This service got closed for charging me the customer and not showing up. And did it to everyone who called. They are no longer in business and they better not come back to town either.

Ok... Where do I start, our evening was not going well I had just got off of work and had no way home, as my ride flaked out on us. We called around and got rates, but to be honest didnt think we would get home. We had checks, but no way to cash them that late and only had 14.00 and the trip should have been quite a lot more.Well he called back like 15 minutes later and said where are you and I will come get you. He came and got us and he saved us from a long walk home which would have been six hours plus. He was a life saver as we were exhausted so, if you ever need a ride anywhere use him or his wife!! They are very professional and understanding. So if you get them, take care of them and they will inturn take care of you. I will definitely only use them from now on.Thanks Wade...

Ive ridden with Family Taxi once on a trip to airport that was scheduled. And yes they are on time and very helpful.The fare they earn driving isnt enough compensation at the end of the day for their kindness and professionalism.You guys may not remember me its been a month ago. But. I have a trip scheduled soon and will be using you guys. For those who wrote the bad reviews well I would maybe have to agree with owners despise. There could be no way that used this taxi service and gave one star.End of the day this Lady and Gentleman that own this business are stars themselves. Be blessed and. And let Family come first.

My experience with this taxi service was quite unbelievable! I had awaken to car trouble and needed to be somewhere quickly..had called a random taxi service UCabbie...only because Ive never been in this predicament and seemed to be the closest to me. I was extremely stressed out...after over an hour of waiting, called and I was treated unkindly..I was made to feel like a burden ..I cancelled...Researched again, quickly called first one that popped up Family Taxi. Immediately my interactions was amazing!!..Not only was they Cassy sympathetic with my situation but she Cassy treated my situation with urgency, professionalism,, as well as sympathy, because I had explained the importance of trip and the time frame In Which I needed to be there..She not only made me feel important but the whole ride there and back the comfortability from conversation to the very well kept vehicle.not only that I had my 25yr old adopted daughter with developmental disabilities and has a difficult time socially Cassy had her laughing she really enjoyed our ride...like I said unbelievable...love this taxi service I will be telling everyone about my experience..oh and considering they shut down highways different routes etc..she had need to take...price was still reasonable especially for the way we was treated!! THANK YOU FAMILY TAXI!! You made my stressful and chaotic morning so much better!!

The owners of this taxi service treat you like family. My husband unexpectedly this past week needed the services of an emergency department. Once he was discharged from the ED in Louisville, he needed a ride back to his hotel in Shelbyville at 4:00 am. Cassie was very accommodating in not only driving him back to the hotel but she also helped him get inside and settled before she left. Later the same day (afternoon) I flew into Louisville and Cassie was there to pick me up at the airport. She not only took me to the hotel but she waited for me to pick up the prescriptions and car keys from my husband and then took me to Walgreens and to my car. Wonderful service.

Im honored to write this review! A stranded friend frantically called me at 2 oclock in the morning desperately needing a ride to Louisville. I called a few taxi services but Family Taxi was the only one to answer in the middle of the night. I paid with my credit card over the phone, they picked him up and drove 120 miles (round trip) to get him home. The driver even called to let me know my friend had arrived safely. Family Taxi should be your first phone call for transportation. Theyre professional, friendly, and dependable. Thank you Cassy for answering the phone and helping!
