Possibly the worst internet provider in the nation. “High speed” internet of up to 25 mbps. This is 2021. 25 mbps is VERY slow.Customer service is rude and unhelpful.Very inconsistent. Cant even get through a 15 minute YouTube video without it buffering two or three times. You constantly have to reset router.

Terrible service. We pay over $100/month for internet that goes out several times a day and is sometimes down for an entire day at a time. They say theyll come look at it and never show up. Say theyll upgrade our service and dont but they sure upgrade our bill!!!!! Then when you call and tell them you didnt receive the upgraded service, they say theyll take the charges off. Still there the next bill so you call again. We have no record of you calling. Seriously?!

Awful place. My sister and I traveled to Jacksonville from the east coast to help our elderly mother get her email running again, its been impossible. Cant get it working. We get outgoing working and then the in coming doesnt work. Call customer service and get in q for them to call us back in 45 minutes, the call comes with an automated caller saying this is your automated return call from frontier and then promptly hangs up.

In the last six months. If you total up all the days without Internet that Ive paid for Ive paid them for a solid month of NO Internet, and now its out for (hopefully) 3 days this time. Dont bother with the jacksonville office. Im surprised if its even still there. Yes its cheap yes its unlimited. But you get it at 6 day intervals.

I would personally say frontier has to be the upmost worst internet in the area. I could probably have a better internet company with a soda can and two metal antennas. If your trying to do anything that requires internet and you have frontier, good luck. If you were on the verge of death and the only thing you have is frontier internet, well sorry to say you’re probably going to die and the only thing you’ll see before that happens is a error code saying “connection could not be established” or it would be so dam slow that you’d die before anything could load

Great service at the local retail store. If you need service this is where to go.Too bad people are leaving reviews for a 800 number customer service on this site. This local retail store is great but you have to call the local number to talk to someone local. Ask for Connor. He is great.

If you want terrible service, your bill to magically jump around, and to have your rep make promises to fix a problem and then start straight up ignoring you, go with Frontier Communications. Theyre even so awesome that they shut off the service to my business when Ive been doing and paying exactly what they told me to.

Im being generous here. The rep that works at this location Brad is fantastic. He reqlre went up and beyond helping us get service installed and going through all the set up work. I really appreciated his hard work. After said that frontier needs to be avoided at all costs until they fix their absolutely terrible internet. It is rather slow comparer to other companies. It disconnects several times a day. The 800 number is helpful to an extent but after working with them for hours on trying to just keep the router connected for more than an hour at a time they just came to the conclusion that I was in a high usage area and its just going to happen. Not to mention they lowered my speed for 18mbs to 12mbs to make it more stable and that did absolutely nothing. My final complaint is frontier used to be the cheap option in town and a little more reliable. It used to be about 35 dollars after tax. Now its 65 dollars after tax. Xstream is offering me 200mbs with 2000 gigs a month for 58 after tax. I know it will go up after a year to an extent but if its more reliable it will still be worth the switch. Dont get frontier first and try to switch either theyre going to attempt to charge me a 120 dollar cancelation fee even though Ive only had it for a month because their internet has been abysmal.

I would give Zero stars if possible. Voicemail has been out off and on for the past month and a half. One of the responses that we received (when they eventually called back) was that they had to order a new part. Then we got it must be a bad switch. They always promise that it will be fixed within an hour or two. It never is. The supervisors response was Im sorry but there are 21 tickets ahead of yours and unfortunately we have inherited aging equipment and it takes time to get it all upgraded. Clearly they have much larger issues than just my voicemail. It is impossible to run a small business without voicemail. I cant switch carriers fast enough!

If I had any other option I would go elsewhere! Their internet sucks! Their customer service sucks! I had a call from their problem remediation team. Called me at work twice, tried calling me at home, finally on the 4th day got ahold of me and told me my neighbors were all getting on the internet at the same time so that was the problem. REALLY!! I live in a town of 500 people and their infrastructure cant handle this many people?? They dont seem to have any problem collecting our payments! If you have any other options, try them first. STAY AWAY FROM FRONTIER!

Im so upset with Frontier. At first, I gave them a 5 star rating. I jumped the gun. After one month of service, my internet lags and then I receive two bills. The first bill was for a phone line that I never ordered. The second was for my $34.99 internet but then they added things I never requested. So much that my total bill was $99.36. When I called to inquire, they disconnected my phone line, appologized, removed the other charges then I went on my way. Only to find out after a long conversation that my internet was out. I called to get someone out, and they said its a friday, they were busy and couldnt have someone until Monday. Which really made me mad because I had a huge paper due for my online classes.By the time I called Will, the amazing tech from my start up, and Connor who is the manager of the Jacksonville office and tech support and even the retention department, the library was closed. My paper didnt make it in.This is my text to Will. The guy asked me to give frontier another chance and wait until my services were back on and one more billing cycle.I dont know why, but I said okay.Heres the deal. I called way earlier in the day to where a tech could come out. When I remembered you gave me your number if things went wrong, I sent a text. When you asked me if I was having trouble, you couldve at least tried to swing by or had your office send another tech.Since the very beginning, Ive been lied to. Its a disheartening feeling. I even had so much faith in Frontier, you and Connor, that I posted an awesome review on Google. Shame on me for jumping the gun. From simply wanting internet to having having no order actually placed by the first rep, to waiting extra days to get service, to having two bills with purchases I never even made to the lag of service to poor customer service to having a paper not turned in that was 40% of my final grade.... Frontier as a whole, failed me. I am sure you can see why I am so upset. Thanks for being assertive in the beginning. I guess thats always easy to do when you want someones business. Too bad its not like that to actually keep them as a customer. And, here was my original review. Goes to show how poor customer service can get you rated from a 5 star to a 1. Looks like they have some brown nosing to do before I change my mind again. So, I decided to go with Frontier and just called the 800 number. Wrong move. After a lengthy conversation with the sales rep, I thought I was satisfied with my order which internet was supposed to be sceduled for the next day.[The next day] I waited around for nobody to show up. I then called the nearest local office in Jacksonville and spoke to a gentleman named Conner. He was a huge help, we went over everything I went over with the first sales rep in like 10 minutes max. He promised someone would be out the next morning, offered me some incentives for the miscommunication from the previous rep and was very apologetic and sincere to my situation.Today, I was contacted by Will. What an outstanding guy! He was calling to let me know he was on his way within a half hour. 15 minutes later, he showed up. Ive met Will before and seen him around my small town and he even serviced my moms internet. Very friendly, excellent customer service and explained everything in detail about what he was doing and why. People like these two men, are rare to find and to find two of them within the same company was awesome. Both men assured me that they would be there to answer any questions I may have or if any problems were to happen. Very personable, helpful, friendly and always good to see a familiar face you can trust. Excellent job you two! I hope to be a long term Frontier customer because of you guys!
