On Saturday, September 4, Sam from Leaf Filter North of Florida came to our house to tell us about the Leaf Filter system. We had seen ads and did some homework. Given our yard and trees, their product seemed to be the best fit for our house. His presentation was impressive, and he made several promises, most notably that the installation process would include straightening the fascia on the front of our carport.Then came the pricing conversation. He first quoted us an outrageous number, before immediately dropping it by half. We still felt like it was too high, so he made an obviously staged and pre-rehearsed call to a colleague before giving us what he called his bottom-dollar price. We later discovered that a neighbor has exactly the same length of gutters as we do (160 feet) and paid $1000 less for her installation.After we called Sam to say we would proceed with the installation, it took several text messages, emails, and un-returned phone calls over more than a week to finally get the contract in writing. After signing the contract, it took several more phone calls over another full week to schedule the installation. Once the office finally answered our call, they wanted to schedule installation for the next day. We agreed and were told that the crew would arrive at 9 AM. They would work for about four hours.The installation team showed up at 8 AM (one hour early) and told us repeatedly that this would be a two-hour job. They were in a hurry the whole time. We pointed out the fascia that the salesperson promised would be straightened. They told us that they didn’t see a way to do what he had promised, and that even if they did, it was outside the scope of their job.When they told us they were finished with the installation, we saw a downspout that had been installed crookedly and off center, and we had to push very hard to get it properly aligned. He wasn’t happy, but finally agreed to do so. He complained repeatedly that this would make him late for his next job, and he had spent too much time on our house already. In his hurry, he only caulked about half of where the spout meets the gutter.Because they were in such a hurry, we didn’t get to check their work from the roof before they left, and you can only see so much from the ground. Immediately after they pulled out, we climbed on the roof. We discovered that the end of one gutter had no mesh. Large gobs of silicon were left in the gutters and will likely impede waterflow, especially since falling leaves attached themselves there before the covers were installed. Several mesh grates don’t quite meet; edges and borders aren’t fully connected. They generally weren’t careful as they drilled and re-drilled holes.We called the office to complain about the open-ended gutter, and it took three tries before someone answered the phone (their voicemailbox has been full for several days). They sent the installer back the same day, but he was obviously unhappy to be here again. We didn’t feel comfortable mentioning the many other things that weren’t installed well, because he was so visibly frustrated.The product looks like it will be mostly successful (we hope), and we are really counting on the lifetime no-clog guarantee. Based on our experiences with the sales and installation teams, we’re not sure how much faith we have in that promise. We are unsatisfied with the poor quality of the installation, lack of professionalism, and overall experience throughout the entire process.

The installer was kind, courteous and professional. We inspected the gutters after install and were satisfied with the installation.

False advertisement, deception and bad service describes Leaf Filter. They falsely claim their product to be “100% maintenance free”. This is not so. After installing their gutter in place of my existing gutters, debris from my roof would collect on top of their “patented”, 100% maintenance free screen just days after this installation. This debris was stopped from collecting in my gutter, but after the first rain, the debris would cause water to roll over my new Leaf Filter gutter and splash all over my wooden porch. I had to climb up a ladder, something they said I would never have to do again, and clear this debris! I am old and in no condition to climb ladders. This gutter was supposed to prevent that from happening! It did not! I was also deceived by their sales person again when he sold me Leaf Filter’s gutters to replace my existing gutters. Come to find out, all they actually had to do was install their screen to my existing gutters! Something they deliberately and conveniently left out for the purpose of increasing the costs! On top of this, Leaf Filter used different contractors to install their gutter on the back of my home. He incorrectly installed their gutter on top of a soffit that was in need of repair. Another deception on their part was that my soffit was good to install the gutter, but after the installation was done the gutter was out of shape and unsupported. This company is only after your money and will refuse to fix any problems they create. I will never recommend Leaf Filter to anyone!

They installed Gutter Shields on our house. Salesman was polite, workers were efficient and work was done in a timely manner. Price was also good.

From a service and customer service perspective, I am very impressed with my recent experience. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable employees are what makes your company far superior than the competition.

We have a huge Magnolia tree in our front yard and our gutters would fill with leaves, seeds, and small branches in a few days. Since we have had Leaf Filter Protection installed we have no issues. The water flows through and keeps EVERYTHING else out! I would definitely recommend these to anyone that is tired of cleaning out their gutters.

I submitted a review on 3/15/2021, which reads as follows: We signed the contract with Sales Rep, Alan R., representing Leaf Filter Gutter Protection, on March 3, 2021 to have leaf filters installed over our existing gutters. Alan did a great job explaining the Leaf Filter product to us. We live in an area that is heavily wooded and have had to get our gutters cleaned out about 3 times a year. Tony and George from Warner Installations, LLC, arrived the very next day, March 4th, and completed the job the same day. They did an excellent job and we are happy with our choice to complete this project. Leaf Filter should be extremely proud to have such great employees who demonstrated professional competence in every step of the job.

I have spoken to the representative from this area (Seth Ware) a week ago and have texted him twice to find out what he is going to do to fix my problem with the existing leaf filter installation. I texted him pictures of the problem and the job number. He is now refusing to respond to my texts and eight days later, still has not sent anyone out to the house to examine the problem. This is NOT a satisfactory solution to ignore a customer.

Not pleased at all ! I was told it was maintenance free, no more cleaning gutters! The only difference now and before, everything piles on top of screens, and is a worse mess that with out the leaffilters. $4500.00 later for 1100 sq ft home, with gutters only on front and back of my home, this company and their product is a joke and falsely advertised what their product does !!!!! Im a senior citizen living on a fixed income and physically unable to maintain this system, only to be told my limited lifetime only covers workmanship for one year. The 3 times they came out, there were no adjustments or alignments done to correct the problem, the only thing that was done was the debris was removed from the top of gutters . I am definitely a fool for falling for this scam!!!

This is the worst thing I could have ever had put on. They just wanted a sale. They did not tell me up front that with metal roof the water would NOW go over my cutters. Have called and called and called still no solution. When I call the head office they get the guy here Jacksonville to call me. They he said he will get back with me THE NEXT DAY. this has happen twice now and he never calls back. I feel they took senior ! shame on them. Maybe they will come get this STUFF

I was very pleased with the serviceRonnie Whisnant, the install manager. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied. The gentlemen installing the gutters were professional and easy to work with.

This company is a complete Joke.They use all subcontractors for their job installs.Send their subs work orders for jobs scheduled to be completed, that in turn have been canceled.So when the sub company buys the materials and goes to do the job just to learn its canceled cannot return the materials and is left out to dry by Leaf Filter.By the way the subs are paid $4 per foot for materials and labor to install your gutter .All Gutter Companies use the same aluminum gutter materials and usually only charge $6 per ft to install Gutters.Leaf filter charges a high premium and ripped off their subcontractors.Bad business .Just wanted to share this with everyone since we just recently got ripped off by them.

This is the worst company concerning gutter work. They cant read a measuring tape. They lied about what they could do on there contract. Then after there incompetent they wanted to put a screen on my gutter for over $919.00. A screen no better than the screens on my windows. I have contacted my two attorneys if i need them. I wont give this company * star.

I had an appointment for 11:00 today. I got there early and waited for the tech to arrive. At 11:12 I still hadnt heard anything from anyone nor seen anyone. I call in and talk to one of the reps and she stated the guy was running 10 minutes behind but she would have the operations manager call me to let me know. At 11:23 I still havent heard from nor seen anyone, so I call back in again and talk with another rep. I explain everything and she said she didnt know what was going on but she could call the tech. At 11:33 I finally left because no one called or showed up. 11:35 I get a call from the tech and he acts like nothing was wrong. I explained my frustration with him and he said it was his fault. This is not how you run a business! DONT waste your time with this company unless you actually want it wasted.

It is a travesty to quote an elderly man over 11,000 for gutter work on his home (saw the quote personally). Then tell him he has three days to change his mind, show up the very next day, do the work and demand payment. This is despicable,

Had an app appointment scheduled for Monday they did a no-call no-show, I called into the company twice talked to a representative there she said that a manager would be back in touch with me I got a call from the sales guy that came out do my estimate on the house because I was supposed to be a promo for demo house where they can show off their no discount that they could give even more than that so all-in-all I would not use this company at all in fact Ive gone to the point to Ive posted a copy of our contract at my work what is a government based in forming people not to use them and if anybody knows how the military works once one gives the bad review and we put it out there no ones going to use them

Supposedly had the system installed while I was overseas. When I returned and climbed up to see the installation, what I saw was totally different from what My wife understood was being installed.I have been trying to get Leaf Filter to return phone calls to the extent I have even called the corporate office in Ohio since the Jacksonville office refused to return call.I would never recommend Leaf Filter to anybody.

This company is a complete rip off and they do not stand behind their product. I had new gutters along with LeafFilter Gutter protection installed. The subcontractors did not know what they were doing and the product had to be taken apart and done by another subcontractor. In addition, one of the gutters was never repaired and I called the company and they sent a representative out who said he fixed it. The gutter is still leaking. In addition, I had to pay to have four of my lanai screens repaired/replaced due to the subcontractors cutting through the screens. The sales representative who I worked with never returned my calls or followed-up. This was a very expensive project and I am completely dissatisfied.

The whole process, from sales Rep, to installers and final payment was effortless! Install was done in one day and when they left I never knew they were there. My gutters were filthy inside; they clean them out and seal it with this 50 year Silicon on all seam and outlets.The best part is this: I shopped around, they were the best product and not the most expensive....And also, the product works and I have never had to clean my gutters since.

We hired LeafFilter to install new gutters on our house. The product is good but the job was incomplete and service after the sale is horrible. Its been weeks and we cannot get anyone to even call us back to complete the work. We keep getting referred to their customer service number which sends you to voice mail.Stay away from this company.

The install time was a lot faster than anticipated without sacrificing quality of rhe job performed, and the two gentleman that installed them Victor and Robert were above and beyond professional, courteous,very informative and went the extra mile to do a few little things that werent asked or required. Great product. Very poor local communication. Workman arrived several times unannounced. Each blamed their ‘boss’ for not calling for appointments. Still have some overflow issues to address.

Been trying to get someone to come out for a service call for over a week due to some installation issues. spoke with Erica at the office multiple times. Nobody has shown up or called to reschedule.

The overall experience has left me once again Leary of marketing/ products in general. The product is fine. The companys communication in house is in serious need of help. I had a pleasure to meet Seth today who came to my house to give a quote. It was refreshing to have someone who did not have a pushy car salesman agenda. He is very knowledgeable about the product that he sells as well as the competitors products. He answered my picky questions patiently. He let me understand what the product looked like, showed its benefits, and gave me his number if I had any questions. I truly appreciate that.

Unfortunately, terrible experience. There was a misunderstanding on scope. Installers were pulled off the job after company admitted to their mistake and realized they could not profit from the job.I will spare the details, but it was bad enough for me to make my first post to google ratings ever.

Although the main service dept. was hopelessly defective in returning calls, the service people when they finally arrived were professional and very tidy. They worked hard in the Florida heat and did a great job.

We met with Seth Ware who was very pleasant and fully explained the Leaf Filter advantages. It’s now two weeks since and the leaves are falling. The Filters are working perfect The install went well and they cleaned up well I recommend Leaf Filter highly you rest assured these guys are skilled and you will get a professionally done job.

The leaf filter product works really well, I must say. My disappointment has everything to do with installation and misinformation. The sales guy who gave the estimate was very friendly and enthusiastic. He took time to work with us and answer all questions. However, what he told us turned out not to be true. A small issue and a big one. The small issue is that he spent a long time in his pitch touting the vetting of their workers, their professionalism, and how well never find another company that trains its workers better; he repeatedly pointed out his LeafFilter attire and suggested that the install team would arrive looking like him. That wasnt the case. In fact, they subcontracted out the work to another company, A+ Gutters, which Rick oddly failed to mention in the 30 minutes he spent talking about his team. I dont particularly care who does the work, but it all felt like a misleading bait and switch. The bigger problem for us is that I asked him specifically about the drip edge. I was afraid that after removing the old gutters, it would have holes and be banged up and look ugly. He pointed to a neighbors house where the gutters were hung high and the drip edge completely unseen inside of them. He promised that I had nothing to worry about. I would never see it. It simply was not true. The installer hung the gutters so low that the ugly, banged up drip edge is glaringly visible. It is a total eye sore, made even more so next to our beautiful new gutters. Im so disappointed about this, and particularly so because I was promised this wouldnt happen. The install manager came out and said there is no way to hang them other than how the installer did, nor could he vouch for or be responsible for what might have been told during the sales pitch. It simply is what it is...which is a problem I have to solve myself now. There were issues with the install,too. The man did not finish the job, and even though I stayed home during the whole window, he simply left without telling me. I had no idea if or when he might return. LeafFilter didnt either, as they were surprised when I called that night about this issue. They treated me with urgency and vowed to get someone out the next morning to finish. I waited,and nobody came that day. When I called again they were shocked and promised the next day, which happened. I was annoyed that I was the one calling them and working this out. I think back to that absolute professionalism and A+ customer service that was heralded in the sales pitch. Thats wonderful when you deliver, but a huge issue when you set expectations so high for your customer and significantly fail to meet them. The product is engineered well and will keep everything out of your gutters. Its great. But we are left disappointed by everything else involved. If you have specific install questions like I did, wait and ask the install manager to come out before signing the contract. There is no guarantee that what you are told in the sales pitch is correct, according to the specifics of your home.

I just had an awesome appointment for gutters and leaf filters with Seth and Dustin. They showed up promptly at their appointed time. These two gentlemen were very efficient when measuring my home for gutters. Once the measurements were completed and Seth began explaining Leaf Fitters products, when I had any questions he was very patient when answering. There was no heavy pressuring to purchase this product, but with either a 50 year or lifetime warranty, depending on the purchase, how can you resist gutters that are all one piece instead of multiple pieces.Thank you very much for your time and consideration of my wishes.

I researched gutter screen options and determined LeafFilter was the best solution. They responded very quickly to my online request for a quote and provided even faster installation. It only took one day to have the entire gutters around the house rehung with the LeafFilter brackets and all the screens attached. Im very thankful I will not have to go on the roof any longer to blow out the leaves prior to big rain events and that they have a full warranty so that if I ever have any problems they will come out and correct them. The screens I installed just werent doing the job. After the installation the rains came, the winds blew but neer a pine needle was either atop the screen or sticking in the screen

Mess ups happen. No one is perfect i get it. But they did a great job. The minor issue i called on ( one piece looked a little crooked) they came back next day no questions and fixed it right away. Definently worth every penny. Nice knowing theres a life time warranty on damage and reliability. Love the fact i NEVER have to clean my gutters again! I have a ton of oak trees in yard also. So its a multi time per year job. They also reinforced and realigned my gutter in some areas whereit needed correction before install was done.nice.

Gracious professionalism, thorough presentation, and a quality solution to a problem was necessary, and that is exsactly what I received during my inspection & subsequent installation with Seth Ware. Living in Historic Clifton we have water oaks galore, with them come small gutter clogging leaves and pollen, then come the mosquitoes from the pooled water. LeafFilter will not only stop the constant battle for proper drainage but it will also bring an end to the stagnant water. I couldnt be more relieved at the solution. Ill be telling everyone I know!

Seth Ware from leaffilter came to do an estimate on my home today, and I received excellent service and pricing. Due to the recent installation of permanent LED lights on my home we decided to wait a season and revisit proceeding with any installation until we were sure of proper application. What I appreciate most about Seth and this company was his honesty and guidance and the no pressure approach. Should I move forward with a gutter cover solution this will be the company I work with.

Keeping my gutters clean is important and at 67 I do not care for getting high up on a ladder. Living in the Long Leaf Pine forest area of WILLISTON, Florida the gutter protection is critical. Our appointment today with Dustin Wood was great. He was very knowledgeable and informative about gutter systems. He walked us around after he inspected our gutters and pointed out areas that we didn’t notice were being damaged by water caused by clogged gutters and our existing gutters. He then throughly explained the purpose and importance of having gutters on your home. After he educated us on the subject, he then explained the design of the leaffilter gutter protection, what makes it different than all other gutter protections, and even demonstrated exactly how it works to us using our kitchen sink. After our experience with Dustin we can understand why leaffilter is the largest and #1 gutter protection in America. We are excited for our new gutter system!
