I think this is a great place to do karate at. The man running it, Grandmaster Pak, love him or hate him, is really is good at his job. The other masters also teach kids well too. Some of the kids misbehave, but I equate it to them being young. Overall, this place is great. You wanna do Karate? Head off to Paks. It will be worth your cash.

Unique review. I started here at 4 years old. I grew up in this school and learned so many valuable things through the traditional teaching by grand Master pak. I am now 30 and run my own martial arts school under master pak. You get what you put in when it comes to the training. I highly recommend this school.

As an avid martial arts practitioner this school is one of the best I have attended hands down. Having a job where I travel a lot normally leaves me training by myself or training with others from different martial arts systems, philosophies, and techniques.While I do love learning new styles and techniques, i learned very quickly there are some systems that pale in comparison to Paks. On the surface they may all look the same with same basic movements, however, when it comes down to the application of the techniques, this is where other systems have failed me.Grand Master Paks system has been proven effective no matter where I have gone to practice and spar. The length of class increased my cardio, the types of stretching increased my flexibility, and retuning to the basics to make sure each block, strike, or kick applied was effective and accurate. Forms clinics, sparing clinics, and any specialized training given only perfected our techniques. Grandmaster Pak does not send any student into the world blind and unprepared.I wish we still had a school in VA Beach area as I would gladly love to continue my journey with this organization. Jacksonville does not know how lucky they are.

Paks Karate is awesome! They take the time with th kids to make sure they are able to learn and grow. They truly love what they do and Pak cares about the best for your child and is invested in teaching and helping them in every way possible! My son loves it!
