The selection here is fairly good and the customer service is amazing. We never have a problem when we go here! The plant selection is massive! Also they have a section of local business products! I love going to this location!

Wonderful place with a great selection. A bit more expensive than your average, but worth it for the customer service and ease of transactions/returns. They have a no backpack policy which I found to be a little weird as someone who likes to bike around to places and hates using plastic bags.

I love visiting Halls- The staff is always pleased to see you and they go out of their way to assist in anyway they can. They have all the products I need to keep my grass and yard looking great. If for some reason they dont have it in stock they are happy to order it for you. Shop local-see my friends at Ace on Blanding-you’ll love it!

I have been going to this Ace hardware for over 20 years. Theres one gentleman there that has been there the whole time unfortunately I do not remember his name. He is always extremely helpful as everyone else that works there as well. I would rather pay the extra 10 to 20% on my items than to go to home Depot or Lowes. I give them five stars plus.

Great place and great prices, I messaged the store looking to see if they had pear trees in stock and they responded very quickly and were extremely helpful.When I went to the store the next day the young guy in the garden center was excellent and went above and beyond to help.The prices and product are much better than the big competitors stores. I will be going back this weekend, I live on the opposite side of town and drive past a few of the bigger stores to get to this one and its more than worth it.

My family and I have been going here for years. They are always helpful I have bought all kinds of things here--canning supplies, light bulbs, yard trimmer, grabbing tool, and, of course, plantsT this is one of the few places you can get things like herbs that have been grown without pesticides.

Mr. Halls Ace Hardware has a great selection but most importantly the employees are amazing. Before I could even ask for help a friendly very knowledgeable Man started helping me find & get what I needed. And the front cashier was a delight. Mr Hall has a good team.

The associates were very helpful in the garden area to help select the best product.

EVERYTIME I VISIT THIS STORE I HAVE HAD A NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. I UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE HELPFUL, BUT ALLOW ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER. Sometimes I feel that since they are the little guys they have to press harder. They all could use a course in customer service.

Dont let the modest facade throw you off. Through the front door is an impressive 2-acre lot of flowers, shrubbery, flowering trees; difficult to find the types Japanese cherry blossoms; & crape myrtles I couldnt find, other than at online nurseries at more than twice the cost.

I have always used this Ace Hardware store for specialty hardware needs. They sell and service Stihl products which is the point of this review. Drove to the store to get/order some parts for my Stihl equipment. Well, could not even place an order because the guy that orders apparently doesnt work all the time, Therefore, a total waste of my time to try and get replacement parts at this store. Not to mention that you cannot order any Stihl parts online from anybody. I have lost respect for this store and for Stihl equipment. Not sure what Ill do from now on, but I wont be shopping at this store. They have lost a good customer!

Ive been going here off and on since I was a kid. I do miss the big parrot. Great customer service, they dont leave you hanging waiting for help. Very courteous people. They have things you wont find at the big hardware stores. Great plant selections. Prices are a little high but, its worth the customer service.

A good selection of plants of all kinds. I bought a Barbados cherry at a good price, my friend found a nice fig tree. They had a good selection of soil amendments and lots of helpful assistance as well. A go to!

Today was our first time at Halls Nursery/Ace and we were completely blown away by the level of customer service we received as soon as we walked in the door. Jim was very knowledgeable about lawn care and was very patient as we asked questions and shared the story of our lawn. He really listened to what we had to say and by the end of our shopping experience, we came out feeling confident that we could restore our lawn, thanks to Jims advice. I had my first experience here recently and was very happy with how it went. Personally, I dont know the first thing about plants but I was sick of having an apartment with no greenery. Jim and each of his staff were so friendly and helpful in explaining everything I would need to make sure I know exactly how to take care of my new green friends! Plus there were tons of gorgeous plants to choose from, its a beautiful nursery they have. Thanks guys!

Ive been a customer for 20 years and keep coming back. The hardware portion of the store has some knowledgeable and helpful employees that respond much quicker than trying to find someone that knows anything in larger stores like Lowes and Home Depot. The nursery portion of the store also has very helpful employees who advise me on things like insecticides, fungicides and fertilizer. I recommend this particular Halls/Ace.

I absolutely love this store and the staff. The plants are very well taken care of and such an amazing variety. I have to say that one employee Tammy (I hope I spelled it right) is one of the sweetest and most knowledgeable people when it comes to gardening I have ever met. I always look forward to seeing Tammy. She helped me pick out the best flowers for a butterfly garden and it has become a sanctuary and success.

There’s been a handful of dedicated plant stores springing up in Jax recently during these trying times. But really, it is Ace Hardware that is an absolute gem for unique plants that I am almost reluctant to share with others. Mainly for my own selfishness, but my general conscience and budget does not allow me to buy all the plants for myself.This is also one of my favorite Ace Hardwares/nurseries to get lost in and the customer service is also bar none.Tammy is so incredibly kind, knowledgeable, helpful. She went above and beyond for my friend and I during our plant browsing adventures - worked with us to help find out what we looking for and shared tips to care for the ones we had. She also let us know that our most coveted, wishlisted plants were in! My friend was floored with having to pick among her trifecta of arrivals. We’re looking forward to coming back once we make room in the abode for more! Thank you all.

I went there to have 2 auto keys cut which I had with me and they said they dont cut outside keys,just theirs.Didnt say on their website that dont cut outside the store keys.so they need to explain this so other people dont have the same experience I did. I went to Wal-Mart and they did them right away and it was free!!!!. So wont go to halls Again for anything,ill drive clear across town if I have to.and Im going to spread the word also.

I also grew up going to Ace hardware, and I bought a house 6 years ago near this location, since then Ive spent probably at least $5,000, probably more at this very location. But I will never forget the last time I will ever go there. I went to return a $10 hose end sprayer, WITH A RECEIPT and exchange it for a different product because it would not work on the hose that I also bought at this very same store, so they took it out back to prove it worked on their hose (a different hose) so they could prove me wrong. After he returned to tell me his results, I explained that I tried it for approximately 2 hours, took it off, put it back on, used channel locks, tried multiple times, got completely soaked from the BACK of the sprayer, nothing came out, can I just exchange it? Then Belinda came over, to argue with me about it and shut me down. I explained again, and also added this time that Im disabled and have nerve damage in my hands thinking MAYBE she might understand a little better, I honestly thought it just didnt work, because I tried 5+ times. So, then the lady (I wont say what she really is) continued to argue with me and talk down to me like Im an idiot. I replied, well do you have a trash can to put this in so I can buy something different? She continued to argue with me about it following me up to the register where she embarrassed me in front of about 5 customers and then shoved my product I was going to pay for across the register. It took a lot for me to keep my cool and not completely go off on that- insert expletive here- And that is why Ill never go to ace hardware ever again. Any other store Ive ever shopped at in just about my entire life would have exchanged a stupid $10 item no question asked, except for Belindas brilliant loss prevention team. Realistically they should know me by my first name here but they dont instead they harassed me over a $10 exchange while I was also buying another product I needed. Im not sure why I didnt just walk out and not buy either.

The christmas foliage selections poinsettias and xmas cacti are beautiful and healthy. The xmas trees are so pretty and healthy and again nice selection of size and price.

Best place to go for just about anything. Their plants are healthier a d have never had one die like the ones you get at big box stores sometimes... The store employees are awesome and way more knowledgeable than any other place I have been..... Great place... Check it out..

Ive been to Ace hardware plenty of times, but what makes my experience great every time is the young loader. His name is Darius and hes very helpful, polite and works so hard. If you shop there ask for him.

I recently rediscovered my local Ace. My parents used to take me here as a child. I remember the parrot and the cold sulfur water-fountain. Was looking online for hard to find product and the blue and orange stores did not have it but Ace did. Walked in and was immediately helped. Ace IS the place with the helpful hardware folks.

I find myself going to Home Depot less and less often now that I found this place. Their inventory is surprisingly expansive - its more one stop shopping that I would have expected. Some items are obviously a little more expensive than the giant chains, but not unreasonably so. The staff is way more helpful, their plant and garden center is awesome, and if I remember correctly, they dont play terrible music while youre in the store, so what more can you ask for? Oh, and they seem to have really good prices on making fancy computer chip car keys, so its worth stopping in just for that!

If you want real honest to goodness service, this is the place. There might be a wider selection at the big hardware stores, but have you ever needed help at one of those places and waited forever, and then when someone finally comes by to help, they arent that knowledgeable or helpful? This place covers the basics and some extras when it comes to hardware. They have a great garden section. You can get your propane tanks filled here. And I like seeing the same familiar and friendly faces when I go there. I know Ace is a national chain, but coming here just has a more pleasant local feel to it. Unless I need a specialty item or brand that Ace doesnt carry, this is where I go.

Always the best service here. Well staffed and they usually have everything I need or want. Often times they have the thing I need and the big box store doesnt. I always prefer to spend my money here. The excellent service is worth the slightly higher prices for hardware related items. For gardening items this is the only place I shop. Im never disappointed.

My family and I were treated so well here. The employees greeted us as we walked in and were eager to assist us with all of our needs. We knew nothing about citrus trees before we arrived. With the extended amount of knowledge the employees hold and the patience they walked with us and educated us about the trees. They gave us a military discount and reported our tree free of charge. We will return, and I highly recommend Halls.

And if you are an outdoor person and would love to see gorgeous flowers and gain some knowledge about various plants, this is the place. The nursery is magnificent! I live less than a mile from Lowes, Id rather drive 8 miles to shop here!

Nice little country store. The employees were ever so friendly and the merchandise was at a very competitive price. I was able to buy what i looked at all the major stores for and at substantially lower cost. The store was really clean and i had no trouble getting help when i needed it. The staff was very knowledgeable and i had a one question the clerk didnt know and they made sure i got a correct answer before we left. There is a ton of things in this store and just about anything you would need for a household project. They will also tell you the best way to do what it is you are working on if you dont know how. Definitely a store i will be returning to.

This Ace has saved me so many times! They have a HUGE selection of nuts and bolts. I work on a lot of automotive and things. ALWAYS have what I’ve needed in stock at great prices! Customer service is always great!! Too bad the big box stores are taking over but I HIGHY RECOMMEND!! Great neighborhood stop to pickup small home repair items.

It was a bit annoying. Were trying to park and the only open spot is next to a man that left his door open (Huh?) We park and I slammed his door shut. As soon as you walk in salespeople (What can I help you with today?) I get it, customer service, but were fine. This bothered me - there was a salesperson that kept interrupting the conversation I was having with my husband about the product we were looking at. 🤨 The checkout is slow. The people in line had no more that one item for purchase and it took forever to check them out. Maybe its this location, but Im pretty sure I will not shop there again. The jam vibe was non existent.

Halls Ace Hardware & Plant Nursery is my favorite go-to for plants, flowers, garden supplies and hardware. Unlike the large stores, the staff are always close and available to help you. Additionally, if you have any gardening or hardware questions, they are very knowledgeable and will take you to the product you need and/or explain what you need to know. Diseased plant, lawn or tree? They have or will find the answer for you.

Great knowledgeable staff, this place has so many varieties of flowers, plants, tools for indoor and outdoors. Ceramics, and statues, fountains and flagstone, sandstone blocks for pathways, and tons of different top soils, and garden feed. They always have the best sod around. The lawn people are very knowledgeable, and helpful. Their selection of plants for the yard is impressive for a smaller-sized store, and in the spring, they have the best plants for the garden at the best prices Ive seen. Everyone is very friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you have the right supplies. A lady spend a lot of time helping me find the right part for my lawnmower. Yeah, Im a repeat customer. Love the store.

Requested 3 pounds of Bermuda Grass seed after stripping lawn, spreading fresh full dirt and top soil, raking in fresh fertilizer. Went back two days later for more and was told they dont sell Bermuda raw seed by the pound... but have Bahia by the pound. Personal two days prior sold me Bahia NOT Bermuda as requested.Now I am stuck with a brand new cow pasture instead of a nice lawn. Their fix... rake it all up and start over. Thanks Halls Ace Hardware Nursery for completely screwing with your incompetence!!!
