TJ the barber at Centerstage is outstanding! He is the only barber who knows how to cut my sons hair. My son has a cow lick in the front and every other barber after the cut had that spot looking bald. Not TJ and now that I am opting to allow my sons hair to grow out the edge up that TJ did looks very good!!!

Nice clean relaxed vibe. Super friendly. Amazing cut by Jami. Got the exact cut I asked for. My son also loved the cut, thought Jami was very nice and did a great job. My son was very comfortable in the chair, as he usually cringes while getting a haircut. It didnt take long at all. We booked the appointment online the day before, got there and was in and out with a nice experience and great look. Finally found the one! Will continue to go back again and again.

Seem like a good shop, I just went to the wrong barber tall slim dude with dreads against the wall by the Ali portrait..... pretty sure he was on something while cutting my hair. Worst cut I had in a while, wore hats for about 2 weeks. May try another barber not sure though

TJ was very welcoming when I first came to check this place out. He took me as a walk in and gave me his card and has been cutting my hair off and on since then! He is very talented and makes sure to take good care of you!

I have lived in Jacksonville since 1993 and this is the BEST barbershop that I have ever been to. The barbers are well-trained and skilled to work with any type of hair. I have never had a problem with any of my haircuts and I am VERY particular about my haircuts. Even if you just want a simple trim or a carefully sculpted haircut for a movie audition they will give you a perfect cut every time.

Take my kids here because their always nice and even funny to chat with. My kids enjoy themselves.

I have known T.J. since my son was an infant. Although Ive moved around over the years, I was happy to find out that T.J. is now located only a few minutes from my sons middle school.

Ive been coming to CenterStage for 5yrs and I always have a great experience, Ive been rockin with my big homie Nikebarber24 for 10yrs and he always get me right. When you come through ask for him.

Ridiculous with the price $20 for my 13yr old, understood.. But $21 for my 9yr old with no designs. Thats crazy, never again. Also, there were no special accommodations for my child other than patience as a barber with a kid moving around from itching. One barber charged a fee for using a card but the other didnt. And when the question was askedSo the price is the same for teenagers and young kids? All I got was a yes in response. If patience, or a booster seat that helps the barber is considered accommodations then wow. Thanks for your response, but I dont get it.

Been going here for almost a year and I highly recommend TJ, always a great conversation with this man intelligent and a hard working family man, love this dude and as a repeat customer there is nothing about TJ and the atmosphere of this barber shop that is negative, they treat you like family!

I was referred to Toom at Center Stage by my frat brother. When I walked in I was impressed by the setup of the shop and the uniformity of the barbers. The haircut was on point but the atmosphere is what made the impact. Good conversation. Flat screen tvs everywhere. Very much a class act which made me comfortable as a first time visitor. When I am back in town I will be sure to come back.

Great barbershop. Im new to Jacksonville first shop I ever ever been to. The only reason they didnt get 5 stars from me is because they are always full of people and busy because so many people like the shop. Eventho they have alot of barbers cutting usually about10 -12 barbers. Great place tho love my cut every time!

Went to this place 3 times, first 2 times was average service. As a white guy, I was the outcast and it was made a joke out of. It is what it is. But my 3rd and final visit I saw a barber in there I didnt recognize my first 2 visits. I went to him and immediately he dissed my heritage saying that my whole family must be racist because we were Italian and busted my chops about everything. Called me a wimp when I told him I was going to propose to my girlfriend, laughed when I told him I never cheated. Not your typical barber convo. He was a chunky looking light skinned hispanic dude.To top it off, while most haircut are $15 (if I remember correctly) he told me that HIS cuts were $20, plus tip. I knew he was lying. Stopped going ever since.

The staff are professional & I definitely understand the concept behind the name because after their services, each client looks as if they stepped off of a stage. Big ups to the whole shop for doing their thing💯salute.

Arrived here at center stage barber and was greated by one barber take it that hes been here awhile. Asked me can he help me I said a cut, said to me anybody...I REPLIED NOT NO ANYBODY...well sit down and well get to you. Im a new coustmer, new face and you going to say ANYBODY. Wow what I was hoping to hear was, sir all our barbers here are good is there anyone in particular you would like to cut your hair... He shouldve said have a seat and well get with you when we get ready

Great people and a great business.These guys really take pride in their work, if you want a haircut you can show off, this is the place to go.I have to describe these guys as artists, because some of the haircuts they give are works of art.Look up @Pelaygo (archie Pelaygo) on Instagram to see what I mean. He is one of the Barbers there and posts pictures of his work daily.

E.c always make sure i leave the shop satisfied. .but all the barbers are tallented in their work..
