After calling into a nearby place for an oil change appointment who said - short wait, come on in! I arrived and they said 2 hour wait and $100! I headed down the road to Famous Quick Lube and for a 1/3 of the price I was in and out in 5 minutes - not kidding you! I told the gentleman they worked so fast that I felt like an F1 driver in for a quick pit stop! Loved this place, will absolutely be back.

7/31Went to get an oil change, but ended up getting transmission fluid changed also. Later that evening my car started leaking oil. I went back the next morning and the manager at the time said my oil plug wasnt sealing properly, so he replaced it with a new one.8/6 I had to change my previous rating. Less than a week later, my car is leaking oil AGAIN, which it was NOT doing prior to my getting an oil change here. Makes me wonder if they really replaced the plug as he said they did or if they broke something thats now causing the leak. Also, no one is answering the phone and the voicemail box is full. I unfortunately no longer reside in Jacksonville, so I cant easily drive there for them to look at it again. I had an odd feeling the guy they had changing my oil wasnt very experienced as he kept having to be told what to do and was showing the oil stick to what I assume was the more seasoned worker. I can now see why they dont charge as much as other places to change oil and why there was no wait to be serviced. You absolutely get what you pay for. Hopefully this doesnt ruin my car and I can get this remedied soon.

At the time I posted the 5 star, I did not have time to write a proper review. I rated this place 5 star, not because of their advertised service but because of their personal service.I was not there for an oil change, I just needed some air in a tire that was going flat on my brother-in-laws (who had just passed away yesterday) car, trying to get it to a safe location. They filled the tires with air and sent me on my way without any charge and with a smile. To me, this is excellent service. If they do this without pay, imagine the service you will receive when they are making money on the transaction.Thanks for making a trying day a little brighter.

Got an oil change there. A few weeks later I noticed that there were several oil spots in my driveway. Took my car to the Honda Dealership to figure out why the vehicle was leaking oil. After doing a diagnostic on the vehicle they determined it was that the oil filter was not on all the way and that was where the leak was. So after a new oil change, a diagnostic and them cleaning the oil off of everything it was on I ended up paying an additional $170 on top of what I paid for my oil change at this place just to have an oil change.

Very professional and polite, stay in your car service. Checked all fluids, added air to my tires as all oil change places should but lie and say they do and even let me know an issue with my oil stick. I will definitely be a return customer keep up the good service fellas!😉

I only went to get my tire pressure checked and get them aired up. The staff treated me like a paying customer. They were friendly and made sure I was aware of how low one tire was in particular. They even told me about a place to get it patched if needed.

I just had the pleasure of working with Bo and his son. They were both very professional and informative. Maybe I just never noticed with other lube and oil locations but these guys were on point. I would recommend this location to anyone in the need of an oil change. Thanks Bo!!!

I am new to the area. I called 2 other places before I went to Famous Quick Lube on Sunbeam rd. The first place pushed a $120 oil change. The second place lied about walk-Ins and when I got there they told me I would have to wait for hours because tons of people had come in for oil changes within the five minutes it took for me to get there. So, I went down the road to Famous Quick Lube #0008. I was met by two super friendly gentlemen. They were so kind and pleasant. They took me right in and showed me everything they did. I will be using them from now on. Prices were reasonable as well. Thanks guys! I appreciate your great service.

Now that is what I call customer service! Reggie and Ebo made me feel like I was someone special. I’ve never experienced that level of service and professionalism from any oil changing service.

Very poor service!!! DO NOT USE THEM! They did an oil change on my car and my engine has blown up from it due to their negligence of the gaskets in the engine. Their adjuster has come out to my mechanics shop and we have yet to hear from the owner or manager!!! Keep getting the runaround every time we call or come to the business. I spent $70+ to have my vehicle serviced and is no longer running since December! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!Update 2/17: VP Chris has spoken to my husband via text and keeps telling him hell call him back. But has YET TO DO SO!!! We are still without a vehicle due to this place. They claim customer service is their main priority. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE TO GET THE RUNAROUND from everyone here! I just want my car fixed. My mechanic and my husband and spoken to these people on multiple occasions!!!! The guys here work extremely fast and do more than just an oil change! For 50$ I get a synthetic blend, air pressure check, vacuuming, and recommended servicing. It’s a no pressure experience.

Quick job as always with these guys! Unfortunately my battery decided it was dead as we were sitting there with the car off!! Go to start up and leave and nothing! These guys gave me a jump from a battery with no luck, and then one brought his personal car around and gave me a jump and we were able to get it started. Husband and I are so thankful! Made it home!

There is a discount for reviews, but I would have left them a review anyway. Service here is always friendly and fast. Techs keep you updated about recommended services you may be due for but arent pushy or condescending like other places Ive been. Used this location for the last 18 months. They checked all fluids, tire pressure and vacummed the drivers side of my car too. Thank you guys!

I thought I had found a good place place to get my oil changed but after doing some research I found out I was mistaken. First off I paid for high mileage oil which should last a minimum of 7500 miles, but their invoice and the reminder sticker they put on my windshield says 3000 miles until my next oil change. If you think about it that more than doubles their profit if I were to go back to them when I could safely drive another 4500 miles with the oil I have in my car. One of the mechanics also told me that I was about 30,000 miles overdue for a transmission flush and a coolant flush. I looked it up in my owners manual to verify what he told me and nope...that was another lie. Just more scare tactics mechanics use to get you to spend money when you dont need to. Im really starting to believe that there are no honest mechanics in Jacksonville Fl. Another thing that bugged me when I dropped off my car was that one of the techs got offended because I removed my car key from the ring with my house keys before I gave it to him. I do this with all shops that I drop off my car so some shady mechanic doesnt make a copy of my house key and rob my house while Im at work. It seemed really fishy that the mechanic got mad about this.A follow up: get a load of the scripted response from the company below. Express Lubes national database suggests that we spend twice as much money than we actually need to. Wow, big surprise there! This is just another shop using shady tactics to maximize profits. Here is a better idea: try being honest with your customers and dont try to bilk them out of their hard earned money by trying to sell them unneeded services.A second follow up: I have no idea what a 1080 HD camera filming my oil change has to do with anything as stated below. Apparently shady businesses dont like to be called out when they get caught ripping off a customer, but people need to be warned about this business. The bottom line is either 1. they put regular oil in my car and charged me extra claiming it was high mileage oil or 2. they put high mileage oil in my car and put 3,000 miles for the next oil change instead of 7,500 miles as recommended in my cars owners manual. This is not something a 1080 HD camera can prove or disprove. I see in a response to another negative review the owner referred to their 1080 HD camera as proof they were honest......this is a joke, right? As for the worker who got annoyed because I took my car key off of my ring, well you might want to train your workers a little better regarding dealing with customers. I have never had a mechanic get annoyed because I took my key off of my key ring. Thats a red flag to anyone with any common sense.

Encountered battery problems days after getting oil changed, reached to the owner Chris with my concerns. He was quick to respond, drove out to my house the next day to assist in anyway possible. He helped me change out my battery, we assessed that the problem was just the battery. For a owner to go over and beyond says a lot. First class service.
