the woman in front of me asked for a brow tint even though she didnt even write it on the paper. Incredibly inconsiderate of my time. I will NOT be returning.

Best place to go to for threading or waxing hands down. Very experienced and knowledgable staff that know exactly what they’re doing. They are very nice and welcoming and create and very relaxed atmosphere. I switched to threading recently but wasn’t too sure about it because threading is slightly painful for me due to my thick eyebrow hair but the ladies make it so much easier and always make sure that I’m okay and do their job perfectly. I get them threaded every two to three weeks now since they do such a fantastic job. After a year of going to Bonita I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an amazing go-to place for hair removal!

I normally have no issues when I go in other than my brows being slightly uneven or too thin; however, today was an exception. I signed in and waited outside under their latest guidelines. I waited almost 20 minutes before I noticed that both of the ladies working had left with no notice or warning. I passed them walking outside as I was walking back to my car to leave the mall. I will not be returning at this time.

This is my go-to salon when Im in need of a brow wax. I love Kellie, and she is amazing at her job! Ive never left disappointed. It took me awhile to find a spa that I was completely satisfied with. Now that I have found Kellie at Bonita Brow Bar, I wont be going anywhere else. I recommend to everyone in the Johnson City area.

If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Worst possible place for eyebrow threading. I left with half of my eyebrow cut off on one side and the other thick as can be. Eyebrow tint wasn’t even put on in a straight line and was all over my skin. I have cuts all over my eyelids. 2 days later and my eyes are still burning. Never again.

They were super nice,welcoming, and worked quickly. I definitely recommend them over benefit brow bar in the jc mall(as they are 23 dollars or so for one person while it only cost me 14 to get mine threaded and shaped.

My daughter and I are very disappointed with our recent experience here. I had lash extensions for the first time and loved them, they looked amazing! Came back for my first fill in and it looks horrible, my lashes are not even, one eye literally still has old clumps of glue with clusters going in different directions and one cluster is literally hanging off of my eye lid. So, its ok, anyone can have a bad day. I thought, they have a 3 day policy, if you arent happy and come back in within 3 days they will fix them for free. Well, unfortunately this policy does not apply for fill ins, they charge per each cluster that needs to be redone. If you perform a beauty service and its less than satisfactory to your client then should you fix the problem at no additional charge. The staff are nice as can be and I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience, however, they lost 2 great paying/ tipping customers today.

Have been to bonita many times with good results. But the last time, I waited for 45 minutes sitting in the spa. They let 3 people who had signed their name, leave to walk around and then come back go ahead of me even though i patiently waited IN THE SPA. I was then treated quite rudely when I asked if I could just be seen since I seemed to be overlooked. I have not been back and do not recommend anyone to go here if they want to be treated with respect.

So today I called because I had a few questions on the eye brow tint like how it works, when the lady answer the phone she hung up then I called back she didn’t answer so I waited about ten minutes cause I thought the lady might have a clients. So then she answer the phone and asked what I wanted she was very hatful all around she goes all they do is dye the hair you already have a hung up once again like I’m tying to pay you I just have two questions she was so rude toward me.

I love Jazmine! She was wonderful. This was the first time Ive ever went to someone else to do my eyebrows (I got them threaded), and Im very happy with the outcome!

Very disappointed with our recent interaction with this place when it comes to there eyelash extensions. They left glue on our eyelids and droped a cluster of lashes with glue in my hair and on my face. Misplaced eyelashes in the wrong direction and i am sad to say we wont be coming back. They do an amazing job on eyebrows though.

Garbage is the only way to describe this. My wife got fake eyelashes, within 24 hours (mind you all protocol was followed) a couple had fallen out. We drove back the 1 hour to fixed in the mandatory 48 hours to be told by the associate that no one who does them will be there for the rest of the day. So their mandatory 48 hours is irrelevant. Now, and continuay, they are falling out AND taking her real lashes with them. No, not pulled, falling. Subpar to say the least and would NOT recommend having this service done at this establishment.

I asked and wrote for threading and she waxed me. ??? Not only waxed but ripped my skin off. I didnt complain bc i didnt want to hurt her feelings. Ive beeb getting my eyebrows threaded for 6 years. I used to drive 2 hrs just to get them done (my eyebrows have always been on fleek 👌👌) i hate to say this and sound racist but i dont trust anyone who isnt indian to thread my eyebrows! I say this bc those girls have been doing it all their life and they know what they are doing. I had a white guy with long hair thread mine a few years ago at this same place. Terrible!! Go to the eyebrow threading place across the mall!! She is wayyyyyyyyy better trust & believe!
