The entire Kerry Martin team provided top notch customer service and were always professional. Kyle was always available to answer my many questions and Donna kept me up to date on the crews and when they were scheduled to arrive which was extremely helpful. The footer and paver crew did a superb job extending our patio, absolutely loved the 80’s screen crew-so friendly and they did a great job on our lanai. Pool building is part science and part art. When we sat down wit Kyle to design our new pool we had some ideas. As it turns out my pool design idea kinda sucked. Kyle listened to what we were trying to create and then proceeded to laugh at my idea and said, Dwight I got this. He then opened up his CAD software and took my idea and created a completely different design based not off of my pool design but based off of the environment we wanted to create for our new home. The design that was created between him and the vendors that do the rock formations (Rico Rock) was nothing short of amazing. I cant thank him enough for not using my design (LOL). Next came the construction side of things. Brian and his crew, again very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. One of my biggest criteria for whoever would build our pool was good consistent communication. Brian and the office staff did just that. We always knew what the next step in the process was and if scheduling had to change from time to time, we were told. From the use of Pentair Products and the installation and construction of the pool itself, the process was smooth and continuous from start to finish. Brian visited the job site many times over the course of construction to make sure all was going well. The bottom line is The entire staff, including Kerry Martin himself care about the level of products and services they provide. It has been 3 months since our pool was completed and I waited this long to write this review to be sure all was okay and if I did have issues, how would Martin Pool respond. We have had a couple of small concerns (because like other construction projects, pool building is not an exact science) and they have been handled very well and we are super happy with our pool and anticipate many years of fun !!! Please give Kyle at Martin Pools a call and interview him and learn about the Company. I think you will find a quality person representing a quality organization. Martin pools finished our pool just in time to swim and hang out on Labor Day weekend. They did an excellent job from start to finish. They kept me updated on every step they did. The employees were great to work with. I would highly recommend them to build your pool.

We used Martin Pool to help us design and construct a new pool at our new home at the beach. They were excellent at all phases of the project. Very nice showroom and great to have everything displayed for selection. Base price was about 5k more than our other quote and their premium package was another 6k over that. Other quote included almost everything but not an 11k difference.3d model of the house and pool design was a nice touch.

I would give them 10 stars if I could! We interviewed several pool builders, some tried to sell us and some didnt. We didnt care about being sold, we wanted to be shown how they would meet our needs and desires. We never have built a pool nor had one ever, prior to now. We met with them, upon leaving we did some further research and opted to utilize Martin Pools. I sure am glad we did. From the initial concept computer visualization to finishing our pool the day prior to our leaving for vacation it was a great experience! Everyone is so nice, from the workers in the field to the folks in the office. Kudos to all at Martin Pools for a job well done. We will spread the word about you anytime anyone asks for a recommendation. One last thing, remember that what you pay for is what you get, the cheapest price isnt always the best one! Again thank you for a job well done! We look forward to many years of relaxation in our pool!

We asked for them to include a time line on when they would begin work on the project. Understand that unforeseen events can impact start time, but even when we suggested a 6 month time frame to begin the work, they were unwilling to do so. I highly recommend you read the contract language carefully.We asked for them to take on the contracting of the drainage and they said no. We said OK, wed have that work done. But even after that, KMP said we should find another pool company. Really? Well, now I totally agree with that recommendation. We need a company that is willing to partner with us on our project. Best of luck Kyle, you turned down good people and a good prospective customer.

Honest and up front about what they would/ would not do. The workers were competent and friendly, respected our privacy, and seemed to take pride in a job done right. It took longer than expected, but with construction you have to expect that. They would not give us the general contractors direct number, but Donna in the office was very knowledgeable about every step and was quick to contact the GC when necessary. Only one issue came up, but they were quick to fix it.

Excellent company!! We are very happy with the pool & its exactly what we wanted. Pay a little more for the service and reputation. The graphics when deciding on style & size were great!! Went a little over the estimated time to complete but there were holidays and weather concerns

Martin Pools is an A+ company. From the time my wife and I saw our pool on a computer screen, to the time we were filling it up, every person was super polite, knowledgeable and didnt mind me asking a million and one questions. Special accommodations were even made to let me know when workers were in route so I could have my two big dogs situated. The crews are highly skilled and dont rush the work. You can tell they follow the Do it right the first time motto. Thank you for everything!!!

Early this year we decided to put a pool in the backyard of our new home. After meeting with several big name pool builders in Jacksonville, we decided Martin Pools was the way to go. They weren’t the least expensive, nor were they the most. But after meeting with David and seeing his vision for what the backyard could be, we were sold. From the design, all through the construction process, and the questions we have had after completion, these guys have been top notch all the way. The Initial presentation and design of the pool with Kyle Martin was outstanding and was one of reasons we selected them to build our pool. We were kept informed of every step in the build process and they were always on time, even when it rained. We had an existing second story balcony that no screen enclosure company wanted to touch, but Kerry Martin made it happen and our screen enclosure looks phenomenal!! Our backyard is now the place to be and we love our new pool. Highly recommend Kerry Martin Pool Builders!!!

We wanted to use them but they are completely unprofessional and non responsive. The lady that answers the phone is completely rude and made us feel like we are some sort of inconvenience when we are trying to give them business. I cant even imagine what they will be like after we start the process. 2 weeks of calling/leaving voicemails and not getting any calls back. When we asked why, she had the nerve to say well we get 50 things a day so we have to wait our turn. Just wowww at the unprofessionalism. Will never use them.

Nobody ever called me back, they must be to busy! Not even a courtesy call. Im self employed too and I would never treat a customer like that. I cant find a decent marcite company. I even hate to put a star.

I can not comment on the quality of there pools because I cold not get a sales consultant to come to my house in the hours I needed due to our work schedule.They actually asked if I could take personal time from work to meet with them. No costumer service from the start can’t imagine how a pool installation would go if you can not get custmer service to make a sale.

I moved to Jacksonville 17 years ago. Was having my house built and also wanted to get a pool.I got a few estimates and also compared the quality of work done and how long the company has been in business. The quality far exceeded the other companies. They were very clean, reliable and always available. They were a little bit more expensive but well worth the few extra dollars. They are a family owned company and take pride in everything they do. That’s very important to me. 17 years later my pool is still providing us with much enjoyment. It’s been through years of Birthday parties, pool parties and of course surving Florida weather. I don’t have any issues with leaks. I just recently replaced the original filer and motor. They lasted 17 years! I did have Martin pools do the work replacing them. Great work and price. I wouldn’t use any other pool company. They stand behind their work 100%.Thank You Martin Pools for your awesome customer service and always a job well done!👍😎😍

I am in what has been a very long and unpleasant process. I signed my contract to build my pool in June of 2019. The person who designed my pool left the company around sept. Since that point I have received very poor service and have dealt with major issues with how the grade of my yard had been affected. In addition, they have caused issues with my other contractors that has caused repeat visits which will be at my expense. When I was told my fence company could come out, I called the fence company. Because the fill dirt was not put incorrectly, my fence will need to be reinstalled. When it was time for the gas company to come out, we discovered that Kerry Martin Pools delivered the wrong fire pit insert. I called Kerry Martin Pools and they wanted to argue with the gas company. Then, they delivered the correct insert. As of today Jan 14, 2020, I have asked numerous times for Mr Martin to call me but Kyle has refused to ask him to call.Anytime, they mess something up, they tell me as a“courtesy”, they will make it right. I probably have 20 emails asking for corrections. There is one person there who’s ego has completely ruined my opinion of this company. Another thing I have noticed is the how the company lashes out against anyone who leaves negative feedback. People do not want to leave bad reviews, and it pains me that I am so displeased with this major project.They have asked for payment for the stage we are in now, and have refused to accept a credit card although I can not find anywhere in my contract that they do not accept credit cards. Also, I have offered to pay many times but want my yard fixed first and I want a credit for the gas company having to come out twice due to the error on Kerry Martin Pools part. The corrections I am asking for would take them less than one day. I have also asked for a written timeline and they have refused that as well. Most of my emails have gone unanswered.I hope that Kerry Martin makes this right and I can have my yard corrected and my pool complete.As of March, we are still having issues and our concerns are not being addressed. People are messaging me on Facebook with similar issues. KM does not seem to care, they got their money.In response, the below statements are untrue. However, I am available if any consumer has any questions. I just want my pool to be correct, and finished. They did a horrible job and my yard does require regrading. Many of their own contractors and employees have said them same. The builder wants to bully and find the names of the employees not correct their errors. Sadly doing the right thing would be very easy and inexpensive for them. Everyone makes errors, it’s how you handle them that determines your stars. With so many other great pool builders, I should have chosen differently. Other customers have even private messaged me. That was very telling.Every unhappy customer is not “just a bad person”Kerry Martin, just make it right. You could have 5 stars if you just made it right. Not asking for the moon here. And NO- did not ask that you break any rules or codes, however, there is still dead plants and debris behind my fence that your demo crew left behind.

We had our pool and spa built 1 1/2 years ago by Kerry Martin. The whole team made what I thought would be a stressful process easy. Kyle designed a pool and spa using what we thought we wanted and gave us a 5 star resort right out our patio door. Brian supervised the project from start to finish addressing every concern and change with valuable input and professionalism. Susan and team treat us like part of the family when we have questions and keep our pool looking great by testing the water and explaining exactly what chemicals to add and how to add them to the pool. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to let Kerry Martin design, build and protect our investment. Thank you for taking our vision and giving us our own getaway right at home.

Kyle was very negative while coming out for an estimate to resurface my pool. Kerry Martin Pools were the original builder of my pool 21 years ago so I believed they would be happy to resurface it for me. Not the case. Kyle told me they are more interested in new construction pools than renovation. When I told him I was getting estimates, he said “we are not the cheapest in town.” I also wanted my deck resurfaced. He told me that he was not interested in doing that but has a buddy that he will refer. When I asked about pavers for the deck, he asked me “how much money do you think this is going to cost?” As if I can’t afford it or that I was ignorant to the cost. I answered, I’m thinking about $20,000. He said, “no, more like $25,000 if you want pavers.”I got a strong feeling that I was wasting his time, and that either he didn’t want the job or that he felt I could not afford it. We never discussed a budget or time frame. And coincidentally, his estimate for the pool and deck resurfacing (not pavers) was just over what I told him I thought the job would cost, $20,900. I believe this company is definitely more interested in money than the best interest of their clients/potential clients.

Just finished having our pool built several weeks ago. We our very satisfied with how everything turned out. Working with Kyle, Donna, and Brian made the whole process a breeze.Martin pools was recommended to me by a coworker who had his pool built two decades ago. While not the cheapest they were the company I felt most comfortable with moving forward. Once the construction started it felt like they were in and out in no time. Anytime I was home the workers were very polite and always working hard. They made sure to clean up after themselves each day as much as possible. We hit one snag along the way with the pavers we selected for the fire pit but the issue was remedied quickly and they made sure I was completely satisfied. After construction there was one item I wanted corrected so I met Brian on site to show and voice my concern. Without hesitation, he had people out the next week to take care of it.This was our first pool so we had a million questions throughout the process and we never felt like we were a burden. I would highly recommend them to build anybodys pool.

While I havent purchased a pool from Martins, I did ask a question, and they replied in a timely matter!

I had an in ground pool installed all progress was timely staff was helpful Debra, Kyle and Brian had this project running smoothly, the only delays were city inspection which is out of their control, Highly recommend them. After service with chemicals is a breeze just bring in your water and they will give you everything you need. The only hard part about this process was deciding on colors with the wife, again out of their control. They have a low licence number because they have been doing great work for years.

I had Martin Pools put in my pool 20 years ago. They were fast, efficient and didnt tear up the whole yard and left absolutely no mess. I have talked to others that had nightmares with their pool builders. I have recommended Martin Pools many times since they built mine.

If you need a pool fixed during the summer dont go here, their bread and butter is new pools they repair pools in october when no one wants a pool built. They only care about money not customer needs. If you need a pool fixed call Franks pool services, I dont know how good they are yet but my wife called them on Friday and they will be out monday for an estimate to resurface the pool and fix the leak. I came to martin pools to get second estimate and they refered me back to the company that referred me to them in the first place. What a joke!Responce to owner.I came here about resurfacing my pool with pictures, and was told you dont do it during the summer only on October when you dont have anymore pools to build. I wasnt even able to schedule an estimate so I asked a second question about a leak. My review is about how i was treated in your showroom, Im not spending 30-50 thousand for a new pool only 10 to 12 thousand to resurface my pool so Im not important until October when my buisness would be needed. This is what happened and its an honest review and doesnt deserve to be removed.

I live close by so I go to these guys every time for my pool needs. Free water testing to help get your pool water right. They also helped me get rid of some black algae in one day. Their prices for chemicals are good and theyre always super helpful.
