I highly recommend Terry Vereen Plumbing. They replaced all the drain pipe in 2 bathrooms and kitchen all the way to the city sewer connection. I had 60 year old cast iron pipes that needed to be replaced because they were badly corroded. Terry Vereen Plumbings price was comparable to other plumbers and they did a phenomenal job. The concrete cutters who they subcontracted also did a great job cutting into the foundation and then pouring the concrete back after the pipes were installed. Overall, they were professional, knowledgeable and they did a great job.

Had Terry Vereen plumbing out to swap out some water fixtures. Ron came out and took great care of us. Replaced two fixtures, cleaned up, sealed them in and let us know when it would be safe to get water around the caulk line. We have used them in the past for a whole house re-pipe, new construction installation of all pipes and fixtures and new water heater installation. These guys are great, won’t call anyone else.

We recently bought an older house and started having plumbing issues. After having 3 plumbers come by and not fix the issue, we were given the recommendation to give Terry Vereen a call. Im so glad we did! The lady I spoke to on the phone, also named Tabitha, was very nice and was able to give me some rough estimates over the phone. Ive noticed a lot of places wont do that for some reason. I had a lot of questions and she didnt mind answering them. When the team of 2 came out, they listened to the issues we had an immediately figured out what the problem was. They were very quick, efficient, and polite. Fixed the clog and repaired the shower overflow pipes that werent attached from the previous owners.

Terry and his crew always do a fantastic job. Ive been dealing with him for the past 20 years and hes always there to help.

Bahman Recommended,After 25 years of being a real estate in the historic riverside Avondale area, and after dealing with many plumbing I am doing an update review on Terry Vereen services.My experience was not the best about 10 years ago but I have recently used them again and I have been surprisingly happy with the office manager and specially the the Service man “ Hunter “ that came over. The job was excellent, they were extremely courteous and the price compared to others was just right. For the time being I’m highly recommending them and I will be using them myself and recommending them to my clients as well. I will however do another update sooner than later this time!Companies and management can change so can their services over time, an update is definitely a must!

I have used Terry Vereen Plumbing for the last several years and have been very pleased. We had to have extensive repair work done (complete repiping) in order to sell our old house, then a lot of work to renovate a kitchen and bath in our new house. Vereens plumbers are punctual, pleasant, skilled, and respectful of our property. Renovating the kitchen in our new house got complicated, both technically and logistically. With the Covid pandemic, many things were out of my control, like getting tile work done, or the delivery of a dishwasher. Vereen was very easy to work with and did whatever was necessary to accommodate awkward scheduling. I would highly recommend Terry Vereen Plumbing for all your plumbing needs.

I mowed over our outdoor shutoff valve... brilliant!!!... basement flooded, driveway flooded, no water. On a Sunday. I called TVP Monday at 8am... they arrived at 10am, and fixed everything by 11am. WOW! Thanks Aaron, and thanks TVP! :)

We have been very pleased with the services weve received from Terry Vereen Plumbing in the past few months. They were recommended to me by a coworker. Weve called them out 3 times for 3 different repairs weve needed and all were very well done. They work quickly, do great work, are respectful of my home (wore shoe covers as I requested) and left everything neat and clean at the end. I must give a shout out to Joe F. and Joe T. who came in last week for one service and, because they were so efficient, I added a few more services on while they were here. The pricing was reasonable and we remain happy with their work.

Made an appointment for about a week out from 10:00 to 1:00 and had to call them after 1:00 they did not show up or call to tell me they were going to be late or anything. After I called they informed me the guy was going to be late but didnt know how late and I informed them my husband had to leave for work is the reason I scheduled the appointment early.

Charged 585 dollars for a days work. Found a leak in my line from the pump to the house and cleaned one drain.

I just wanted to leave a few words of praise for one of your guys. Hunter came to my house today to remove two bathroom faucets and do a little work on a bathtub leak. One of the faucets was so old and corroded that the piece had become merged with the countertop. The young man had to literally saw it off the sink, which he did not damaging the sink top Then the old drain pipe broke off and he had to go in through an adjacent wall to fix that. The guy worked tirelessly and ran into further complications from our old plumbing. But his know-how and determination left us with two beautiful faucets and a working bathtub. You all should give that guy a raise. He did a great job. Well be calling you back for a kitchen update, which I promise will be easier. Thank you all, you will hear from us again.

Be careful with this company, I purchased a dishwasher for home depot and they provided piping, this plumber didnt glued pieces and they are saying water damage under my sink is my fault because I provide the pipe. The wanted to charge additional $150 + to have someone come and glue it like it was supposed to be done to begin with. I had used this company for all my plumbing needs in the passed very surprise to see how they treat loyal customers. Time to find an honest company.

We called them on a holiday weekend when it was very difficult to get anyone else to even answer the phone, We had a broken pipe outside that could have flooded the house, because it was leaking into the wall. As it was, we had to turn off water to the entire house to avoid flooding. Their call center was helpful, and although the fee was higher than it would have been any other day, they still agreed to come out. Matt, the plumber who arrived, was courteous, respectful, and professional. He explained each part of the repair and gave us options on interior or exterior access to the pipe, as well as what hardware we would need to replace. He worked quickly, and was always careful to keep things as clean as possible. The job was thorough and well executed. Even the final bill was not as high as we anticipated. My wife and I agreed that this was an excellent service experience.

I emailed explaining exactly what I wanted installed which was a Hybrid water heater. They gave me a quote and we accepted. When they came and installed they told my wife it was $100 more because it was a Hybrid. They admitted it was overlooked on their part. Dont know how they did. It was not my mistake. Now they wont reimburse and ignore my emails. I will never do business with this company again!!

We had a slow leak in the upstairs shower plumbing that only became apparent when a water stain appeared on our kitchen ceiling. We called Vereen Plumbing to address the issue and several other preventative issues we had. Bobby was sent with his assistant (I wish I knew his name). They were both so efficient, helpful and kind that I will forever call Vereen for our plumbing needs. My water heater sprang a leak. Being on the second floor, the sense of emergency was even greater (even though it does have a drip pan).I called Vereen on the recommendation of another plumber (he was too busy to help). The lady at Vereen said they would have someone out in a few hours.The tech (Shaun) showed up right as promised. He was very professional, courteous and obviously quite skilled. He left zero mess and his piping was artwork.Best of all they were able to quote a standard price for this particular task which covered pretty much everything. And the price was extremely reasonable.I will have no problem calling Vereen for future plumbing events.

Prompt response. Phone service courteous. The plumber was in my condo within 45 minutes.Turns out the problem was between the building and the street and had backed up into my unit.The plumber (Mitch) was efficient quickly diagnosing and resolving the problem. He did a great job cleaning up after.

We were visiting with my wifes parents when a pipe burst on the outside of the house. We lost all water pressure to the faucets and toilets inside the house. It was a Sunday so i new finding a plumber that would come out on the weekend would be hard.We called around and could not get any body to come out that day. I then tried Terry Vereen Plumbing who answered the phone right away, took down my information and what the issue was, and we received a call back from a tech named Jacob 10 minutes later saying that he is on his way to help us. Jacob was there for about an hour. he fixed the burst pipe and we had running water again.Without Terry Vereen, my wifes parents would have been without water all weekend. Jacob was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous and did a great job. My in-laws already want him to come out and fix other plumbing issues. I will definitely be referring them to other people who need plumbing work done.

Years ago I used them, and although they fixed my plumbing issue, Ill never forget how the plumber gave me a dirty look and was nasty to me in my face and said, I make more money than you!. The amount of disrespect stirred up by terrys daughter lauren was just absolutely nasty!

Always use Terry Vereen when I need any plumbing work. I dont bother to do even the smallest things myself any more. This week I had them replace my water heater and I was totally 100% satisfied with the job, from the call to schedule to the finished job.

On a Sunday doing a DYI bathroom remodel, I cut a pipe to short, and couldnt get the valve connected securely. After hours of trying, I finally gave up (main water to the house was off, and thats not good with a family of six). At 10:30 on a Sunday night I contacted Terry Vereen plumbing, within 45 minutes the tech was out, and 30 minutes later the house water was back on. The cost was very good ($170) considering the day and the time of the call.

BEWARE!!!, this company is the worst. DO NOT CALL THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I had a commercial shut off valve replaced to the tune of $1600. After it was installed, it didnt work properly. They sent out some flunkies to look at it (three times). Still no fix. My patience was wearing thin. Opted for simple $100 valve with refund from first botched job. Guess what, they installed the second valve incorrectly as well. Tried to get my money back. Had to listen to not our office policy b.s. Had to hire an attorney to get my money back. NOT the way to do business.

Weve used Terry Vereen Plumbing extensively during the past year and have been thrilled with the service every time. We built a guest house on our property earlier this year and they took care of all plumbing. They really went above and beyond our expectations. Then this month they repiped our house, and the job went smoothly and efficiently. The quality of their work is exceptional and their customer service is beyond exceptional. Had to do a whole house re-pipe due to copper pipe issues. Terry Vereen Plumbing did everything they said they would do - from coming out to give estimate, emailing contract, getting permit, scheduling the work and completing the work. All done in a timely manner by friendly, professional staff. They sent out 2 trucks and 5 guys to do this job and they arrived on time and were clean cut, polite and got right to work! They got this job done the same day and cleaned up after themselves. The county inspector showed up today to sign off and said they did excellent work and had insulated all the pipes (which this county does not even required anymore). We could not have asked for anything better...they did a great job and we would recommend them to anyone! And the price was fair too! We talked to atleast a dozen companies and had 3 companies come out to give us estimates and Terry Vereen Plumbing was one of the lowest. You wont go wrong if you hire these guys!

Had a sewer line bust. Raw sewage coming out on the lawn. Made a call. Within 10 minutes two young men arrived and started work. It was late in the day. They returned the next day and unclogged the pipe and replaced the section that was damaged . Didnt cost an arm and a leg. I recommend!!

Service from technicians is still exemplary at Terry Vereen, but initial reception needs improvement. I spoke with Erica in the front office to book an appointment for a minor issue with my faucet and toilet. She neglected to inform me of new, more expensive labor rates. I also asked a time range to expect the tech. She expressed that the 1-3 time window was open.On the day of service at 2pm, I was called and asked again what services needed to be performed. I called to speak with, Kelly, the front office manager the next day and she let me know that she would speak with her front office team regarding these concerns. I was thankful that the technician accepted my 15% off coupon at the time of service, but when I spoke with Kelly, I wasn’t offered any incentive to remain a customer of Terry Vereen after several years of loyalty.

Absolutely amazing service! I am a property manager and had a crisis with a stopped up pipe. 2 of my high volume tenants in the 5 Points area had to shut down. Terry Vereen found the problem and worked all through the night to replace a section of pipe located 5+ feet under concrete were the stoppage was. Matthew and his crew were fantastic and are heroes!

Unfortunately they did not honor the workmanship when I found that my water heater had a chronic low grade leak that had degraded the fitting on the actual water heater. The customer support was not helpful in seeking a resolution or even having someone look into it. I would not recommend using them.

I had a bubbling toilet when I took a shower and called Terry Vereen who sent out two very young-looking men to fix the stoppage. They located the drain pipe in the back yard, ran 10-12 feet of line from the pipe opening by the house toward the septic tank. They flushed the toilet (which had always flushed), and pronounced the drain clear. I had to leave town the next day and was gone for a week in California. The second or third day I was back, the bubbling began again. It was on the weekend, so I had to wait until the work week to call them. It was Wednesday before I called. They said no warranty on stoppages, but I explained no one had even been in the house to use water, and it was clear the stoppage had not been fixed when they were here. They wouldnt budge. I called Darley Plumbing who came out and worked more than an hour removing large amounts of grease from the line from the kitchen drain. $118, but definitely worth it. I will not be calling Vereen again.

Tech named Sean came out on Saturday and cleared my drains. Efficient and effective work. Nice young man, excellent work!

My Dad called this plummer for a clogged toilet. They sent 2 people out, one of the workers stayed in the van the entire time apologizing to someone on the phone and my Dad had to help unclog his own toilet only to have the same thing happen the very next day. When he called to have them return they sent one guy for a 2 man job and re billed him for another visit when the work wasnt done properly the first time. Very bad service. Do not recommend.

I was charged $504 labor to fix two faucets, a dripping drain and push a reset button on a water heater. This took two days (wrong part ordered) and two crews of two plumbers each. They left considerable dirt wherever they worked, and under the sink they jumbled up all of the stuff stored there as if they had just thrown it back in. The policy of sending a different crew to fix the job not completed by the first crew is a poor one as the second crew really didnt know what was going on. This is not unique to Vereen, but still a poor way of doing things. Will not use them again.

Young men that came to my home fell thru the garage roof and hall roof.Didnt even bother to tell me.Replumbed whole house.Made 28 trips all together.Tried to discuss with Mr. Vereen and he ask us to leave his office.He could have taken time to send somone out to check their work.Some of the plumbing was not even connected.In the attic where the man fell thru twice didnt even put the insulation back up.Took days to even get somone to patch which looks awful.Plus they took the ice maker hose and bent into and shoved in back of air conditioner.Wondered why ice machine never worked again.They came highly recommended to me.Very very disappointed as Im having to pay to have redone.

We are remodelers and have been using Terry Vereen Plumbing and Scott Wolf (estimator/project manager) for close to 5 years now. They have always been very fair on pricing, depenbable on scheduling and an absolute pleasure to work with, in general. If we have a small issue, they tackle it like a linebacker and they never look back. Simple, easy going and affordable. What else could you ask for??

I have used terry Vereen plumbing numerous times over the last few years had great experience working as autonations facilities manager coming to our dealer ships fixing our problems last night had a problem at my home called last night got a call this morning around 930 when I called more than 12 hours before haven’t been able to shower not use my sink and emergency then talked to a tec I wanted to check my schedule then said ok when will you be in my area he replied 12 at 1 no show I text him he said I had no reply so maybe my fault but if you continues to want business maybe my question wasn’t direct I have met the owner of this company and he’s good maybe more of management system on the emergency days should be applied sorry for this review good luck to you

Set an appointment on Friday to have service for Monday...10-Noon was the schedule time I needed to be available. Around 1pm I hadnt heard from Vereens and decided to call. The appointment was cancelled...no explanation why or courtesy call. My time is important to me as well and dont appreciate it others wasting it. NOT RECOMMENDED

Horrible.I had them come out to install a toliet and a shower/tub faucet. It should have been an easy job. However, they put in the wrong size pipe, didnt finish the shower head an chipped my tile floors in the process.

I usually like to only leave good reviews, but 3 disappointingly bad strikes and I had to share.First, I used them several times about 5 years ago and they were great. Times have changed.The original appointment, they were late and I had to leave. I thought they simply werent coming. My husband (who didnt know exactly what needed to be done & was trying to help me) let them in when they arrived. They did work I didnt need done (and stained about 2 inches of new grout), didnt fix the leak (or even determine the problem - the leak was so bad my garage ceiling was falling down) and, $200 later, left.I called to give them a second chance (before I wrote a bad review) and spoke to Erica. She said shed call me back after she talked to the plumber. I said I couldnt set the appointment at that second as I was walking into a meeting. I called back at 4:30, was told was the resolution was that they would waive the initial call fee. So I set the appointment.I stayed home from work for the 2nd appointment. They didnt show. I called back, spoke to Erica & she said that *I* never called her back! I explained that I called back that sameday at 4:30 & set the appointment. She puts me on hold and, instead of apologizing, asked me When do you want to make the appointment? No apology, no explanation...I reset the appointment...I should have known better...Third appointment... The plumber comes out. I explain to him the scope of what I want & assumed they understood (its not rocket science). They installed my pedestal sink (which I had pulled out to check it wasnt broken as it was on the first appointment - not their fault), but didnt notice the large defect in the base (see photo).WHY did they not say, Hey, do you still want us to install this, it had a large defect? My answer would have been NO! They also installed the drain to the wall without changing out the pipe (which is what I wanted to make it look pretty behind the sink), then when I explained (I literally had to say, Look at this new bathroom... Im trying to make it look nice and *that* just looks dirty and unfinished (as you can see behind the sink). The plumber said, Well, you dont have the parts here to do that... Really? After I explained what my intent was with the changing of the fixtures? I was amazed I had to ask Well, do you have anything on the truck? Sure enough, he did.) WHY did he not tell me this *before* he installed everything?So he then spent another 20-30 minutes correcting this error (and charged me for the time)... But he had to cut drywall out and left me do the repair!His response to the grout they stained with toilet was? Well, I guess youre just going to have to cut it out & regrout it. Really?!? They couldnt try to clean it?So now, Im $500 out of pocket to them and left with a defective sink installed, a new drywall repair & stained grout...oh and finding - after another conversation where I felt like I was pulling teeth - finding (but not repairing) a massive leak.Im a pretty understanding person. Im not expecting perfection, but this whole experience had me feeling frustrated & upset. Do I uninstall the sink myself? Wait for another to come in & pay someone else? They caulked the top to the base... And the drywall? And the grout? Thanks, guys...a house remodel is tough enough. Now I have even more problems...

They suck. The first time they used a temporary fix the second time he used a temporary fix and dug a huge hole then said he would be back... Never came back

We had our house replumbed in 2004 and they walked off with our brand new faucet and replaced it with a cheap one. My husband is now working on a skylight and found where they crushed our air conditioning trunk line. They put black tape to try and hide it. No one else has done any work in our attic since 2004 thats why we know they did it.

I had Terry Vereen plumbing come to do work twice during my kitchen remodel; once to disconnect the sink/disposal and then again to hook it back up. It was like having two different companies between the 2 visitsFirst off I have no complaints about the workmanship. Everything was fixed and works as expected. I do have an issue with the installer, Adam, who came to do the disconnect. The first visit left a bad taste in my mouth with the level of un-professionalism. During the middle of the disconnect he stepped outside for almost 10 minutes to take a phone call. Then, when it came time to write up the bill, I actually had to go check on what was taking so long because he sat for almost 15 minutes out in the van writing up the ticket. Apparently, he counted that as time worked because I timed the visit from the time he walked in to the time he walked out to write up the ticket. This guy conveniently rounded down on the time he arrived (almost 15 minutes before he actually did) and rounded up on the time worked (he stepped out the door at 8:25 but I got charged for 8:45 while he took his sweet time to write the ticket). I even brought this to his attention, but the ticket was already written up and because I guess when he looked at his watch during the write up it was closer to 8:45 not 8:30 (which Im sure was true). I cant attest to whether these things were done on purpose to squeeze me for money or just a sign of very inattentive/sloppy billing practices but there is no excuse either way.At the end of the day, I got charged for 1.5 hrs of work when the actual time worked was under an hour. Thats a 50% round up! Maybe not a ton of money in the scheme of things, and probably less noticeable if it was a 3 hr job, but money is tight and every bit counts. Maybe they needed to offset my Angies list discount, who knows?To top it off, I told him he could take the old sink, I assume for salvage, but he took the disposal with it as well without even asking! I had to make a bunch of calls so they could track him down and make sure he didnt dispose of it. So, I was locked in to using Terry Vereen again for the reconnect since they had to bring back my disposal for the install. Luckily the 2nd visit was much more professional. Again, I made sure to write down the exact arrival and departure (especially after the first experience). This time they were right on the money. They seemed, quick, professional and kept things clean. There was no time spent talking on the phone or 15 minutes spent writing up the ticket (apparently it CAN be done more quickly!) So I really dont know what to think of these guys overall. Did they just have one lousy installer, or do they tell them to try and squeeze people for more money wherever possible? Theres really no way to know, but I probably wouldnt take the chance using them again even with their ratings on here.

Shady business, I would not recommend. STAY AWAY!

We had an inspection, a repipe, a water heater, and a run for an ice maker done. Staff from Terry himself to the helpers were total pros. We couldnt be more pleased, and would hire them again in an instant!

Its false advertising the ad and web states its 24 hours and they office dont open til 7am
