I have had horrible service for over a week now. I have talked to several people and until today 5/17/2021 no one would schedule a technician. They always went through the have you restarted your router? Swap ends on your cord. It doesn’t fix it. So then I finally got someone to schedule a technician and then they text me and told me the problem was fixed and at that point it seemed like it was. Now (2 hours later) it’s not working again. Plus can’t get them to schedule another technician. They just keep telling me it’s because you use too much internet. We have not been using any more than we have for the past 2 years. Probably less really because it has been pretty outside so that’s where we have been until today’s rainy day.

When I had service with them I had no problem. Always able to help me. I moved and had to cancel my services because they did not service where I moved to. I was told I would get shipping label to my email/ mail and didn’t receive one so I went to the post office and paid over $20 to have it sent back to them. They told me my account would be closed so I couldn’t check anything anymore. Well I got an email saying my bill was due which I was told I wouldn’t receive one because I had just paid 5 days prior to canceling services. I got my package back in about 5 days. I called to see what going on. She said that I shouldn’t have a bill adjusted it and said I didn’t have a bill and that she will send me another shipping label out that day. I finally got it days after she said I would and I sent it back that day. A month later I get a check because it turns out I overpaid and saying they received my equipment. Two months later I just got a bill for $109.09. I had to call multiple times because they kept hanging up on me and the chat kept saying the same thing. Finally talk to someone and I explained to her that I had returned my equipment and that I’m not sure why I would get a bill. She got smart and was like “Well that’s what is showing in my system so when did you turn it in.” Then she got quiet and said oh well I’ll take that off your account. No apologies because they had received it or for getting an attitude just that she would take it off. I asked for her name and she said I’ll give you the adjustment id. Well if I were you then I would make sure to check my bill at all times because it doesn’t make since that they are trying to get over on people. I was going to ignore it and say they made a mistake but if I did then it would have hit my credit and it would have been nothing I could do about it then. Please pay attention.

Customer service has to be the worst in the business. The internet speed and reliable is good but talking to there customer service is the worst.

Their service is not consistent. It randomly disconnects for literally no reason. Which in 2021, is genuinely not acceptable.. I found myself constantly having to restart the router in order to get decent performance. For this reason I never really have trusted DSL.

Did not do what they said they would do. Tech would not stay and finish job. All I got was, I apologize. Apologies dont provide service to customers. Should be no excuses when it comes to service

I’ve been switched around from person to person multiple times that I’ve called. Nothing ever gets fixed and I would drop them; however, they are my only internet provider.

The worst service I’ve ever experienced! Paying for a high speed and not even getting a fraction of the promised speed! Customer service has me on hold for two hours just to cancel service. Do not use century link!!!!!

Ive been waiting almost a month for install. Firstly I called for a technician within the first week of moving into a new property and get a tech scheduled.Day of, no-show.I call and am told more wiring work needed to be done and would be done by 10 Sept. I call 11 Sep. Nope, not done. The agent schedules me for 18 Sep and assures me things will be done this time (likely language breakdown, not surprising.) Evening of the 17th past their customer hours, I get an email saying they wont be out here because more wiring needs to be done.Oh and theyve already charged me a month of service.Ive had to withdraw from online classes and have been relying on phone hot spot for three weeks. They dont care about their customers and the fall out. Im currently looking for other providers that service the area I now live in.

By far the worst internet service Ive ever had. Ive lost internet service several time a month. If there was a way I could give them less stars I would.Edit: had to go through 3 different numbers and currently still on hold. Will update tomorrow when I actually get through to someone.

Was on hold for an hour 3 times just to get hung up every time within 15 minutes of being on the phone. Very pushy when you dont want to bundle. I just want to upgrade my internet and change my address...

Worst company ever. 3 months no service said they would refund us. Then started charging us for high speed. Yet the lines in the county wasnt set up for it. So we never could get high speed. 95.00 a month for 3 years before they finally dropped the rates because high speed wasnt available. Now its down again. Hard to get ahold of anyone.

Stayed on hold each time that I need help for over an hour. My internet worked for only 2 weeks. They still havent been out to check my service. The tech online had me checking outlets, wanted me to go in my attock to check lines up ther etc.. WORST SERVICE/EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND!!!

Over charged me If I could rate a 0 I would! Try to charge me for a bill I didnt owe ! DO NOT GET THEM THEY ARE A RIP OFF!! 😠😠😠😠😠😠I cancelled my service and they still charged me for it, they are scammers I paid my last bill before I had it disconnected and now they are saying that I didnt pay it but I know damn well I did! !

Waited a week for a service call to turn on service. Never showed, though they stated they did and would have to return because this was a big job. Waited another week for a second attempt. Never showed, and customer service started the second appointment was never made. Was told they would make me a third attempt appointment in a week.CenturyLink, you are a joke.

Anyone considering using CenturyLink internet service in England, Arkansas may want to reconsider as their service is sub-par at best. You will end up paying for a service that you only get half the time at best. I have contacted them numerous times complaining about the service going in and out and their standard response is to reset the modem/router or go through the process of reconfiguring the modem/router. Sometimes this works for a bit but most of the time it doesnt work at all. I have had internet service from various providers in different towns and this is by far the worst service, not even close, and they dont care. All they want is your money. A 1 Star review is being generous but I didnt have a choice to go lower.

The guy couldnt even install our internet because the house we live in has no phone jack and apparently they dont install phone jacks so when we tried to return the equipment theyre never open the only phone number for the local company is the corporate number. The address thats online is literally a private residents. So after an hour of looking for the place everything is locked and not a soul to answer the door.

CenturyLink has the worst customer care in the world, they just pass you to another person and it goe’s on and on, you will never get the help you need and just one excuse to another excuse. Their repair folks are lazy and do piss poor work. They lack supervision and the ability to do the repair work. I’m still waitin them to bury a cable in my yard, but even with that, they can’t even provide the day and time to do the work. Folks save your money, Hughes net will be more than happy to hook you up

Have service with them right now. live in a booming city have the fastest you can get is 25mbps which is trash. and always slowing down to like 1-5 mbps and cant doing anything on it when its like that

I wish I could rate this a -⭐!!! Worst internet ever! We do not have cable lines, so DSL is our only option where I live. We have to reboot the modem damn near every day! For $87 a month you would think it would at least work! I have a teenager here that needs the internet to do his homework and we watch TV via internet. We have replaced the modem, had a tech come out and tell us the lines in the whole neighborhood are jacked up, we have to call support at least twice a month. I really freaking HATE it!!! 😠

Service goes out at least 3 times a week that requires a phone call to technical support. No technical support on Sundays and it always goes out. We pay way to much for the hassle. Had to cancel service.
