If you want an honest opinion and account of this auctioneer, this will be it. He is very convincing when saying he will get every dollar he can but trust me when I say that YOU wont! My family lost over $35,000.00, we were offered more from an individual. I have since come across others that were highly dissatisfied. Here is a list of issues:Very poor preparationOn occasion, you wait all day and no one shows up.Ad didnt make the local paper so the people that would liked to have come didnt know.He wanted to cancel Friday night after we had it all worked out and said it likely wouldnt do well due to the virus. I agreed only because of HIS seemingly lack of interest.Workers put a hole in the wall.He has a woman that sells food but never mentions her. She just shows up and needs a power source.He promised not to allow anyone to park in neighbors yards or block their driveways but he had to be made to keep that as he watched it but didnt stop it.He brings another auctioneer that does appx half of the auction.Did not research unknown items to him that were very expensive so they were sold for nearly nothing. I could have taken it for scrap and received more.He bragged about buying items that will likely make him a hefty profit in my opinion.Trash, cigarette butts, etc. was left for us to clean upHe told my mother he was going upstairs in her house to take a nap and did according to my mother.If you want honesty and dependability, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere.

Best family run auction in the state. Kimball is fast and thorough and knows his stuff from Hot Wheels to the best jewelry and canes. We always enjoy the auction and have at least one good laugh. On top of the covid as well with masks to purchase and hand sanitizer everywhere!!! Thanks and see ya for the auction, Mike

I’ve proactively been trying to schedule an appraisal for some paintings for the past 3 weeks. No luck. Unfortunate. I choose to keep all my business local but now it looks like I’m going to have to go to Asheville or Knoxville. Hopefully this company is just extremely busy.
