This Sport Clips location is very accessible and conveniently located among other shopping. They accept walk-in appointments and they have a way to join the wait list, online. This location seemed to have a lot of regulars that used this location. Everyone seemed very happy with their cuts. The staff were all courteous and helpful. I took my two teenage boys in, but I wasnt completely satisfied with their cuts (this was my boys first time here and that may have played a role in my not being satisfied). They do a very good job, but I was asking for a bit of a difficult cut for my oldest. Overall, I believe they do a good job. They also offer a variety of hair care products to purchase as well.

Casey did amazing on mine. I usually leave it longer but she great and showed me a way to style it. She also actually has a conversation with you unlike the others I’ve had that don’t talk at all. Got the MVP she did great with that too.

Very professional and courteous staff - really appreciated the quality of the service in addition to the laughter and banter between staff and clients. My friend recommended this place to us. So, I had my boyfriend get a haircut here. Did you ever get the “ick” from a man? Well, the hairstylist, Morgan, cured that ick. My boyfriend went from a 2 to a 10, looked like a whole MEAL (not even a snack). I suggest asking for Morgan to do it.

Danielle was simply amazing. She cut and styled my hair perfectly exactly the way I asked. By the way Morgan was pretty darned good too. I admired her work as mine was being done.

We have made 3 separate trips up here today with different family members just to have her take care of us.Shes genuine, super funny, and knows exactly how to take care of her clients. Been going here for years. There was a change in ownership a couple of years ago. Worst haircut ever today and charged me extra for putting on a conditioner without telling me of the extra charge. Also tried to charge for a double MVP. Very bad business ! Will definitely avoid this hairstylist in the future. Con job.Update - The owner replied to my post within one day. Stated they would be in touch immediately and wanted to resolve the issue. It has been 2 months and I have not heard from anyone. Again, shows how this business is run. Will never return to this location or any other location of this owner.

Hands Down Donita is one of the best hair stylist you will ever meet. On top of giving an expertly done haircut she was so fun and genuine throughout my entire experience. She has kids at home (I think she said 5) and I know she works hard everyday not only to provide for them, but also come home after her 8hr shift and spend with each one. I wanted to give her the biggest tip I could and if Donita is any representation of the the compony all the way to the top, I KNOW Im spending my money at the right place. A guys spot for haircuts! (Especially during sporting times/events) lol. Haircut packages are different and nice. A bit pricey though! But I mean overall, a cut and go is i believe $19 (not including tip). Something I dont really mind paying ever now and again when its time for a cut.

Even though they are accustomed to doing mens hair, I decided to give them a try because I wanted a section shaved under my hair. RHONDA did a great job, loved the way the layers of my bob lay as well as the shaved area underneath. Very easy to communicate with.

The service was awesome. Both Manager and Assistant were extremely patient with my son. My son is 3 and has had a few haircuts but none were successful. This was the FIRST time he allowed himself to get a real big boy haircut. I was extremely happy. I also received the massage, hot towels, wash and trim. It was an unexpected pleasant treat. I also purchased the Tea Tree Shampoo and love it.

Update: 8/10/19. Finally resolved issue with a call from a rep at the store. Thx.8/2/19: Refused to honor a coupon with an expiry date of 2022 because they didnt have a button!!!Really?? Go get trained then!Owner will not contact me to discuss after leaving messages with their Corporate store.

I was pretty unimpressed with the service and haircut. The trimmer used on me seemed cheap and it did not cut well. When I got home I started noticing inconsistencies and had to have my wife finish the cut. I have a better trimmer at home than what they had in there business! You kidding me!? There were obvious fade lines that were missed and I would be embarrassed to go to work with this haircut. The concept in general is a bit cheesy, especially the foot locker style ref tops the barbers wore. The barbers in general just seemed so unprofessional and the majority of this was proved true to me. The best way I could describe this place is its were barbers careers go to die. I only came because my gym offered a free haircut coupon so I figured I would give it a shot but I got what I payed for. I was pissed I even gave her a tip to be honest. I felt like I wasted my time and gas. On a positive note I did see other cuts that looked good but with their price point I see potential clients money being best spent elsewhere.

Would like to see a shave added to service provided but other than that nothing else is needed.

This was my first time going to Sport Clips. It was awesome. Teresa did an amazing job on my fade. The shampoo experience is something everyone must try. Im hooked!

Stopped in to see Debbie after a recommendation from my father who visits her frequently. She not only did a great job listening to my desires and engaging in caring conversation, but she put her whole heart into my cut. It’s hard to find someone who truly listens to what you want mixed with the understanding of how one snip can change the way your entire head looks. She took the time to study me and work with my terrible hair.To all the “worst haircuts ever” people: I’ve learned with every haircut, you need to have very clear communication and not be afraid to critique the work through your the process. Never make assumptions and get the haircut you want by opening your mouth.

I went to this store hoping to get a hair cut. I was using the phone app and the phone app reported “no wait time”. I was like “hot dog “ I will get in and out. I entered the building there was a woman sitting in the customer chairs and she was interviewing another woman for a hair cutting job. The woman did not say “ welcome to sports clips” which is the normal greeting. As a matter of fact she did not even look my way. You figure she would if she is interviewing a potential employee and wants to show the culture of the place. There was another woman in the store who was sitting in a barber chair watching a soap opera and did not say “ welcome to sports clips” she said you can sit down we will get to you. I sat down watched the soaps and 10 minutes later I left and went to a different sports clips near by. The woman sitting in the chair followed me out of the store to my car raising her voice and asking me “ why are you going to your car?” I said politely that I needed a hair cut and I could tell it was not going to happen at this sports clips.This sports clips is at Hodges and Beach Blvd in Jacksonville Florida.

It has been a long, long time since I visited a hair cuttery that gave such a great personal experience. The days of making the customer feel better leaving than when he arrived have been long in the past. This was such a refreshing change from the current barbering choices. From the excellent haircut to the hot towel, shampoo, and massage (by hand AND by chair) all was right in the world. There was also a sumptuous variety of hair grooming products. Whether you like a light hold, or full spikes, there is one for you. They even have some with silicone; good, but I prefer the more natural feel. Thank you, Valerie. This will not be my last visit, for sure.

Ive been coming here for years. It is a great place to get your hair cut and watch a little sports. Teeka (who always cuts my hair) does a great job and as manager she makes the store run well. They even if electronic check-in so you can see your wait time and an online scheduling tool as well. Dont miss out!

I went to get my hair cut today, specifically said “I wanted a bob to where the back touched my shoulders” meaning a medium bob. I got a bob that the back is completely gone, the front doesn’t even touch my shoulders and it’s suppose to be the longest part. The lady took less than 5 minutes to cop all my hair off, which was about 8 inches. Highly disappointed in my first visit. Will no longer attend there . I Do Not recommend .

My hair is thin and it is difficult to make it look good. Since moving here, I have been trying different stylists since March. Finally, Angie gave me the best cut in months. I will return!

It was my first time going into a Sport Clips, I was not sure what to expect. I walked in on a Saturday morning and I was very happy that there was a chair open and no waiting. Everyone working that day was very friendly. The big thing for me is customer service and getting what I pay for, I explained how I wanted my hair cut and how I wanted it to look when done. The lady that cut my hair listened to my directions and followed them. Hard to get that kind of service these days, but I was very happy with the customer care-customer service.

Always get a great haircut here! Plus I like that they wash your hair after the cut so you dont have little hairs down your neck and back. Plus a back massage!

I used to live in Illinois and went to a Sports Clips all the time and it was always good. I brought my 4 year old here for the first time and it was horrible. The lady was clearly not good/comfortable cutting kids hair and it turned out awful.

Its hit or miss. An older woman tried to do a fade on me. Most people start from the bottom with clippers with like a one or two guard and then go up a guard size to complete the fade. Nope, not her. My fade was so bad and uneven I had to get some one to fix it. Ive given this place three chances. They dont listen to what you want and clearly dont have well trained barbers. I was recommended to go to sports clip, but dont recommend this one!

Worst place ever to take lil boys for hair cuts. I have four boys and there were three hair technicians. Each one got a hair cut from a different technician and it is absolutely obvious they dont know what a line up is. My boys ended up with girls line ups in their heads. Funny thing about it is that they demand the tips and if Im not mistaken they demand for a 20%. Smh. Save your money if you have a little boy but if you have a little girl I guess you safe.

That lady destroyed my 9 year old son’s beautiful hair. We let his hair grow long for a long time to style it and she comes and cuts it so short and did totally the opposite of what we asked her to do. I’m hating right now. And I’m not like that. So disappointed.

Today I got the worst service ever! It has never happened before. Thats because I always have Debbie but she was busy so I got some other lady. She didnt listen to what I wanted done. I told her i have to have it a certain way for work. She was short and rude. I will never step foot in this sports clip again!

I went after I heard an ad on Pandora. I was happy that they offered me a $10 haircut, but I felt like I could have had a more relaxing, less awkward experience with the same results if I had cut my own hair. The haircut was not what I was hoping for (it was basically a simple buzz cut when I wanted some good styling). It was awkward because the hair stylist felt the need to explain every detail to me - starting with how they use sanitary instruments...I just expect them to do that. And she kept calling me my dear, but too much. And to top off the awkward, I was the case study for a trainee. I felt like a lab rat that was getting shaved. The whole experience was disingenuous and unauthentic. I am going back to my real barber shop where they cut your hair, charge fair prices, dont upsell the MVP Experience, and keep the barber shop experience a sacred tradition set aside for men as it has been for decades and not a franchised, cookie-cutter, awkward experience.

I don’t usually do this, because I know how hard to be in customer service. And they always try their best to make you happy, but this women just did my hair put next to no effort in making me happy. I told her I want my SIDES to be a three and trimmed alittle bit on the front. I asked her to blend my SIDES not my front. And just just do it anyway. After I told her to stop cutting my front she came up some ridiculous excuses. She was trying to blame it on me. I don’t mind mind paying 20 or 30 bucks for my haircut but I want my money to be worth it. This place is great on any other day except Thrusday and don’t let Teeka cut your hair. PLZ people don’t let her touch your hair.

The worst haircut I have ever received. Great customer service but POOR quality. First time visiter and I got home and saw I have some hair on top of my head that 3 inches longer than the other half, that just sticks straight up in the air. My cowlick wasnt even touched, and is flopping over. I am absolutely blown away by it, considering this place receives such great reviews. Looks like Im back to a ballcap for the next month

Whats the point of showing pictures and telling them what you want if they are just going to do what they want?? I showed 4 pictures of the haircut i wanted for my son and told her not to cut it too short on the top and what did she do? Cut it however she wanted. Its not at all what I wanted. Dont go here unless you watch their every move and over emphasis what you want to a point where you will probably come off like a jerk. Should have done that and now i regret i didnt

First off let me begin by saying I am very picky and highly critical when it comes to people cutting my hair! With that being said I was extremely grateful to find Sports Clip’s Stylist La’Teeka at their San Pablo location in Jacksonville, FL. Extremely polite, professional, and personable! But most importantly she is an EXCELLENT stylist and can fade hair and blend perfectly! In my opinion blending and fading is a true art form and La’Teeka has mastered it! As much as I would hate for my review to make her less accessible for selfish reasons, it would be remiss of me not to share with others her quality of work and excellent experience she provides her clients! 5 stars from me! And P.S. if for some reason La’Teeka is unavailable or too busy with other clients and you can not reschedule or afford to wait, the other stylists at this location are more than capable of providing great service as well!! But between me and whoever reads this, La’Teeka is worth the wait! :)
