(Tampa)I picked up the vehicle on 7/21/21 after driving it for 1 minute I came back to Easirent and told Andi that all these lights where coming on and that it was unsafe to drive the vehicle. He proceeded to say thats normal and that it should be fine. The next day I try to turn on the car and it would not start. I called your customer service many times and no one would answer. I couldnt use the vehicle. I kept trying to contact your customer service number and also the rental place and the only solution I was offered was to bring the vehicle back. The vehicle didnt want to start till Saturday. I cant believe your company had us drive this unsafe vehicle! Then we got a swap. I would like a full refund at this time. A thank of Gad is worthless for all the inconvenience you put me and my wife through! The refund is the least that can be done!This vehicle had tons of mechanical issues and was unsafe to drive. They put our safety at hand. The only thing was we will give you a tank of gas. Unbelievable. Do not rent from this company.

Fine car, inexpensive. Off-site, so not as convenient as cars at the airport, which is the reason for 4/5. If you are on a budget and dont mind waiting a bit for your car, choose EasiRent, otherwise pay more for a car at the airport.

Very adversarial experience. TOTAL BAIT & SWITCH. Very misleading. (The quoted rental price was not actually the final price) They insisted that they were LEGALLY required to see my proof of liability insurance, and if I couldnt produce it, they legally were bound to sell me their policy. They quoted liability $15/day...but after all of their fees it was $30/day and that didnt include collision. Their claim that they legally were required to see proof of Liability in Florida is a FALSEHOOD. Its an out and out lie, as I confirmed after the fact.

I had some concerns about pricing and insurance charges, but the customer service provided by Brandon during check in and shoutout to Bria during my return caused me to give the business five starts. Be sure to read the fine print and call if you have any questions, but if you get the pleasure of meeting these employees; they’ll take good care of you!

When my flight was delayed Bria stayed over a half hour past closing time to make sure I got my rental car. When my flight was cancelled on the way back, Francy made sure I didn’t get charged for a late return on the car. They are easy to get on the phone and there was never a long line. Shuttle system from the airport was easy. The car was immaculate. Thank you so much easirent!!

I have to start saying that I chose this company because it looked more affordable than the others. We arrived to the office in Jacksonville, FL and first, the agent was super hostile person and second the price increased by insurance coverage by $60 a day which to me is and exceeded amount, secondly refused to pay with a different credit car neither accept my Insurance that cover my rental. He didn’t accept an email from my insurance company proving I have insurance. They do t have any notice in the web explaining that you could bring your own insurance. Er end up paying much more than other offers. We will never rent from this people again. Read all the policies before renting from this company

If I could give them zero stars I would. The 5 star reviews are clearly bought or fake, I BEG of you please listen to all the 1 stars and just go with a legit car rental company. I promise you will end up saving money, our rental for 3 days was $150, we prepaid, and then when we got there they made us pay another $150 effectively doubling it!!! The tire was also low on pressure, we brought it up and they told us not to worry about it. It got so low we had to pay to get it filled. It definitely could have popped while we were driving and we could have gotten hurt. When we returned it the guy was absolutely clueless and zero help. Ive gone to their website and clicked Manage Booking but I doubt I will get any assistance beyond them replying to this review so it APPEARS like they are willing to help.

Although I encountered friendly staff, this company really does the bait and switch with their pricing. When searching for a rental, its considerably cheaper than the other car rental places in the airport. However, once you get to easirent, they charge all these extra fees that are not originally included when you book online. Its very misleading and made me just want to rent from a well known company at the airport since they show you what you are paying for online ahead of time.This company does not offer the option to add for collision insurance online so when you get to easirent, they charge another $200 or more in insurance fees on top of what you paid to rent the car initially. Plus a security deposit of $250 or more that they say is refundable. Even if you have your own car insurance that you may want to apply for your rental, somehow you end up paying extra.You also have to take their shuttle bus from the airport to get to easirent which takes almost half an hour to arrive. It may be better to just get a rental from the airport honestly.

Do NOT waste your time! I rented my car for 2 nights and while the process was seamless Bria. She failed to provide me with information on tolls. I am now being charged $50 for tolls which is more than my car rental fee. I called the office and spoke to Frank or Franki and he was not helpful. He didnt know the company that would charge the toll and didnt want to be on the phone so he put me on hold and hung up. This was my first and LAST time with Easirent. Its interesting Bria was persistent with me completing the survey before I returned the vehicle. Never ever again! I dont even know who Fox Tolls and Fines is but all I was given from my credit card company was they are based in Florida. Do not be fooled!

Charles hooked us up. Very quick, easy rental. A shuttle picked us up at the car rental location of the airport and brought us here to an offsite location for a daily rental (every other place had a 3day minimum rental policy). Very satisfied.

Easirent has terrible customer service. First, the website charged my cc without confirming my booking. Then when I called customer service, the rep had no way to confirm my cc was charged and told me to call my bank. Took a debit card to hold without explaining the $70 charge they were about to hit us with. Told us they couldnt void the transaction and take a credit card. Told us if we canceled the whole thing we wouldnt get our money back since we prepaid online ($250). Did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation except upgrade us to an altima that reeked of cigarette smoke. Avoid this company like the plague and just book with enterprise, hertz, or someone more reputable.

This company DO NOT deserve 1 star..For starters, we flew into Jacksonville on 8/1/21 and waited 45 Minutes to be picked up. It was so bad the flight attendant had to call and text 3 times, that we were waiting. Get to Wally Park location, I had to produce my insurance info to Easirent….Who on vacation is walking with their insurance information???? To top it off, there was NO manager on site to assist and ONLY ONE staff working the counter. While trying to get my insurance company to text my info, EVERY customer who walked into Easirent had the Very Same problem. VERY POOR customer service and NO ability to resolve issues. PLEASE NOTE if you book through their website You CAN NOT get a refund. Add insult to injury, they charge a $17.00 airport tax. THEY ARE AN OFF SITE Location. Oh, wait I forgot, then we were told I couldn’t leave to the state of Florida. I then had to pay an additional $11.99 per a day. What a rip-off!!!NEVER AGAIN!!!! Mrs. Harding

One star is more than they deserve. Francky is the person who is very rude at the counter. We arrived to a empty building and waited 30 minutes before Francky came in. His clothes were dirty and did not look professional. We were told on the phone we had unlimited miles but to get the car we had to pay 25 dollars a day extra for unlimited miles. We arrived at the rental place with reservations that we had paid for and when my husband had tried to come to the defense of a fellow patron we were told we were rude and the agent, Porsche, would not rent to us. We asked to speak with a manager. After a phone out of earshot and a walk around the building we were told that the manager was not available to speak with us. When we said that we would wait till the manager was available we were told they didnt want to speak with us and that if we didnt leave she would call Jacksonville Sheriff Office to remove us. She also said that she lied to the people in front of us because he didnt want to rent to them. In addition we had reserved a Fiat, and a Nissan Versa was what had been waiting for us. If it was possible to give a review to run the other direction I would!

The fine print on rentals are very inconvenient. It is not an easirent experience. The catch to cheap cars are all the info they ask for. Booking thru expedia is a 5-6 hour wait to speak with anyone live. Call back service does not return calls until 12 hours later. Mayhemmmmm

On August 2nd I reserved an Economy Vehicle. On the night of pick up I was told there are no more vehicles except SUVs (upgrade) which I was charged an additional $10 per day when I should have never been charged due to your company not having the car I reserved. Not only did I HAVE to pay for the upgrade ($40) I was also charged a $250 deposit which is not mentioned on the site. The young lady brought out an Blue Santa Fe full of Smoke which made me sick ( Im a chronic Asthmatic ), there was no windshield fliud, the oil hasnt been changed in a while ( very low and BLACK), the vehicle tires were dangerously BALD, damages were overlooked because it was 9:30 p.m, and to make matters WORST the truck had ROACHES crawling in it. On the 7th I took the vehicle back letting them know of all the issues and requested to speak w/management. Franky J who I must say is very RUDE and has a I DONT CARE ATTITUDE, switched me to another vehicle which was a little better until I needed to use my GPS and the dash screen didnt work at ALL. I ended up renting another vehicle from ACE and returned the vehicle back in less than a half hour. Went back in and requested a refund due to both vehicles having issues. Franky said I shouldve came back and he would have given me another vehicle. I said I dont want a 3rd vehicle that has problems I just need a refund. Franky J said I will not get a refund for early cancellation and I advised because your vehicles have major issues I dont want 3rd car with problems just refund my money and he said they don’t do that. Franky J as a manager need to know how to treat customers. I filed a complaint to compliant to BBB, attached are some pictures taken of the 1st vehicle that was given on my arrival date. Funny thing is the site states the car are LUXURIES and NEW 😵🥴****DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE IN JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA****

Me and my girlfriend reserved online through kayak and having read the reviews for this place arrived an hour early to make sure there were no problems and when we arrived and literally watched them give away our reservation. We were behind a black couple in line who didn’t have a reservation and literally heard them say that it was their last car. When it was my turn in line I told them I had a reservation and an extremely rude black woman told me I should have gotten there earlier and that reservations aren’t set in stone. I didn’t get a car and they kept the money I put down and when I called to complain they had put down that I hadn’t showed up!! Luckily I started recording everything when they Gave away our reservation here but I still haven’t gotten my money back

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. These people are a bunch of scammers. I rented from this place July 22nd for two days told the guy that I was going to Virginia which was far from Jacksonville. I was charged an out of state fee for this. I was told by franky that I would see that security deposit in about a week. I’ve been calling customer service and getting the run around until finally they told me I wasn’t getting that deposit back since I went over the mileage when I told franky that I was going out of town that’s what prompted the out of state fee. This place is not a place you want to rent from they are scammers.

I arrived 2hours early, and was told it should be $50 extra to pick up early. The kind franky said he could make it work for free so I wouldn’t have to come back. Thank you Easirent!

Rented a car through rentalcars.com got easy rent as our rental company. Price was good, when we showed up at the airport in Jacksonville Florida there was no easy rent at the airport. Even though they said that it was an airport location. Nobody told us about taking the Wall-E bus over 4 miles away off the airport site to the location of EZ rent. When we arrive there they had only one car it was very small it wasn’t what we wanted and we had to take the Wall-E bus back to the airport and rent from another company

Hands-down the worst car rental experience I have ever had. Beware, this is not a legit car rental company, but is some kind of bait-and-switch scam. I reserved a car here through Priceline, but upon arriving they didnt have the car. Isnt that the point of a reservation? They did, however, have a nicer car for twice the price. How convenient! I called Priceline and a representative called the counter. When the gentleman from Priceline identified himself to the Easirent representative he was hung up on. Priceline called back three times and was ignored every time. It is easy to see their MO... they take reservations for cars at good prices and then when you arrive they claim they have no cars left at that price. If a real car rental company has no cars available in that class they just put you in a nicer car because it is their fault. Not Easirent. Total bait-and-switch. Total scam. Read the other reviews and you will see this is not an isolated incident. Please avoid this company!Note to Owner : Please dont leave a reply telling me to contact customer services through the manage my booking link on the Easirent website. Either reply to my specific comments telling me how you are going to stop this scam youre running, or dont reply at all.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I booked this car via Orbitz and prepaid. The day of our trip our plane was supposed to depart at 8:15am. Unfortunately, it was delayed and we did not leave until 12pm, missing our connecting flight and ended up with a 6 hour lay over. We did not reach Jacksonville until 8pm. Here is where it got frustrating. I contacted Easirent and told them about our situation. They close at 6pm and were not willing to have someone stay for us to pick the vehicle. I stated that I would need to cancel the reservation and book with another company. The associate told me I would have to contact Orbitz to do so, ok no big deal. So I called Orbitz, they cancelled the reservation, but stated it was non-refundable. Obviously I was not happy about this and was told I would have to call the rental car company. I called Easirent again, spoke to Frank, and was told he can do nothing and it was all up to Orbitz. When I started to voice my frustration he stated he had a customer in front of him and needed to put me on hold, he never picked back up. I called Orbitz back and this time they stated they had to get a wavier from the rental company saying it was ok to issue a refund, several days went by and Orbitz e-mailed me stating they had attempted to contact Easirent with no success. I called Easirent again, and again was told they could do nothing by a different associate and was again put on hold due to a customer being present. Very frustrated at this point I reached out to Orbitz again and this time they were able to get in touch with Easirent and a refund was issued. Total it took 6 days to resolve the issue. How can a rental company refuse to refund you for a vehicle you never used? I will never use this rental service again. We were able to rent a car from Enterprise with absolutely no issues, great service, and not much of a price difference.

Horrible!!!! The worst customer service. We rented a car and when we came to pick it up they were unable to give us one. Stating nothing available nd could not drop off at a different locaton... then why allow a reservation. They also didn’t clean the car prior to giving it to the couple in front of us. I saw one family drop it off and another one get in with no one cleaning in between. Never again!

I want to start by saying that the reviews are not lying. I rented a car this weekend, and most of the things that I experienced, I had seen here on the reviews. The car tags are expired, no registrations inside the car, I experienced a flat tire, and when I went to change the tire there was not a spare tire or jack. I had to pay for someone to replace the tire in order to get back to the airport. I had to wait over two hours to get a car that I prepaid for earlier in the week. Every time you call the manage was on a corporate meeting, now we know that corporate is not local and they are in the UK. As everyone has stated the issues are real with this company and something needs to be done about the disregard for customers safety. I was traveling by myself, what I had broke down on the back roads of Georgia, this is inconsiderate of them to treat customers this way. I took photos of the vehicle when I returned it because I did not want them to say that there was something wrong with it once returned.

This place is horrible they do not answer calls, they are lazy. They make you hold on the phone for 30 minutes then the phone finally rings and no one answers. PLEASE DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS SERVICE THEY ARE HORRIBLE RENT FROM ENTERPRISE BECAUSE ENTERPRISE ALWAYS ANSWER THE PHONE AND THERE IS NO WAITING AROUND.

Im honestly one of those people who do not leave reviews, but I feel compel to warn others to NOT rent a car from Easirent. They are crooks. I have rented cars from car rental places before and have never had to call my insurance company in front of them to verify insurance, be charged an extra fee on top of what I was charged and billed for online, and be bamboozled to pay extra money for a second driver. If you are in the Jax area, please just keep driving until you get to the Jax Airport and rent a car from a more reputable rental service.

This place is trash! The people who pretend to work at this place are trashy. We reserved two weeks ahead of time and everything was set and ready we called to make sure we wouldn’t have any problems, and then we get there and they say that we have to make another reservation and we need to put down a cash deposit.. The people who work there were extremely confrontational and unhelpful. Both my husband and I I’m extremely polite and very understanding people but they took every opportunity to be rude and acted as though we were intruding. I will never rent a vehicle from this company again I suggest you do the same.

No social distancing in the office. One member checking you in did not wear a mask. Everyone leaving the office is upset by the time they leave. Not customer friendly. The women in the office is very nice she did try.This is the only time I rented a car I needed proof of my auto insurance. Be prepared as we saw several people leave mad and upset.

They gave us a car with a huge crack in the windshield and when we went back in to get a new one we were told they would do us the favor and change it seeming completely unbothered about the state of the car. Next one we get appears to be half cleaned and has expired tags, when we asked about that we were told oh you won’t get pulled over for that here if you do just say it’s a rental. No employees were wearing masks either despite signs that said masks were required. I would give it zero stars if I could, we have learned our lesson and will never be renting here again and recommend if you need a rental to look elsewhere.

I worst experience ever the do not know about customer service the gay in the front desk is like you talk with a ghost dont do nothing about a your car reservation and for the local customers dont give you unlimited miles because they say that you can still the car what!!!!!! i never feel so so frustrate make lost time and money
