I was so busy planning my wedding, the last thing I was thinking of was checking reviews on this car service and I AM SO SORRY I DIDNT!!!! We just needed a car ride for a 40 minute ride for me and my new husband. I called the week before and was told by a guy named Chris that the price was $88. Less than 5 minutes into the ride on my wedding day, in my dress and all, I was told the price was a lot higher and I refused to pay. The driver put the dispatcher on the phone with me. I told him someone named Chris gave me a price only 1 week ago. He proceeded to tell me Chris was not there any longer and that the price was higher. He was nasty to me and wouldnt even listen to me. He told the driver to leave us on the side of the road....Route 80.....in my wedding dress, with my gifts and all!!!!! This was not the way I wanted to end my wedding day!!!!!! How dare they change the price once in the car, but to tell the drive to leave us on the highway!!!!!!! WTF!!!!! We had him take the next exit to a gas station we knew to have one of my relatives turn around and come pick us up. During this time a woman from the company called me, was very nice, apologized and asked us to get back in the car and said the ride would be free. At this point, you couldnt have paid me to get back in that car. Our ride showed up and we were on our way home safely. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!

Driver was sleeping on the road!!! I was picked up from Newark going home on NJ Turnpike at 4PM. Before we even got to the exit of the airport, the driver was dozing off and swaying the car. After I called him out on it, he said that the wheels are messed up and denied dozing off. He did this repeatedly 3-4 times while on a 40 min ride on the Turnpike. I opened the windows hoping he would stay awake and told him to please get me home safe. Finally he dozed off at a traffic light for a full minute.I called to complain to the dispatcher and he said that at least the last 5-10 times, my ride/drivers have been fine. Are you kidding me? I was risking my life over this and could have been in a really bad accident.Please dont use them!!! Save your life.

Hired services from Newark Airport to Jersey City. Had an awesome experience. Driver was helpful to load and unloading luggage and he was at airport on time. I highly recommend to hire their services

I have no idea where all the bad reviews are coming from. Ive been using this company for over 2 years and no issues. I use them every time I have a business trip, or vacations for our airport dropoff. Usually friendly drivers, polite and prompt service.

This is a complete SCAM. I spoke to them numerous times over a 2 week period to organize a roundtrip service, with the same quoted price each time. They offer a discount if you pay in cash & pay the driver the full amount before the first part of the trip. This is where the SCAM comes into play…they then pick you up for the return trip and refuse to drive you back, demanding payment again. Everyone at the office, including the drivers is coordinating this SCAM. I have never dealt with such unprofessional group. Nothing about them is reputable.

Absolute joke!!! Sketchy! Was hour late in picking me up and didnt even know where to go to drop me off at airport. People are rude and u professional. Almost got us in a crash twice and I have two small children. Didnt feel safe at all. Do NOT use!!!!!

STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!! This car service is terrible; a complete rip off. I asked for two SUVs and they have the nerve to send a filthy 15 passenger Van.. They have no idea how to run a car service, not that I do but I think it starts with giving the customers what they are paying for. From my experience, these people do not listen. The man I spoke (not the driver) to was rude and charged me more than it was agreed upon at the time of booking. My advice to anyone thinking of using this car service is simple, JUST DONT!!!!

Wrost company in NY/NJ. Now doing business under Comfort Plus limo unlicensed limo drivers/Rude and always late. Only call if you want to miss your flight or meetings. I couldnt write a review without giving 1 start. Smh.

I generally have not had a bad experience with them, but on my recent ride from NJ to JFK, the driver was extremely unhelpful and miserable. I was carrying a large suitcase down the stairs and he took his time very slowly to get out of the car. Didnt help me with my bag at all until I got it all the way to his car. During the ride, the general feel in the car was just miserable. He gave one word answers to my questions and just felt like he was miserable being there. What an awful experience.

It was the most pleasant experience while roaming around Jersey city in this Limo. I must say this service is value for money and worth a try.

I have used this service in the past with minimal issues, but the last 2 trips have been very bad.The trip to the Newark airport from Hoboken in October 2016, the driver drove 30 minutes out of the way, up 495 to Turnpike, before heading to the airport. We nearly missed our flight because of this driver.The next trip, from the airport back to Hoboken in January 2017, we waited over an hour for a car which never arrived. The dispatcher kept saying 10 minutes and then claimed the driver was stuck in traffic. There is NO traffic at 1AM on Sunday night! We finally took a yellow cab home and made it to our front door in 15 minutes. Traffic, my a**!It would be good if Downtown hired dispatchers who are honest with clients and set expectations appropriately, and hired drivers who know the best/fastest routes to get to the airport.

Absolutely horrible.. It took them an hour and 10 minutes to get me after my plane landed I was standing on the curb for an hour because I travel with just carry ons. They said it was traffic with in the Terminal when I kept calling, But cabs and other limo services kept driving completely around terminal waiting for their pick ups to come out, so it was BS. Then they charged me FULL FAIR anyway, also the people on the phone were rude and unprofessional.

I used Downtown Limousine last weekend from ewr to home. Liked the service drive was on time. No issues. Would try again.

Worst taxi company in the world.. Drivers and office workers and even the owner of the company is rude and obnoxious, they feel like they can talk to people anyway they want to, drivers have a habit of getting lost even though they have GPS, go figure...Better off using Uber cause Uber prices are cheaper.

WORST airport pick up experience ever!!! I called the night before my flight to confirm, called the morning before the flight to confirm and called when I landed. I was told my SUV was there waiting to take me, my wife and my two small children home. I was told to get my luggage and call back. I did as told and was constantly told to hold on and then the phone disconnected..... 5 TIMES IN A ROW! After waiting 45 minutes (I was waiting on taxi line while still holding out hope for a ride home) they finally sent an old beat up Lincoln town car....... after lying to us and making us walk around the terminal telling me the car is there (which he wasnt) After we get in the car has NO GAS!!!! He gets off on an exit and we wait in a gas line for 20 minutes!!!! Finally got home after 2 1/2 hrs after my arrival.... NIghtmare experience..... Then on way home im harrassed by dispatcher over price!!!!

This limo service is great the drivers keep their cars clean and know the quickest way to get you to your destination! I will be using them again

I used this company for a recent rental for a group outting. The price was agreed upon for round trip from NJ to NYC. We paid the first pick up into NYC for the cost, but upon leaving NYC we were pulled to the side of the road and left to argue on the phone with the management of the company because they said that we only paid for one way! They were not accomodating in the least. If you want to also talk about hidden fees, they said the rate for the return ride was $104, but after the fees it came out to $144 when they finally chared are credit card. Do not use this company.

I have used these guys a number of times in the past for rides to and from Newark Airport. Going from Hoboken to EWR is usually OK, but coming back they wont even dispatch a car until you have your luggage, trek up to the top floor and call again. Even then they are usually 10-15 minutes late.But I used them the other day for a ride from Hoboken to EWR. Never again. They added an extra surcharge that wasnt disclosed up front on top of their typical surcharges for fuel and if you use a credit card. They added $4 for the toll coming back from the airport since the Pulaski Skyway is closed that direction. Note that we didnt pay any toll going to the airport. Theyre assuming the driver went back on the Turnpike and paid the toll, didnt use 1&9 Truck (no toll) and didnt pick up anyone else at the airport (if they did they would charge them the same fee Im sure).Either way, being deceptive and not disclosing this up front is the wrong way to do business. When I called the manager once dropped off at the airport he could have cared less. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY PLEASE.

I hired these guys to travel to Newark Airport after a long time, the dispatcher sounded friendly and the driver was courteous enough to load and off load my baggage. The driver arrived on time.

These guys are CROOKS!!! STAY AWAY!They charge you more than the rate you agree with them. In the car they try to tell scam you and say the rate is $150 when its been agreed at $88 all included from Newark Airport to Manhattan.Their cars are a mess, the shocks were totally shot, the windows didnt work and were stuck open in the freezing cold the entire time while on the highway.STAY AWAY!If you dont pay this new price they ask for, they will charge your credit card without authorization for a higher price.
