Good luck if youre trying to reach them by phone. They dont bother to pick up... continually rings until it times out and hangs up on you. What I expected from Government service.
What kind of test did they pass to get their jobs? I have mailed delivered to my mailbox where the address is not even close to mine. They have dropped off packages at my front door clearly addressed to another house. Have delivered my packages to another house halfway down the street and left at their front door again no similarity to the address other than street name. Thought getting a post office box would help. Have gotten tons of mail addressed to business in Clarksville TENNESSEE that originate from Tennessee and somehow gets put in my personal mailbox in jeffersonville Indiana! I should have posted years ago.

I was driving through Youngstown center when a mail carrier pulled directly out in front of me then threw his hand up to his ear like a phone trying to blame me somehow for him pulling out in front of me. no phone on the planet makes you lose the right of way when you’re going straight and someone else is turning into you’re driving path
Seems they cant ever keep their story straight between the workers. A package of ours hasnt been delivered yet and one says it hasnt been sorted and still in the back and the other said they never took it though the tracking shows it was accepted by them. This is the third time of something like this.
Very unfriendly aggressive employees working the counter! Im a young man who walked in there 2 times only and the same person/employee confronted me about having a mask when i had it on all the way up. Hes looking for trouble left and right. Other side comments and stepping in front of me without saying excuse me Multiple times!
This post office is tiny and can use some friendly faces. Apparently if youre a caller your chop liver and they dont answer the phone. The parking lot is tiny too. If theyre going to consider moving the court house, they need to consider a new location for the post office maybe the old kroger on 10th or old department of motor vehicle building.

Lazy employees cant take 10 seconds to walk to the door to deliever my college diploma I worked 4 years for and instead bends and damages it shoving it inside my mailbox. Upon filing a complaint I am let know there is no chance at us reimbursing you for our mistakes. Terrible service and a terrbile customer service supervisor named Andrew Dennis. Currently in talks with the USPS legal team to get this issue resolved. (to replace the diploma is $33 from Purdue and for some reason thats TOO MUCH for the government.)
Dont bother calling. The phone is not answered. I tried for two days. Someone picked up once and hung up.
I visit this office weekly and have only had excellent service at the counter. The team here is knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous. All of them.Also, the service line moves quickly. Ive often come in and the line is out the door into the lobby but the wait time is never unreasonable because the clerks know how to work efficiently and get everyone what they need.
USPS is the worse customer service on the planet. On several occasions Ive called to track a package that shows at their hub or local sight. When I talk to them because it never goes out for delivery they tell me they have no idea where my package is. This is a routine answer over several orders.
John and Kevin at this post office are fantastic. Even when I have 30 pieces of certified mail which is very time consuming, they are so nice, patient, and helpful.

Needed to talk to a human being on an issue and had to go through a lot of prompts and still didn’t get to talk to anyone about the issue or question I had. Terrible way to run a service for the people.

I send packages to my son in Jeffersonville often. They literally lost a box that was 2 feet tall. They are terribly rude every single time he has a problem. They have charged him extra money for packages I have sent him from my local post office (where it was clearly weighed and marked). You can pretty much guarantee that they will tear up anything that is sent. If I could leave them a review of zero stars, I would.
I would give zero stars if possible.I received a notification that I had a certified letter that had to be signed for before being delivered. The post card notification gave me several options to receive my letter. I choose the option to re-deliver to my home. I filled out the post card and put it in my mailbox for the postman to pick up and then deliver my letter. The notification sat in my mailbox for 3 days, even though mail was delivered, yet it was never picked up. I then received another post card notification the next day that my certified letter would return to sender if I continued to not respond.I filled out the second notification and put it mailbox, thinking I may have filled the first one out incorrectly. The second notification sat in my mailbox for 2 more days despite mail being delivered.At this point I decided to call the post office. My work hours interfere with the post office hours so it’s difficult for me to make time to go in person. I started calling around 330 pm on a Wednesday. From 330 pm up until closing time at 5 pm, no one answered the phone. I called a total of 22 times and every single time the phone rang and rang until I was hung up on.All I want is to have my letter delivered. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life.
We received a card stating that we had a piece of mail that couldn’t be delivered. There was no indication of whom the mail was addressed to, or how we could get the mail. It is completely blank. Was it even meant for us? Was it accidentally left?

I live in a Dutch Lane neighborhood in Jeffersonville. I ship and receive packages every day. In the distant past I have experienced problems, both with carriers and counter staff at the main P.O. I wont go into details, suffice it to say that this year, and probably in the last 6 months or so, I have experienced no problems, and its like a completely different Post Office. Every aspect of my late experience with them has been above board. Ive noticed some staff changes which seems to have made a big impact. Kudos to everyone involved in the great turnaround, and Thank You!
Ive started having mail delivered elsewhere. Even after talking to a sup there, (since the mailmen cant be bothered to push the mail into the box which made it more enticing for thieves to drive by and grab the items hanging out-caught on camera no less) who said shed talk to the carrier, nothing has changed. Might as well just fling it on to my lawn. Update: Id like to at least compliment Jordan today got having an angry mob with style. He might be the only person who cares there.
I had a package delivered today. My security camera shows my carrier actually got out of the truck and walked to my door.... and then threw the box on my porch. Luckily it wasnt fragile, but why even bother walking to my door if you cant be bothered to just set the box down?

Every time USPS has a package they shove it in my mailbox any way they can. Today I had one too long for my mailbox so they shoved it through the back door and closed the front. My package and all of my mail is now soaked. This is unacceptable! They have no idea what is in those packages nor do they care apparently.
I have informed mail.OnTwo separate times months apart my mail that I pay for identity theft has dissappeared.It has my personal financial info in it.I asked local office about it uh.. we dont know, picture of your mail is done by a large distribution center.So I doubt that the same mail has now went missing 2 times in a large facility.I think it is local and was not offered any help on how to resolve. I Called main number got put in touch with a medic alert necklace company.This is nuts.
I live in NC. I have a daddy/daughter dance next weekend so I ordered her dress (the second dress because the first was too big) via Amazon Prime with 2 day guaranteed shipping. It shouldve arrived May 24, 2017.My tracking says it is at this post office. Im very frustrated because nobody will answer their telephones. Im a single father and cant afford to spend money on a third dress.Im losing faith in the USPS.
Its been a while since going into a post office, only till here recently, and both employees have been helpful even though I can be rather clueless sometimes.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Office offers wrapping materials for purchase. PO boxes available. Located on Court Avenue across Locust Street from the Jeffersonville Library. Parking lot entrance on Locust Street. Lot is small and there is limited street parking, so occasionally parking can be a problem. Small post office with limited customer space, so line can extend into lobby. Lobby is large, though, with space to wrap and prep packages for mailing. Drive-up mail boxes on Locust Street.
Most of the time when I get a package it is haphazardly thrown onto my upstairs apartment since the carrier does not want to walk up the one flight of stairs and ring my door bell.. Some of my packages contain glass and could be broken or damaged from being thrown.. I have just recently moved to Jeffersonville and I have been reading the reviews and they are sadly hilarious but the bad service people have experienced is no laughing matter but this post office could be made into a hilariously funny situation comedy
Ive had so much of my mail missing - delivered to completely different addresses, 2 missing visa bills this year, missing letter from Louisville, piece of mail actually found in the road as I was walking!! Reliable mail service? Certainly not in Jeffersonville!!

The mail carrier for our neighborhood obviously doesn’t do numbers very well. The entire neighborhood is about to head down to the post office with our pitchforks and torches. The mail gets put into any box with no regard for the box number. We have to use our neighborhood Facebook page to sort out our mail and get our packages to the right houses. Packages say delivered via tracking and they never show up, sometimes lost forever. Outgoing mail also doesn’t always get picked up. Items sit in the mailbox for days with the flag up.Good help is hard to find I guess.
The carrier that delivers in the ewing/walpole/james drive doesnt know how to read addresses, he puts mail in the wrong boxs, and this week the last 4 days we havnt gotten ANY mail, Im disabled, I have a primary care, cardiologist, pulmonologist, Nephrologist, and a cancer/blood specialists, I have tests done at cmh and floyd hospitals,Social security ect., and they ALL constantly send me bills, appt. Notices, test results, ssi mailings ect. NOT to mention my heart/lung/kidney medications, so believe me when I say that not 1 day goes by where we DONT get mail, and not 1 thing in the last 4 days, about ready to notify the state or federal offices and complain, NOT getting my mail could not only affect my health (which Im sure they dont care about) but could also lead to lawsuits OF it adversely affects my health (like my meds not a arriving when they should), get it together there or attorneys will enter the picture,

Seems Im not alone with the experience I had with the Jeffersonville USPS. I had a package that was to be delivered today, and even the tracking information had it showing that it was loaded up and being delivered today.But when the postal guy showed up and I asked him if he had any packages for me, he snidely said No! Then in a snarky way, he said, I deliver ALL my packages first and I already delivered all that I had. When I told him that the website said that it was loaded up and should be delivered, he only suggested that I should call the post office .. and he knew damn good and well that it closes at noon on Saturdays!Then to pour salt on the wound, an hour later I get a notice via text and email saying that they tried to deliver my package and left a notice ... and there damn well wasnt any notice! NOTHING!!! I was home ALL DAY!!! I think this postal guy was either lazy OR was too proud to admit he made a mistake and instead of bring my package over he just took it back and filled out a form saying he did try to attempt the delivery.If I could I would only give this hell hole a 1/2 a star. And after seeing some of the experiences Im seeing on the reviews, I dont think its going to go well Monday at all.
If you can somehow find a parking space, be prepared to wait in line for at least 20 minutes. Once at the counter you’ll deal with a rude employee whose time your wasting. Whoever delivers our mail is incapable of shutting the mailbox lid, we always have ripped open envelopes and peoples mail is always delivered to the wrong address.
This isnt the first time this has happened. Security cameras show only regular mail being delivered however I received 4 notifications that my deliveries were made. 3 from amazon and 1 very important medication. The medication is what upsets me so much. It cant be that hard to read an address and deliver a package to the correct place. UPS and FEDEX never get it wrong. I so wish Amazon would stop using the USPS to deliver packages. Its such a hassle and now I dont know what if anything I can do about my medicine. This is going on record so if I die from not having my meds my family can sue. What a bunch of idiots!

Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever came across. Lost my package, multiple times this year and all they can say is that there is nothing they can do and to file a claim. They know my package came to their office but have no idea what happened to it when it left. My neighbors have brought me some of my packages and mail throughout the year. Weve called and complained numerous times. Apparently our street is a training route or so they say. I was told I would get a call back, never did. Thinking about calling the news to shine some light in the issue.
The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the people that actually work front desk at the post office are usually pretty friendly and professional, the carriers however are a joke! Constantly having issues with receiving my neighbors mail or them receiving mine even though most people have lived in this neighborhod for years, and if you dont know numbers or how to read how did you get the job as a mail carrier? The mail has fallen out of mailbox due to carrier being to lazy or in hurry to put it in properly or shutting mailbox! The worst is, I ordered a package and mail carrier put it on ground under mailbox!! First if it doesnt fit arent they supposed to set it by door of home? Well I picked package up checked mailbox and not only was there no other mail but the package fit pefectly in mailbox! Unfortunately, I have always heard bad remarks about this post office, and well I totally believe them!
Multiple carrier issues! (Id give zero stars if possible.) She took it upon herself to stop my mail when I marked wrong address on mail that was addressed to a man who lives in another state (same last name but different address)--hes never lived at my address in the 30 yrs Ive lived here! Still dealing with multi insurance calls about terminating my coverage, past due health bills & utility bill issues due to the CARRIERS decision to stop my mail without ANY notification from me! I even went to the post office and spoke with a person at the front desk but she didnt follow through either so the problem continued for another month until a formal case/investigation initiated.Then today I received 2 pkgs (adult jeans, 2 shirts & a card game in a tin) that she crammed in my reg sized mailbox with the mail. The games surrounding packaging looked awful and it was to be a Christmas gift. Too lazy to get out of her truck & take it to the door I guess. The male carrier I had for years before did a great job but this one needs to be fired ASAP! Shes either in the wrong field, hasnt been trained or just doesnt care/no work ethic necessary to do this job.
Absolutely terrible post office with a bunch of idiots that will make up every excuse under the sun for their own screwups. Waited for over a week to get my locks changed and have been back three times to find out what is going on, and all they could tell me was that their vehicles were down. I cant get access to my mail which has important bills, insurance statements, bank statements and things from my family because they screwed up. I never thought Id be writing a negative report on the MAIL service of all things...but I am PAYING for this service and not getting what I have paid for.

They rarely pick up my mail. Sometimes they dont even deliver it. When you go there, to drop off the items they cant seem to pick up, you have to wait in a line that hangs out the door for 10 to 15 minutes. Every timeBut, a place opened up off 10th Street and Penn Street,that I drop off at, The Hub Shipping.No line, just drop it off and done, even though I would rather the carrier just do their job and pick it up. They do USPS and Fedex

I wouldnt even give it a star if there was a choice.I was lied to, yelled at, and kicked out for asking for my mail. The manager wouldnt let me speak. It was the absolute worst customer experience of my life. This place needs to be re-done. The manager I tried to speak with needs to be fired. Everyone there looked miserable. I might be too if I had to work with someone with such a nasty attitude.
Horrible!!!!! Mail carrier sent mail back saying we didnt live here because he didnt want to deliver it. Another mail carrier scanned a package as cod when it wasnt and it took 5 days to get that package because of a holiday. Another mail carrier scanned and delivered a package to the wrong road, luckily I caught it within a few mins of it happening but took the post office almost an hour to find it. Yesterday 2/27/17 scanned a package as out for delivery at 9:37am but returned it to the post office at 1:59pm and scanned it as ready for pickup problem was mail hadnt been delivered to my road yet and when it was a card wasnt left for pickup. I called and was told oh it was sorted wrong and would be delivered today 2/28/17. The reason it was sorted wrong was because of all the horseplay and screaming going on in the background for Bo to call and see how someone was feeling later so they could go out. This is nothing new going on at the Jeffersonvillle post office, it has been happening for the nearly 2 years I have lived in this house and there were other issues with misdelivered items and items gone missing only to be found days later or never found, and mail being sent back due to laziness.

I had a pkg that was not delivered to my house and have called an called an cant get any help...I talk to my mailman and he said he did not deliver the pkg...of course I called company I purchased from and Jeff postal service shows it delivered so Im stuck paying for something I never received and cant get any assistance from jeff postal service to find the pkg...be nice if they answered phone or had a dept that voice mail wasnt full.
For the third time in one month Ive had a package that was returned supposedly because there was nobody there to sign for it. However there was someone there and on at least one of the occasions saw the postman walk on to the porch, no package in hand, did not knock and left a notice nobody was home. If I have a choice how things are delivered to me I will NEVER choose USPS!!!

Terrible! This is the worst Post Office, I have ever had to deal with. Ask for your package to be delivered to the back door, they deliver it to the front door. Ask for your package to be held at the post office, they will send it out for delivery anyway. The office staff is rude and severely uneducated, feels like youre in the hood, when you do have to go in.

Our mail carrier is absolutely horrible. Several people in our subdivision have complained but yet nothing has changed. I received confirmation that my package was delivered to addressee but it wasnt to my house. So somebody has received it.

On 3/14/2013 i stood in line from 12.20 until 12.50 to get waited on as there was only one person working at the front counter until just before i got waited on than another person came on to help.
