We made an excellent decision, when we signed up our son at St. Johns Taekwondo. Master Gaines has a great balanced way to teach the kids between discipline and fun. They are learning more than Martial Arts and self-defense. They are learning about respect, discipline, commitment and building up better self-esteem.

I was struggling to find a good Taekwondo school - the one that teaches Taekwondo with proper focus on students rather than flattering kids and parents only to make sure that the business keeps rolling. Master Gaines is really good and is thorough with his job and ambition - to teach Taekwondo. My son was going to other school earlier where he was getting next level belts but I was not happy with his progress, always felt something was missing. But glad that I am not in dilemma now with St Johns Taekwondo doing a great job. My son has to now work out to earn his belts!!

My daughter cried the whole way to her first lesson, but Master Gaines has been so kind and patient with her she has gained so much confidence and loves going now! Master Gaines is wonderful with the kids and knows when they need a gentle push.
