Barbers are very good at what they do. They are also very respectful and try to tailor the conversation when children are present.

Ive been going to this barbershop since I was about 12 and these guys are the only ones whove consistently cut my hair. I love going to this place to get my cuts and I look forward to going here for as long as I live in Jacksonville.

Ramin is a very thorough Barber. His cuts and shape up are done with exquisite perfection. He is very neat and. he listens to what the customer wants and does it beautifully. Had a bad experience here once a few weeks back.I came in and they were talking about sports or something and there was only one person getting their hair cut with like 3 other free barbers free. So I sat down waiting for them to notice I walked in and the minutes went by I counted 5 min with no avail so I walked out... don’t know why sports are more important than the job they got up in the morning to go do but the customer comes first and i will not be returning I’m sorry don’t try to contact me and make it up. The owner needs to rectify this issue and let the employees know that this was unacceptable. Goodbye

The price for my haircut was $12. I think it was the best haircut Ive ever gotten. The guy was very careful and methodical and kept giving me the mirror and checking with me to make sure that he had cut it exactly as I wanted.Plus it was a very friendly, low-key and unpretentious place, where people dropped by to talk and the guys cutting hair knew everyone who came in, with the conversation ranging from sports to gossip to people in the neighborhood. The guys who cut the hair were very entertaining. It reminded me of the Ice Cube movie Barbershop. I didnt know places like that still existed.I had a nice time, was treated kindly, and got a great haircut at a good price. And if you want to make a day of it, theres Korean barbecue next door.

When I tell you that I am pleased with the service my son received on yesterday, I mean ever word of it. My son is very picky and likes for everything to be right on point, so I figured finding a barber that would cut to his satisfaction was going to be hard. He did a little searching and came across these guys.When I called to get the location and the pricing, I got a good feeling about taking my son to this shop just from the customer service I received on the phone. I dropped my son off immediately after the call and went to run a quick errand. By the time I returned to the barbershop, my son had his haircut and was back at the car within a few minutes of my return. Must I say that I immediately noticed how neat his cut was as soon as he got in the car. On top of that, he had not one bad thing to say about the service he received. I am very pleased with how well my son was treated, as well as the short amount of time it took for him to get his haircut. So pleased that I called when I got home to thank the them personally and to let them know that they have a new customer. These guys do excellent work in my opinion and the environment is very welcoming.

My boys have been a customer of this barbershop since they were young teens. They are grown men now and they continue to use their services. The barbers here are very professional and has a passion for what they do. When my youngest son comes home for leave he makes it a point to stop by for a fresh cut!

I saw online it closed at 8. I got there around 6:48 and there was an open sign on with people sitting inside. Someone was getting their haircut. I pulled on the door to walk in and it was locked. The barber looked over at me through the door. I smiled and waved but he never waved back or anything. I saw him say something to the people inside and he laughed then continued to cut hair so I left. That was my experience at Set-N-Trends off university blvd.
