Our wedding was the most amazing, stress free, well planned, beautifully decorated, strategically coordinated event! It is all thanks to Britian, Maria and they’re incredible wealth of knowledge and guidance. Our wedding was incredible and exceeded our expectations because of them! Could not recommend this venue and team enough!

Not only was the castle on the lake the most beautiful venue I could’ve asked for, the staff was amazing and took care of literally everything. I literally just had to show up with my dress and get ready, they took care of everything else. It was stress-free and everything we could’ve asked for!

Castle on the Lake was by far the most exceptional wedding venue I could have chosen. Britian and her team are fabulous from the time you book the venue all the way to the end. Their professionalism is out of this world. When I thought things couldnt get worse the week of my wedding due to the Texas Snowmagedon, Britian was there for me every step of the way. Our day couldnt have been more perfect or magical. Thanks to Britian I had the perfect start to my marriage!

Britian and Maria were wonderful and so helpful during the planning process! They embraced all the different things we wanted, from COVID precautions, to a new ceremony location, to adding lights in the trees. The day of the wedding, they did an AMAZING job taking all of my decorations and random items, and really making my wedding vision come true! They were so accommodating and everything looked so beautiful! The Castle and grounds are GORGEOUS and there are so many different locations you can utilize on the property. Would highly recommend Britian and Castle on the Lake!

Castle on the lake is an entire mood. Out of all the weddings Ive been to, mine was definitely at the top. People often quote you get what you paid for I can assure you with Castle on the Lake you get a whole lot more. I had a small wedding, but I was treated like my wedding was for 300 people. I love how Britian keeps the same energy for all of her brides. I bought bubbles for the backyard wedding I planned for the exit and just threw them into gift bags. Britian took them out and as my husband and I walked back up the aisle everyone blew bubbles. I had to fight to not cry. It was such a beautiful moment and completely unexpected.

Oh what to say about the venue that made all our dreams come true?! Our wedding was a pure dream day. I’m still not sure it actually happened! A huge storm was in the forecast and our hearts were set on an outdoor wedding and dinner. The castle staff did not let a little rain and thunder deter them from giving us everything we wanted. The staff is so amazing that neither us nor our guests were aware of the struggles they went through to pull our day off. It was truly stress free for myself, my husband and our guests. I cannot recommended the Castle on the Lake enough.

Awesome venue for weddings and events. Beautiful scenery and architecture. Many interesting decorations and plenty of space to party all night. I was videographer for a wedding, and the staff was super helpful and quick with things. The newlyweds and families all seemed to have a great time too!

Castle on the Lake is the BEST wedding venue. I am so sad to see this year be the last year they host weddings at this location, but Britian and her team are the absolute BEST. Anyone who needs a wedding planner needs to contact Britian. Britian, Maria, and their entire team made my wedding day the most worry free experience I could have imagined. Everything was taken care of for me. My family and I are so amazed how well everything was put together. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Castle On The Lake was absolutely ethereal. It was a beautiful place to spend time and Im sure my brother has no regrets booking this venue for a reception. A lot of good memories were made here, and wed definitely come back at some point in the future.

Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville is by far the best venue in the area. Its absolutely gorgeous and Britian and her team make your wedding day absolutely splendid. Our wedding was so smooth and seamless and numerous guests said it was the best wedding theyd been too! The people with Castle on the Lake take care of EVERYTHING for you so you and your family just have to enjoy the day. Highly recommend! I could not have wanted our wedding day to go any other way!

Britian made this process so freaking easy. I literally did zero thing except for the last two weeks of my before wedding date. And even then, that stuff was so easy. She makes every single decision simple. She goes above and beyond. And not to mention, she is the sweetest woman ever. My now husband and I had a phenomenal experience and are 100% glad we stuck with her and the castle staff. Not to mention, Maria is a FANTASTIC decorator and makes your visions come true!

Britian and her team are absolutely fantastic! Our wedding was an absolute dream and then some. There was absolutely no stress and they took care of everything and surpassed all of my expectations! From meeting the florist (La-tee-dah), baker (Designs by Danne), caterer (Sadlers), photographer (Alicia Grote) and videographer (A Thousand Words) we truly had the dream team for our wedding! Everyone was kind and took the time to understand and capture the theme and feel we were going for! Our guests loved the experience as well, even going as far to say it was the best wedding they have ever been to! I could not recommend Britian and her team more!!

I can’t say enough good things about this venue! The setting is gorgeous, both inside and outside. We got married here last week and it was perfect! We had about a month to put together a small ceremony and Britain was amazing! She took care of everything (which is no small feat during this strange time of social distancing etc). My fiancé and I were able to keep our original scheduled wedding date and everything turned out so much better than we could’ve expected. We came in without a plan and Britain got us in touch with the best vendors (photographer, florist...) and made our day so special and memorable. The guests all loved it and said everything was beautiful. We’re so happy we chose to get married here!

The wedding on June 12th was flawless. Every time I looked up our planner was all over the place ensuring that things were perfect. They pay the highest attention to the smallest details to make sure the wedding is flawless. To me, my daughter had an ear to ear smile during the entire event. Well done staff. Well done!!!

After visiting several venues, it was clear that the Castle was going to be the most iconic, professional, experienced, and gracious host for our big day. Their ability to take care of all the details relieved so much of our stress. While they took care of most of the planning and preparation, all of the details and decisions were ours to make. At the end of the day, we had the wedding we wanted without the hassle and worry.On the day of the wedding, the venue was immaculate. It looked exactly as we had envisioned. Britian and her crew were so helpful. They made our day one we will always cherish.

Terrible customer service. I thought about having my wedding here next year and have been emailing with Britian trying to get more information. Extremely rude and made it seem like I was a bother. I will be taking our services someplace else that is more respectful.

An absolutely wonderful venue. The food was fantastic, the planner/owner is awesome, and we had a wonderful time. My wedding was there almost seven years ago, Ive done wedding photography and been to way too many weddings and this place is awesome as a venue and as a package in comparison to a lot of what Ive seen. Highly recommend.

My brother got married here in November and it was literally the best wedding I have ever attended. The food and atmosphere was incredible and everything was just perfect. I am not all sure what the place provided but I believe it was quite a bit. It was a true fairytale wedding. The fireworks were beautiful and Ive never had so much fun dancing with family and friends.

There rv park is the worst in Jacksonville very dirty neighbors are loud at night riding bikes and go carts near cars

Only thing they can improve on is signage on the road being more visible and better parking surfaces. The place is eclectic and incredibly unique. Google maps will take you to a boat ramp so be careful to look for RV parking at the entrance.

This was absolutely the best wedding venue I have ever been to and I would love to have my wedding here. The location is perfect, clean, and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly as well. I will always highly recommend this venue to anyone!

I got married at Castle on the Lake on December 5, 2015. From the beginning when we found the venue we knew it would be perfect, and it didn’t disappoint. My husband and I had a Renaissance/Game of Thrones themed wedding, with everyone in costume. Britain (coordinator at the Castle) really got into the theme and was open to all of our ideas, as well as offering some very on-point ideas of her own. Everything from being okay with people wearing swords to planning a feast complete with a whole roasted pig and turkey legs was spot on.Britain made it very easy for us to plan this wedding, and I’m glad because it was still stressful in the last couple months! Cakes, DJ, decor, and catering were all provided by the Castle. All we had to do was share our ideas with Britain and she made them reality.The day of, the venue was beautiful and everything went smoothly. We had absolutely zero stress. The cakes provided by D’anne were gorgeous as well as delicious.Not only did Britain and the Castle’s wonderful staff make our wedding day extra special and perfect; the whole thing was surprisingly affordable. Any extras were priced and worked out beforehand, so there were no surprise huge bills the day of.Oh, if you decide to have an event at this awesome place, definitely get the fireworks. They’re totally worth it. The guests were speechless, and that really revved up the party!

My cousin had his wedding here and it was beautiful and so wonderful.. they do fire works at the end of the wedding and it was magical...

So perfect. Staff was so kind and fast! Even when I thought Id forgotten something, they had it all taken care of before I could ask for help. I wasnt able to visit until a few days before the wedding, but Britian had everything so well organized that we had nothing to worry over. Seriously, give that woman a gold medal!Food was fantastic, flowers lovely, music awesome, location phenomenal, and though I havent got the photos back yet, Im sure they will be wonderful. Everyone raved about this place online, and they werent exagerating. Not even a little. There is so much to see on the walls, doors, ceilings, outside, in every nook and cranny, that we spent a couple hours just wondering about and still didnt see it all. Absolutely loved the whole package deal.
