They were fast and effective. Nice men and they seem to enjoy what they do. Friendly with everyone and they had a staff member who speaks Spanish, a bonus for one customer I observed. Quick and helped me out in a pinch with a couple of screws in my tire they took care of.

These guys saved my bacon when I was stranded 100 miles from home with 2 flat tires. Super nice and the cost was way less than I had feared.Definitely check them out if you need help.

Couldnt fix the issue going on with my car but tried everything possible and was very helpful in suggesting where else to go.

Ive gotten tires from Larrys the past 4 or 5 times Ive needed a pair and have never had a problem until the most recent visit when I had found a lugnut that had been put back on my axle off thread with a power tool and had completely stripped the thread. I returned and explained the state that I had found the lugnut/thread in after having received work on that specific tire and after taking a quick look at the vehicle a replacement lugnut and thread were ordered, picked up, brought back, and then installed in 2 hours without any notice whatsoever there on the spot. The guys at Larrys had my back and turned a potential nightmare into a minor inconvenience. Thats exactly what I look for in a company as a customer and will continue to send all the business I can their way.

Showed up first thing this morning (only shop open before 8am) after blowing a tire last night. They got me in and out with a brand new tire in 40 mins. The customer service was EXCELLENT as they kindly got me squared away. Definitely appreciated there service.

Larrys Tire charged me on 4 different occasions to plug the same tire. When I questioned what the chances were that I had to plug the same tire 4 times, I was shown what they took out of the tire (they just so happened to have it at the register) and told they dont keep the streets as clean as they used to. After the 4th plug I stopped at another business to purchase a new tire, and was told there were no plugs in that tire. That was a total of a little over $40 for not one plug.

My first visit to Larrys was shortly after moving here. After a 9 hour trip, my trailer blew both tires. I looked up tire places on my phone, found Larrys & I left the fully loaded trailer on the side of the highway took 2 spare rims with me. The had the tires I needed & when I got there they were ready to install. No waiting (they knew my urgency). Great Price too!I just recently had my front end alignment done. In & out in 30 minutes, perfect job!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

A business should honor their word regardless of who the owner is. I have had my car serviced at Larry’s many times and have never had a complaint against them. I have also felt that they were honest with me when so many car dealerships are dishonest, until today 12/7.2107.Today is the first time that I have been dissatisfied with the service that I received at Larry’s Tire. In Oct. 2016 I had brake pads, front and back and rear rotors put on my car, $454.49. I called and went into Larry’s Tire on 11/15 and told someone that I had worked with before at Larry’s that my brakes were squeaking and I didn’t understand why when they had just been put on a year ago. I was asked if they just squeaked in the mornings or when it was cold and I said no they squeaked all the time. To make this short…my breaks were checked, I was told they had a little dust on them, which was removed and that if my breaks continued to squeak to bring my car back ask for the same person and everything would be replaced at no charge. Well I called yesterday 12/6, set-up an apt for this morning at 8:00 am, asked at the service desk if they were aware of my situation, was told yes they had a note on my ticket to replace the front pads. I said I thought that all four pads would be replaced; they said no the note just said front pads. The person that I had dealt with before was not there but they said he was the one that put the note on the ticket. I said OK. My car is completed they said there wasn’t any more squeaking and the charge was $82.13. I said I was told that it wouldn’t be any charge. The person at the front desk basically said sorry that is not the way that it is that he had to pay the people that worked on the car. I stated again that this was not what I was told and I didn’t expect this charge. I stated that, If I had known this I would have waited until after the holidays to get this done. He said sorry he had never heard of someone being told that there would be no charge for the labor. I explained that I had no reason to lie about what I was told.I was very upset but I paid the bill and asked for the person that told me that there would be no charge to call me. The person called me and stated that they had made a mistake and thought that my car had been serviced in Oct 2017 (he had made a copy of my receipt that showed 2016) and that he was sorry that he gave me the wrong information. He also stated that if he was still in charge that he would honor his word. Because my pads are under warranty and were faulty Larry’s does not have to pay to replace my pads but I have to pay for the service to replace them. They are the ones that put the faulty pads on my car! This isn’t fair but you know I’m thankful for the service I have received in the past at Larry’s and pray that my situation is not the way that the new owner is going to treat customers that have been coming to Larry’s for years.Customer,Collie

I am so shocked to write like this. We did the oil change with this place on the way to drive back Miami, Fl. I went to change my oil again and the mechanic informed me they broke the oil filter casing which I have to replace it now. This is quite unacceptable. You pay the price they asked you pay and you expect the best possible service. Now when you know this is what happened this is highly unprofessional given they are so much rated in their reviews. I am so much disappointed. You should have the right tool when you take a job. My mechanic told me they stripped it somehow. No word to express how disappointed I am, even they did not inform me. If you do business with them you should be careful.

Larrys Tire is one of the few places that stand behind their work. I had a minor issue with a repair they did, and they fixed it without hesitation. More recently, I was quoted a price for a replacement water-pump and afterwards, they told me they had been able to install it for much less! They also have great prices on tires. An honest shop that has been there for years and hopefully will be there for many to come.

My experience was two phased. The evening of the visit and the next morning after the visit.The evening of the visit everyone was to willing to get four new tires on my vehicle and get me gone because it sure didnt take very long. In fact, I thought it quicker than Id expected.The following morning I woke up to flat tire right front tire. I phoned Larrys Tire Center telling them one of the new tires was flat. The speaker said I probably ran over a nail as some customers have done so in the past. That being my only transportation I ask about someone coming to collect the vehicle for tire repair. I was told to contact a car hauler that it shouldnt cost me very much. I said Im not paying for a car hauler. The speaker said they didnt have a car hauler. The speaker mentioned something about providing a car hauler but never did commit to doing so.I mentioned maybe giving the tires back at which point the speaker interrupted saying Youre not getting your money back! I didnt get to finish my sentence (and maybe purchase a better brand).Already upset about this new flat tire, I told him to keep his _ _ _ _ ing money.I eventually got the tire aired up and took it to another tire shop. They remover the tire, found no puncture but, with water, did find a leaking tire stem, and, took me to see it. Turns out all four new tires had the old stems inserted rather than new stems as promised by Larrys Tire Center.New stems were installed and off to Ohio I went returning the day after Thanksgiving without any more trouble.

Went there because AdvancedAutoParts recommended them. Extremely happy I went there. Jessie was the mechanic I spoke with and he helped me get the tires balanced. And when I asked about other services he was honest and did not push any unnecessary work. I will be going back there again to balance my other vehicles tires. Thankful to see there are still honest mechanics around.

I had bought a certified used car from Friendship Hyundai, two days later the tire was deflating a bit, took it back to them and was told there was a nail in the tire. They also said there was no way to patch it and that I needed all new tires for nearly $800.I got a second opinion from Larry’s, they patched the tire for $10.00 and said they could do the same four tires for $600 when the time came. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

The culture and approach has shifted. I dont know if its the new owners or not but after using Larrys for 17 years, we are done. Ive called twice to price a new set of tires and been treated with disrespect and sarcasm. The gentleman on the phone thought he knew better what we wanted and was condescending. I tried the second time, thinking maybe I caught him on an off day. Prices seem higher also.

I had a horrible experience with this place today. If you are not careful, you might be thrown in jail for trying to do business with them. Yesterday my wife went here to get a new tire since she ran over a nail and had a flat. They had to order the tire, so today I went to pick it up for her. As I arrived back at home, the police showed up right behind me and told me that they had been called because I had stolen a tire. The store said they called my wife first. However, she was still at work and was not able answer right away, so they immediately called the police. Apparently, while the police were talking to me, my wife called them back and paid for the tire. Their system is broken if an honest mistake like this has the cops talking to you within 15 minutes of leaving the store. When I called the store to ask how this happened, the employee took no responsibility for the mistake and said I should have asked if the tire had been paid for before leaving. Absolutely ridiculous.

Experts at work? Larrys Tire is the quality I had been looking for. The adjustments made in the Front-end alignment could not have been any closer to spec. I replaced inner and outer tie-rod ends both sides, as well as the left side axle and two front tires. The car shook from side to side and chewed up front tires before and after my repairs. Its a 97 subaru and it drives as straight as a brand new subaru. No shimmy or shake. So smooth and only holding the steering wheel with one finger. Thanks to all at Larrys. You guys are the best ! ! !

Went in for a professional opinion on a tire cut expecting an attempt to sell me a new tire whether I needed it or not. They inspected it and gave it a clean bill. Surprised? Yes. Will I go back? Absolutely.

Just to let customers know when you go to get tires make sure they put the right tires on your vehicle cause I purchased 2 tires on May 7, 2018 and today I find out from my mechanic that they had put the wrong tires on the front of my car. I purchased 195/ 50r15 and when my mechanic was trying to figure out why I was having issues with my front end and found out that they had put 195/60r15 on the front not the ones I had purchased and when I called and told the owner he acted like it was my fault which I wasnt the one that put the tires on The good thing about is he replaced my tires but told me to take my business elsewhere after he agreed to replace my tires and to me thats not good customer service and from it to come from the owner was shocking so anyone reading this review please be careful and make sure they put the right tires on your vehicle cause I paid 167.00 dollars and they put a cheaper tire on my car until I confronted the owner about it he was rude and very unperfessional to say the least so good luck if you go to Larrys Tire S ervice in Johnson City on East Market Street

There are only 2 places I prefer to goto for tires, Larrys is one of those 2. While I usually dont take a truck here Ive gotten good deals on passenger car ties from this place. They are easy to deal with and friendly and all the times Ive been here my time wasnt wasted.

I was at Larrys Tire on Market St. today, and a father came in with 2 kids. Waiting room chat revealed that his 5-y.o. son was in town for cancer treatment, they were from KY and having car trouble (old car). The guy behind the counter was very busy, never let on he heard a thing. As I was paying, I wrote a note to the employee, asking to be able to pay the bill for the dads car repair. I was told, There wont be one. Before I left, the employee had come back in from the shop area (where the Rockefellers and Vanderbilts were working hard in 94-degree heat) and quietly pressed a wad of bills into the dads hand, never saying a word. There is much I could say about how privileged I felt to witness this act of quiet kindness, but Ill leave it at this: Im never buying tires anywhere else. (By the way, the new set of tires I bought look great and run beautifully. My mechanic recommended Larrys years ago.)

A few weeks back I ordered a Toyo tire for my 2009 Lexus is250. I ordered only one tire (left front), as it was damaged driving through road construction locally. I arrived early for my appointment and the tire was changed, and I was told I was good to go and sent out the door. After I got home I began to inspect the tire that I purchased, and realized that my rim had been badly scratched around the inside where the weight for balancing goes. Immediately flustered I went back to Larrys to try and get this issue resolved. Larry himself seemed completely unconcerned and uninterested in what I had to say, but told me that he had a wheel guy who could resurface the rim if I brought it back to him the next week. After taking my wheel back to his shop and going without a car for 2 days while it was getting fixed I was contacted and told that there could be nothing done, since it wasnt on the outermost area of the wheel. I went back to the shop to pick up my wheel to find that it had been spray painted where the damage was. After removing the paint myself, and having the wheel put on at a local shop, I noticed a vibration on the freeway when I hit 60 plus mph. I ended up going to a different shop alltogether to get my wheels properly balanced, and to ensure that no more damaged was done. In short, if you dont care about your vehicle at all, take it to larrys as Im sure they will treat it the same way.

Brought vehicle in for alignment and they noticed I needed ball joints on driver side front. Asked how much would cost and was quoted $150 or so for parts and labor. So I brought in today to have fixed and now its $400. Will never bring any vehicle back there including my work vehicles.
