I had a beautiful Live Oak about 3 ft from my house that unfortunately needed to come down. I was expecting over 1K to get it cut and the stump grinded. Travis who gave me the quote, was extremely reasonable, helped me make a really wise (albeit heartbreaking) decision. He clearly knew his stuff. When the crew arrived, they offered a neighbor a really reasonable price to limb up her Live Oak while they worked on my tree. She said I was the lowest quote shes ever received! the guys worked fast, they cleaned up so well that the other neighbors said It looked like nothing ever happened!! I will continue to recommend these guys, I am so pleased with their work. I will be calling them again!!!

I was a salesman for Sanford Tree Service last summer. They still owe me $3800.00 of my earned wages. They have not paid or returned any of my phone calls or messages. That is what made me start my own company. So that I would not be robbed by dishonest crooks like this anymore. Beware!Hey Sanford... The truth hurts and this is a small town.

The guys came out to remove 2 trees and trim up one that was too close to my house and did an amazing job.They cleaned up so well after themselves and even removed some branches we had previously removed end laying by the side of our home!Would recommend them to anyone that asks!

I needed two 90+ foot slash pines removed - one in backyard within three feet of the house and one in side yard within six inches of a wood fence panel. I was very concerned about the one so close to the house and the roots that were growing close to the house. The quote was timely and extremely reasonable. The crew that did the work operated like a well-oiled machine. They were extremely careful and worked to ensure there was no damage to my house and yard as well as my two neighbors that were directly impacted by this work (the two neighbors were thoroughly impressed with the work as well!) The crew wore safety equipment, laid down many pieces of plywood to minimize the machinery gouging the grass and cleaned up the work site like they hadnt even been there. They ground the visible roots down to minimize tripping hazard and ground the stumps as well. It was an all day event with many neighbors stopping to watch the work. Three different neighbors have asked for Sanfords contact information to get quotes for work on their properties. That confirms for me we made the right choice choosing Sanford Tree Service for this job. Becky from the office followed up the week after the work was done to ensure everything was done to our satisfaction. Very pleased with the entire experience!

Great service! The quote was competitive. The crew arrived early and stayed late until job was done. They checked to make sure I was happy. Curtis the tree cutter climbed those trees close to the house and swung like Tarzan. Matt, was on the ground making sure both Curtis and the house were safe. Matt also did a great job keeping everyone smiling and laughing. Jeff and James were on the ground keeping the wood chipped going and making sure the largest branches were neatly stacked for pick-up the next morning. When the job was done everything was cleaned up. Im now saving money to have two more trees, this time in the front yard, cut down. Couldnt be happier.

We’re really disappointed in Sanford. We scheduled two trees to be removed (for $3200) and we were given an earliest date of 3 weeks out. Communication was minimal leading up to the scheduled day but I finally heard back that we were supposed to be the first order of the day. Then on the day of, we received a call from the crew saying they ran over on another service (after being told we were the first of the day).They said they couldn’t service us that day because someone else they were contracted with had an emergency and they had to help them first. I understand things happen and I would have been fine with that if they scheduled us for the next day.However, they said the earliest they could get to us was TWO WEEKS LATER! They said that was their first opening. I asked if they could do ours next and then push the next orders back, but they refused.Overall, very unprofessional of them. We chose to be removed from the schedule due to poor communication and poor customer service. They didn’t seem to bat an eye at that either. So sad.

Came out to do a palm and tree trimming job. Did not have the right equipment to do the palms. Made us wait over a month and a half for service with several days of confirmed appointments missed completely by their team. Today 5/18 was the last confirmed appointment and they still did not show and later said there was an injury and they do not have anyone else to get to us or when they will be available again. I feel the job was too small for them and they wrote us off and focused on other big paying jobs. (Which we did use them for a big $3,000 job last year). All and all, this was a waste of my time and may also be a waste of yours.

The team that did my job in Fernandina Beach were like tree ninjas. Well orchestrated team that barely even spoke. They just automatically knew who was doing what step next. That’s always a sign of quality workmanship and the proof is in the results. Exactly what I asked for. I highly recommend.

Well my father and I were worried about a tree that was going to possibly fall down in our backyard onto our house. We called here as we saw reasonable prices and good reviews on the company. We had someone come out and to take a look and he told us that if it was his backyard he’d take this one other tree out as well “a tree my mom has been saying to take down for a while” So we agreed to take down the two trees in my backyard. They came at 8:00 on the dot. They rang our doorbell to let us know that they were going into our backyard and to start the process of cutting a trees down. They did an excellent job there was hardly any residue left and both my parents were happy, and they left us some logs they cut themselves for my dad for our fire pit!!! Great doing business with you guys highly recommend.

Warning: Sanford tree service will descend on your yard like an entire horde of tasmanian devils, and be gone just as fast, leaving only neatly trimmed trees and shrubs behind, without a stick on the ground. Their crew removed a large water oak tree ~120 high and very wide that was near front of my house. They did a good job including huge log removal and stump grinding the following day. Only glitsch was large limb that bounced on my driveway and ricocheted off garage door, leaving visible dent. I suggested that all their workers wear proper PPE to prevent injuries as 1 worker experienced a near miss injury while feeding logs into chipper.
