First Coast TaeKwonDo has created an incredible group of talented and respectful kids. At this magic show at their 2012 Family Appreciate and Awards Ceremony, I had the pleasure of entertaining over 100 well-mannered and happy karate students.

The first time I went there, I was amazed by what they do. They have a homework room, snack room, game room, and of course a dojo. During the summer, they go somewhere everyday. Now dont take my word for it, go ahead and try it out for yourself. Have fun at FCT!

My daughter has been going to FCT since May 17 and she loves it but it wasnt until hurricane Irma came that I really got to see their true colors. As soon as Clay and Duval county schools announced that they would be closed for the entire week following the storm FCT sent out an email stating that they were opening their doors and to rsvp by 6:30pm if your children would be attending the next day. Despite some minor roof leaks (they took the kids on a bowling field trip while repairs were being made) and some of the staff still without electricity and with damage to attend to at their own homes they opened up to offer full day camp without charging so much as a dime extra to anyone. Even the YMCA, who opened up day camp, was charging $25 per day to parents who still had to work despite schools being closed. First Coast Taekwondo is one class act and an asset to the community, I am so grateful and moved by their generosity.
