Showed up today to covered windows and a moving team taking equipment out the back.There was zero warning or heads up given to the customers. They didnt even have the decency to put a sign on the door explaining the closure, how to contact them, or if memberships will continue to be renewed.A group of the regulars showed up at our normal time and were left standing out front dumbfounded. Zero YouFit presence.

I used to love this club. Well since they reopened they didnt advise those of us that were loyal customers they would resume charging in December right b4 Christmas. Even with the lack of communication they wont refund me the annual fee when I havent been there all yr.Horrible customer service. Im a single mom trying to shop for Christmas presents. I dont appreciate it and will never join their club again.

Youfit is a clean facility, however with all the social distancing, you cant work out next to someone that came with you. Staff is great and very polite. Still on the fence about joining only for the reason of not being able to go on a treadmill, rower, etc and be next to your workout buddy.

Now when you call their number it rings twice, and then says good bye..

Pretty decent facility to work out in, its never overcrowded, staff is okay, and there is a fairly decent amount of gym equipment at your disposal😃

Me and a neighbor are retirees and we are so glad to see this site reopen and Crystal at the front desk is a welcoming site with her warm greeting and is so helpful as we enter and leave we look forward to walking in and being greeted by her and she is always wiping the equipment down and feather dusting. The only thing missing is the Zumba classes do you know when they will start up again?

Loved YouFit until the pandemic hit.Why were they the only gym in Jacksonville to be closed for months after ok’d to open. The only gym to continuously charge their members during closure. Made it impossible to seek any resolutions.Handled themselves very unprofessionally.

Finally reopened, agreed to credit my account for the five months I was charged while they were closed. Sanitation is very good. Machines are cleaned before and after use.

Closed for almost a month after OKed for reopening. Still no showers, try to go before work, but cant because of closed showers. Cant be because of covid, washing prevents spread.Today told cant come in without a towel, cant shower but required to have towel. Already have to wipe down equipment after youre finished. Not going sweat everywhere in a 20 minute workout.Just trying to sell towels.Could quit on line. have to go back cancel membership.

Jessie is a great manager that looks out for her employees. Youfit feels like home because of how friendly everyone is. Jessie the manager always wants whats best for the gym and shes very friendly. This gym is also super clean

Great place to get a workout. Not all of the staff is friendly, however, Jessie the manager is always welcoming by greeting you with a smile. She is always willing to listen and address any concerns brought to her attention.The maintenance crew do a great job keeping restrooms and equipment clean.I want to thank Jessie and crystal for being charismatic.

Charged me AFTER they are close during the pandemic until I got a hold of them to freeze my account. Opened back in August and announced with a single email that got lost in the spam folder. Automatically unfreeze my account WITHOUT my authorization and continued to charge me eventhough I didnt use the gym because I didnt even know they opened. Manager wouldnt refund for the new charge or the annual membership that I dont get to use, even request $10 when I asked to cancel my membership. Stealing money out of their member pocket and dont even take responsibility for it. VERY unprofessional!

This gym didn’t make it through the shutdown and they’re handling it HORRIBLY from the top down. Their Twitter is on fire with angry, former members who have since left and are still being charged membership dues for locations that have been closed since March. Here is my “annual maintenance charge” after they’ve been closed 3 months. DO NOT join a Youfit ANYWHERE. They are going bankrupt.

I will say that there has only been a handful of times I was able to visit this location as a guest. During my time there, each and every single time I was greeted by a young and vibrant smiling employee named Alia. She is always delightful when I walk in and always asks how my day is going.Alia makes me want to become a member some day......one day.Thank you Alia !

My local Youfit has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The culture they promote is one of health and personal growth. I am not athletic, never have been but you have to start somewhere. When I walked in to join I said my goal was to start moving. No one pressured me into a certain weight loss or strength training goal. They have simply supported my efforts and encourage me every time I walk in the door. Im very happy there.

I like the gym, but they havent communicated at all through the pandemic. I have no idea when this location is going to be open again. No emails or anything and nothing on social media.

I am going to close my account since theyve been charging all through Covid-19 and have been closed. Thats bull! I just called the number and it says its out of service. I need to stop the withdrawals out of my account. I just saw Walker got a response from YouFit with a number so Ill try that. Hope they answer.

I love the type of equipment. The morning staff is friendly. Crystal is always in good spirits with me and the other 5am goers. It’s also not crowded at 5am so it’s a comfortable place to workout. Only things I wish they had: HIIT/Athletic Training area, a heavy bag for boxing, and one more plate loaded leg press. Other than that, it’s perfect for any level of fitness.

Multiple classes to choose from to get in shape according to your fitness level, great location, non-judge mental members and trainers. Staff is friendly . Gym is clean . One of the things I love is that it’s never super crowded like other gyms can get . The classes are fun and seem to have a lot of positive morale. I also love the music they play. the shower handle did fall off during my shower and a light has been out in the shower stall for a while now . But I’ve also been a member at many gyms before, and sometimes things like that just happen . I’m happy I joined and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable low key gym .

Since the pandemic they have been charging my wife they owe her $ 168 and they told her that in 2 months they would deposit the money in her account and it has been almost 3 months and nothing

I see a lot of people on here claiming they are pushy and try to get you to sign up for training, which is a lie. I do not believe this, I have been coming here for 4 months and nothing or a sort is going on here. For the Person who said they charged you for the training that you did not receive (which I doubt) call the main office. I am very pleased with this gym and they are very reasonable with what they charge and even if you do get training it is not that expensive. Again they are not pushy at all, you have ONE session with them and they assess your profile and offer you training (which you can recline without hassle), that is it!

The female manager at the location on Blanding Blvd is extremely rude and disrespectful to customers. She recently called the police on a customer for no reason and lied and said she was being harassed. This was clearly a case of discrimination and severe power tripping. After reading other comments about this location, either customers feedback is being ignored or this managers actions are being overlooked and condoned by corporate. This lady is out of control and if something isnt done, a lawsuit is bond to happen soon.

This is a very clean and friendly facility. Definitely accommodating. As a college athlete they let me pay only for the months I was using the facility and not the extra money for the whole year. I plan on coming back in the spring. This gym is well equipped and again very clean. Very friendly staff. Good workout environment.

Well it was AWESOME, until today. My son has joined the JROTC and had been with me before here, but SURPRISE. Ms. Malia says, someone wasnt doing there job if your 14 year old got in without ID. Thanks, Ive served my country not be able to assume the responsibility of my child. Thanks Youfit.

This is a small location and has shorter weekend hours than my regular location, but the place is clean and has everything you would expect from the Youfit brand. The staff is also very nice.

The environment was great but the club charged my account when told not to do so until two days later caused my account to over draft not once but twice. They keep calling telling me to pay 50% to stay or leave however, I didnt attend two week after payment was received. Lesson learned never give anyone access to your bank account choose pay as you go! The contact sucks and they dont offer much

Unfortunately this location has only been open about 3 years and its bad enough so many of us that were regulars from the start have left due to mismanagement. Only room they have for classes is unbearably hot which wouldnt be so bad except no air circulation, Plumbing and AC problems, running out of paper towels for days at a time, equipment thats unusable for extended periods of time.When I signed up it was a 24/7 gym but that was changed and guess what it didnt void the contract smhPlanet Fitness has more equipment plus tanning, hydro massage lounger and beds for couple dollars more a month..

This was and still could be a 5 star workout gym.It seemed when it first opened they were 24 hours. Then this gym changed a few days to 24 hours and finally it stopped their 24 hours.Now with Gyms opening up with more offers to gym members, they will have to consider what they could do for their members.Options would be:1.) Go back to 24 hours2.) Even earlier open hours would be nice from: 3:00/4:00 a.m. until...3.) Choose Random days in which they will be open earlier, 12 hours or 24 hours.4.) Get a key swipe on the front doors to know who is entering the building, as they have cameras. Police Station near.5.) Offer discounts to Police Officers who have a station near, if hours change.There are many endless possibilities that this GYM could have in being more successful, than taking things away from their members. It is different from any other gym and even their other gyms with the name YOUFIT.This gym is always clean. The staff is always working with members to better their fitness. Everyone always seems very friendly. The routine clients seems to be familiar and like this environment. Front Desk Host: Crystal seems to know all her members, advocates for them to better themselves in health. She always listens to their concerns as they come in and out. I agree with George and Crystal. My experience with tatted up manager is that her moods seem to coincide with monthly occurrences. When she is nice it seems forced and not genuine. Why I am rating today is because of an experience this week. I had to wait a moment as there was only one person at reception with a new guest. Manager walks out of office and I step up to counter holding up my check in barcode tab to hand to her as I was immediately up to her side of counter, she took the mans tab behind me first, acknowledging and smiling at him. Barely speaking to me or making eye contact. I took tab and set off to work out. I wont be a member much longer to have to encounter her. But why cant we just check in with barcode ourselves? I found a male employees wallet with military ID in parking lot, barely got a thank you. Wouldnt you think he would remember me upon next encounters and at least say hi or wave? Join for the gym not these two staff. Five stars - The place is clean, equipment organized well, and one young lady is very nice and sweet. Zumba instructors are awesome. Equipment and space is extra nice.

Where do i begin! The staff!! The level of professionalism, patience, upbeat words of encouragement!! Always busy yet stop what theyre doing to assist us in any way. My girl Crystal is beyond amazing! Knows when Im down n does whatever she can to lift my hopes n spirit up! The gym is always clean fresh smelling n stocked n ready! I will never ever go anywhere else!! I LOVE YOU YOUFIT!!!!!!!

The staff is friendly. The facility is clean. I dont really enjoy the way some of their staff try and bait you to buy classes from a personal trainer. I dont like the way they call you to ask you to change your survey to a 10/10 if you rate them 8/10, but otherwise this is a good location with reasonable monthly pricing and the $21.99 lime card is worth the pricing. Their HIIT class on Saturdays is especially fun. Zumba is fun too.

I just spent a week out here and I’m really impressed with the level of service and the feel of being welcomed at all the gyms . I would strongly recommend a lime card membership . It’s very different than the other gyms I’ve been too . Even though i worked out for a week the staff made me feel like I was right back home . Hi away homesick blues.

Nice facility with a lot of machine options. I would really like to be able to bring the spray bottles to the machines after working out... I think a lot of people skip the cleaning because its inconvenient.

I attended the Zumba classes with Instructors Kimberly Christopher and Lourdes Morales. They greeted everyone with a smile and hugs. So they made you feel very comfortable. There playlist as well as there dancing was phenomenal. The members came in ready to party and I understand why. They provided so many different genres of music. It was something in the playlist for everyone. I enjoyed every second of them.

The gym is great and Ive enjoyed a full year of membership.However, Paul Hassing has proven himself to be a general manager with little integrity. Ive decided to leave this location and join another gym because of his lack of integrity.

These people are straight frauds! I really enjoyed my membership until I noticed they were debiting my account biweekly for training sessions I was not receiving. When I realized this they refused to refund the money. The manager could only say sorry, like sorry was going to make it better, I want my money back!!!! Front desk lady with dark hair and a bunch of tattoos (later found out shes the manager) is rude and has a nasty attitude.She treated me as if I was a homeless, and was very impatient with language/communication barriers.Didnt let me check in even though I had a membership under my wifes name!The least a professional manager wouldve done was to give a one time exception rather than make a customer go home upset. I bit my tongue however and I wish I had told her off!

The equipment here is meh. But BEWARE about ever being able to cancel. Ive come in twice to cancel my membership and both times they assured me it would be done. But for a year since the second time, theyve continued to withdraw funds. I put a stop payment through my bank and YouFit changed it to a wire withdraw, so they were able to skirt the stop payment. Ive called the location several times, everyone tells me my cancellation paperwork disappeared. I now live at the beach and have to drive back over there for a THIRD time AND give them another $10 to cancel, even though theyve STOLEN easily over $120 from me since failing to complete my last cancellation. I spoke with Terrance at the location just today - he refused to give me the regional managers last name stating thats too personal. I cant give you someones last name. That alone tells me this isnt a new problem with them. It may be $10 a month while you use it, but it ends up costing far more by the time they steal from you for nearly two years after you SIGN the cancellation paperwork!

Great place to get fit. It is never too busy. You never need to wait for a machine or bench. Staff and fellow gym-goers are friendly.

Staff is incredibly professional and friendly. I didnt stick with gyms Ive tried in the past because I found the staff to be rude and/or intimidating. This place is nothing like that. Kevin and Brian (managers) are very accommodating and somehow manage to remember everyones name. Ive been training with a youcoach for the last 3 months and Ive made HUGE progress in my performance. Couldnt even finish a mile on the treadmill at first, now I do a mile just as a warm-up with no problem. I actually enjoy working out now that I know what Im doing and have a sense of direction. The gym itself is very reasonably priced, the coaching is a bit expensive but so worth it. Liz taught me so much, and Kyrsten has been equally helpful. If you feel you never get results when you exercise, its probably because youre doing it wrong. Invest in yourself and let someone show you the right way. You wont look back!

The gym alone is great. They have good equiment, they keep it clean and in good working order, and they offer a good variety of classes. I joined and was very happy for a short time. The problem is the LOUSY managment!!! They offer low prices and PUSH UPSALES! They will pressure you into getting personal training. BUYER BEWARE if you fall for it. They cant keep trainers staffed. The management drives the trainers away. They dont keep many employs over 1 month. They are also either very disorganized or very dishonest. I paid $30 to join a weight loss challenge with a cash prize. I lost a good amount and expected to be in the running for the prize. They kept saying they were still figuring out the winners. A full month later they final told me I did not win, but they would/could not tell me who did or how much the winners lost. It has been 8 months, the winners still have not been announced, but the did have another contest. Needless to say, I did not sign up for that one!

Fraud is the only word to describe this place. Dont care about their consumers, always have entitled attitudes towards members. Will do or say anything to get your money.

Friendliest and cleanest Gym ever......I went to try out this gym cause a few friends told me how much they liked Youfit.I also needed a change-up on my workout. I was cycling 100-120 miles a week and was not getting the results I wanted. I was greeted immediately by a staff member, then given a tour of the gym. Next we discussed membership options. I chose the $19.99 a month plan so I can get discounts, bring friends and also get a free trainer evaluation.On the day of my evaluation I meet with Sarrah Johnson(Personal Training Director).We went thru a few test and questions. She had tons of information to share with me as well that helped me understand my body and how to workout and get results. Also Sarrah showed me a computer simulation of myself now and then entered my goals to show the end result. At the end of that evaluation I signed up to workout with a personal trainers help. They have tons of options on ways to pay for a personal trainer.On the first day with my persona trainer Renee Schnake, we took measurements and weighed in. Then got right to work.Renee has truly stepped my workout game up. She works me to my limits and then a little extra. She is encouraging and tough but in such a great way. I have no doubts that Renee is the best personal trainer and I will reach all my goals with her help.As for the rest of the staff they are all so friendly and always ask how Im doing and do I have and questions. If I have meet them personally they always greet me by using my first name( great memory by the staff).Kevin the general manager is an awesome guy always see him talking with customers and sharing his knowledge of working out. Even on his off days if he his in the gym working out he will still talk to you and make you feel welcome as a friend.As for the cleanliness of the gym it is outstanding. The staff is always wiping down machines and equipment.I hope Youfit continues with all the awesome staff and services they offer for years to come.
