I was at the grocery store yesterday morning, standing in the cleaner isle with my husband and we were talking about a spot on my wall that looked as if mold was growing. I asked my husband if he thought bleach would clean the mold. The lady next to me in the isle said it wouldnt and started talking to me about the company she works for. Long story short she offered to come by and take a look at the spot, because we are leaving to go out of town today and will be gone for a week. She followed us to our home, and I showed her the area of concern to me. She looked at the area and told me that she is sure it isnt mold, its a high traffic spot, asked if we had children I told her yes 2. She says I have two children as well, and no matter how often I ask they will not stop touching my walls. She also advised me she just painted her place a dark color for the same reason. I was still a little concerned she said we could cut a small area of the drywall and look and see if there was any kind of growth behind it. We decided to do that, and thankfully there was nothing behind it. She also offered to patch the area for us. I asked her how much for her coming over and taking a look. She said it was free of charge, just to call us if we ever have a need. She was absolutely the sweetest person. If all of your employees are as generous as she is, then this is the company to go with. I will call them if I am ever in need. Thanks again Samantha we really appreciated your generosity.

I had the opportunity of working with PuroClean Emergency Services this year when mold developed in my storage closet at the property that I own. They provided timely service and were willing to work with me on the payments so all of it did not have to be paid at one time. They also worked with me regarding when the final payment was due. I found PuroClean on the Better Business Bureau site with a 5 plus rating and gave them a call. Samantha was very helpful and though they were busy, the general manager came to give me an estimate. He arrived on time and gave me the estimate by afternoon on the same day. Unfortunately Hurricane Irma came within days. My issue was pre Irma. Even though Samantha was busy she kept me in the loop and now my estimate and insurance are working together thanks to Samanthas quick work. Although no work has been done yet, I feel I am being treated very well by Samantha and PuroClean. I am sure the technicians who do the work will do an excellent job.

I have been meaning to tell everyone how impressed I am with the service I have received from your company. Back on March 1st I came at 9 pm with my kids after my Sons Baseball Game. We had been gone for about 4 hours at that point. Needless to say somehow one of our toilets sprung a leak and there was water in almost every room of my house. Many of my things were soaked. Kids games, toys, furniture, electronics etc. After working a full day and shuffling my kids around that afternoon that was the LAST thing I needed to deal with. I immediately Burst into Tears. I made a phone call to your Company and spoke with a Shelia Tinsley. She was very knowledgeable and quickly put a plan into action for me. She sent out Steve Thomas to my house, he was there a little before 11 pm and started with the cleanup process. He was there for house on end making sure everything was getting taken care of properly. He had a wonderful way of making a terrible situation into a decent one. Shelia and Steve checked back in here an there over the next few days and weeks to make sure everything was back on track for us. I really appreciated their Help and even more their Smiles during a very difficult time.

When I called the office to get an estimate on water damage, they were very professional & pleasant in scheduling the inspection. I came upon a road block working with my insurance company to approve this repair and Samantha was very instrumental in helping me with calling & following-up with my claim adjuster to get our mold testing approve & the remediation work to be approve. I have been working with PuroClean Emergency Services since last October. All the employees have been professional. This review is for one special employee, Samantha Scott. She has been working with me and the insurance company to close me account for months. Samantha professionalism was wonderfully refreshing when I was having a hard time with this whole matter. PuroClean has a very valuable employee with Ms Scott.If I need emergency services in the future I will call your company.

Edward DeLeon needs a raise or promotion. We had a leak that was discovered and our apartment complex brought in a different restoration company that had faulty equipment and didnt test anything that they should be testing. In fact at the end (the apartment didnt want to pay the fee to keep equipment on site anymore) they pulled the dehumidifier that were being used and said its bone dry, i asked him to show me he said we take pictures and proceeded to try and show me a picture of his scanner which was TURNED OFF and didnt think I would notice. It was not bone dry it was showing dashes instead of a number and I said to him wouldnt that show a percent of some kind when you test and wouldnt it light up like it normally does he looked very worried and proceeded to retest. It pulled above 16% which I know their certification requires them to act upon. They still pulled the unit so I called these guys to ask what the regulations were. He told me that 16% is technically a cut off point where they could say it could dry out but its highly unlikely and unethical and they should wait til 9% which is in the green. He said it would be $150 to check it but then after I told him the whole story how they were trying to pull a fast one Edward said you know what let me come check this for you solely because he was worried what these people may be subjecting my family to. When he came out immediately I saw how much more thorough he was on the job vs the other company. He checked the air (other place didnt do that) all my vents (other place didnt do that) walls all over my home (other place didnt do that, and in the source of the leak found it to be in the red OVER 16% in fact over 20%! Once I get his quote I am going straight to the office with it to demand it properly be resolved or we will sue to be released from the lease. This is just one issue of many we are having with the slum lords and I cant thank Edward enough for what he has done. He explained everything and made sure I was aware of any issues. Night and day difference from the other guys. I would not use a different restoration company in all of Jacksonville from this day forward. If you are reading this and comparing companies right now CHOOSE PUROCLEAN! I am in no way affiliated with them nor was I asked to leave this review. I usually complain about companies in reviews. This is likely one of a couple, if not the only, positive reviews I have ever left and that is for a reason. 100% recommend them! If you read these thank you so much Edward, you are a stand up guy!

After waiting for months for my insurance company to pay for the services Puroclean did for us they didnt pay the claim. I had a balance that was higher than I could pay in one shot. After speaking to Samantha she said she would try to work something out for me, she called me the next day after getting approval from Wayne the owner to do a payment plan. We had a leak behind our built-in refrigerator that did not let its presence known until our lanai pavers started showing moisture. We tracked it down and found a split refrigerator water/ice maker hose. Brian Kennedy came out the day before Thanksgiving and had to give us bad news that the lower cabinets were holding water and that they need to be removed immediately. Brian placed an industrial dehumidifier in our kitchen during his initial visit to start the mitigation. Brian and the other PuroClean technicians were awesome every step of the way, and all damaged material has been removed. Rebuild was completed by Mastercraft Builders Group and all contractors that worked on our home repair were awesome. No question about who we would call in the future if the need arose!

Puroclean responded quickly to my call, late in the day regarding an ongoing water leak discovered in a vacant condominium. Keith was very professional and helpful. He also coordinated with other contractors necessary to complete the job and made the process understandable to myself and unit owners.

A Thanksgiving nightmare:A pipe broke in our bathroom while my wife and I were out having dinner with friends and flooded the hallway and the dining room. Water got under the walls towards the pantry and laundry areas as well. There was water all over the wood floor and carpets. We were able to shut the water off and contain the flooding but I was really worried about the damage. Then PuroClean came recommended by the insurance company (Epic) to work on the water damage. They installed their equipment and after 3 days they got all properly dry. They installed dehumidifiers and air movers, measured moisture on floors, walls and carpets with electronic devices and came each day to readjust the equipment as necessary. They used infrared cameras to detect moisture as well which I found pretty neat. Other than the noise and heat produced by the equipment, it worked perfectly. Sylvester Krzykalski and his team did an awesome job. They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them to anybody in need of water damage restoration.

I would not hire this company simply based on the jerk behind the wheel of their vehicle driving down 9B and the East 295 beltway heading north on Thursday, September 19 between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. Great overall experience with PuroClean! I called PuroClean for a second opinion on questionable mold and moisture in the wall and Sheila Tinsley, Veteran USN was over in under an hour to assess. The first company to come was eager to take advantage of us, rip us off and take our money, but Sheila went above and beyond and took the approach of educating and explaining to us what needed to be done and why vs trying to sell us on unnecessary services to resolve the issue. After her assessment, Sheila came back the next day to make sure everything was still going well and that the issue was being resolved, helped clean the area, and suggested a company for AC duct sanitization/cleaning that we needed done who also did a great job for a fair price. Hands down, would recommend PuroClean to everyone!

A pipe burst in my upstairs of my house and i had water pouring from my ceiling and all over my house. Within 1 hour of making the call to PuroClean Ed and his guys were here assuring me everything would be taken care of. They were excellent, very professional and on top things. They immediately vacuumed up as much water as they could before spraying antimicrobial to help ensure I had no mold growth. They then placed several industrial sized fans and de-humidifiers to help dry up the rest of the water. Ed came by every day to check on the drying progress and to check in with me and make sure there had been no issues. I cannot say enough positive things about this business, they saved my house and my sanity.

My house was badly burned and the fire department probably did more damage than the fire! Puroclean came in and stripped out all the drywall, ceilings, flooring etc. They were very prompt and professional. Came home from work to a busted hot water pipe that had been leaking for a few hours. These guys got out here within an hour and as I write this, 2 days later, the drywall and carpet are completely dry! Theyre fast, courteous, and professional. After having a bad experience with another drying service, I can say that I trust these guys fully to get the job done the way Id want it done.Anecdotally, about a year ago I had a situation with a smaller leak that another local company responded to. This other company immediately cut up my (then brand new) carpet and drilled holes in the drywall, adding several thousand to the insurance claim. Incidentally, that company words their agreement in such a way that they receive your insurance money directly, even the money you would receive for a rebuild - meaning youre locked in with them for the rebuild.No such gimmicks with PuroClean. Their agreement is straightforward, clear, and very narrowly tailored to their service!

I had ceramic tile removed in my home. It was a terrible mess. I hired two different cleaning companies before finding Puroclean. Puroclean got the job done right. The crew was managed by Sevan and also included Samantha, Renee and Trey. They all worked extremely hard and were committed and diligent. A very informative, professional, courteous and team cheerful ( put up with me).When I say the cleaned everything surface and all household contents, I mean everything. Many of my friends would agree that I can be difficult to please, at times. That being said, this company is awesome! After an incompetent contractor left a portion of my roof open and exposed to one of the rainiest days in Orange Park, we didn’t know where to turn to clean up the damage. Both our insurance agent and our insurance company suggested PuroClean for the job, and we couldn’t be happier that we took their advice. They came to the rescue on more than one occasion while we waited for the roof to be fixed right (did I mention that we had an incompetent contractor??). Thanks guys!

Dwayne and his team were the bright spot in a miserable situation. Our townhouse flooded on the 2nd floor and water was seeping through the vents, ceiling and lighting. The water caused the the paint and eventually the ceiling to collapse in the middle of the living room. Dwayne and his team got to our unit quickly, started work IMMEDIATELY and had everything cleaned out and dried within a few days. Exceeded my expectations.On an even more important note, I felt like Dwayne and team really cared about my familys well-being. He explained the process to me, gave me daily updates and even packed / secured my stuff that was left out in the damaged area, not to mention made sure that my dogs were happy with a bag of treats!In an emergency situation like this involving insurance and property management companies with your family being displaced, what you remember is the human touch and compassion. I congratulate Dwayne and team on being a model of success when it comes to managing these types of situations and making us feel respected and at ease.

We recently had water/mold damage in our kids bathroom. We made three phone calls to set up quotes. All three of the contractors were professional, but Puroclean was a step above the rest on the phone. They even had connections for bathroom restoration, from a third independent party. My son was at home when each contractor came by to give an estimate. Of the three contractors, my son was really impressed with Puroclean and the bathroom restoration estimator that they brought with them. I thought wow, thats two for two. Puroclean was the middle price, but because of their professional mannerisms, experience, and knowledge level presented on the phone and in person we went with them. As we went through the mold remediation process we ended up removing more material than expected. Before that happened Puroclean called me first for approval. Afterwards they showed me the material that was removed and I was glad they took it all out. What was amazing is that Puroclean wanted to show me, it was an integrity thing and a courtesy. They wanted to show me all their efforts everyday when I got home from work. They were really new their stuff. Not only did they quickly respond, but they were punctual everyday and professional in appearance. On top of that, since some areas were more dry then originally thought, they removed the cost for the additional humidifiers. To be honest I would not have known the difference. I was so impressed with the professionalism and the time Puroclean took to answer all of my questions over the phone, I wanted to know who this face of Puroclean was. The representatives name was Ed (first name only for privacy purposes), a retired Navy veteran, who lives in the Jacksonville area. I share this cause I am a reasonable service kind of guy. Meaning, if you sign up for something, then I expect you to do it without accolades for doing your job. However, in this case, the level of service was so impressive I just had to right this post. Thank you Ed for making my disaster into a brighter side.

So far a great experience. JEA gave me the opportunity, ahem, to utilize Purocleans services when the main sewer lines became backed up and flooded my master bath, bedroom and closet with less than desirable contents. However, JEA did call these guys who showed up ASAP. From the start, both Ken and Steve were consummate professionals. Explaining everything that was going g to occur from demolition to expected rebuild (from other contractors). Trish and Leroy, the main technicians, were hard at it all afternoon into the evening, with Steve right alongside. Dehumidifier, germicidal solution in place after day one and Im glad they were the ones who JEA called. Looking to the days ahead to have my bed and bath back. Thanks to puroclean! Highly recommend.

The technician evaluated the problem promptly and determined that we needed a few fans installed. He reviewed with us the price of the fans and mentioned he could save us money by not revisiting our home daily but never provided an estimate. Unfortunately, thats when things started to go downhill not with the equipment but with the company itself. When we got the bill for the service, it showed a service fee of $120, which one is used to when you use contractors. But on top of that, the franchise charged us an hourly fee for time the technician wasnt on site. The technician was on site for about an hour and a half tops and we were charged for 4.5 hours.When we confronted the franchise owner about this, they told us that the billing was for travel time (apx 30 mins each way). We we asked for clarification, they then said it was actually for an emergency service even though we never said we were in an emergency state and could have waited another day. After stating that it was never an emergency, he just went back to a previous state that this was just industry standard for insurance companies to pay and thats just the way it was going to be even though we were a cash customer.Because we were dissatisfied for this practice, he offered to discount the price by 5% or apx $30 and said if we didnt pay it in full, he was going to refer us to his lawyer and make us pay legal fees.All in all, it was a good experience with the technicians quality. The main issue for my poor review was that there was never a written estimate telling us of their hidden fees.

I do not normally post reviews due to my tedious work schedule; however after reading this I am APPAULED, I had to respond!!!! I have been doing business with Puroclean and Wayne Terry for approximately 5 years. ALL of my clients referred to them have been nothing but satisfied. I can give you 15-20 client jobs that we have referred over the last year (Im certain that they would agree if asked) showing proof that their reputation supercedes that of most emergency restoration companies in the entire state! Puroclean has a few franchises in the Jacksonville and surrounding areas, this one is by far the best; service and customer service wise. On a personal level I had a very large claim in my own home in 2011. Being that I did business with Wayne in the past for customers, I felt comfortable calling him to do the job at my home. They went above and beyond what you would expect from a normal company. I am a mother of 4 children and during this time, 3 of them were home during the summer. Being that I have girls, my concern for contractors being there while they were home alone was very high. Knowing this, Mr. Terry allowed his project manager stay at my home during the time the contractors were there doing work. Being that I knew his technicians and have done business with them, this lifted a huge level of stress during an already stressfull situation. To me this just goes to show you what kind of person he is and that he truly cares about his customers! Please ***DISREGARD*** the above review and ask the company personally to see the hundreds of wonderful reviews they have! Google is always a good place to search but not for EVERYTHING! Sometimes you have to actually go to elsewhere to find truth!

Sheila Tinsley is a rockstar! She is a veteran and she helped Mr. Wesley who is also a veteran with a mold issue in their bathroom. I cant recommend Sheila highly enough, she really came through for this elderly couple. Thank you, Sheila!

I gladly recommend this water damage restoration company! They did great work clearing out drywall from my basement in preparation for a project to reduce the risk of future flooding. The job was done as estimate presented, fast and thorough.
