I have had my Expedition serviced at Coggin Jacksonville before and been satisfied. The last three times I have tried to schedule service though, I was left on hold for over ten minutes without actually having anyone answer the phone, so I ended up going elsewhere. Today, someone did actually answer in under five minutes, but did not know the answers to two simple questions about a coupon the dealership had send out and the cost of adding a couple other related service items.At this point, I wont be going back - for anything.

From the minute that Hector Peña answered the phone this morning at the service desk, I was impressed with the prompt and friendly service. Aaron Siron (as it turns out, a fellow Mustang fan) greeted me when I arrived and took care of me since Hector was busy, helping me to chose the most appropriate service for my aging Mustang. The waiting room was comfortable, and the ‘Tang’s service was done in no time. Hector came to the waiting room find me to go over the charges, collect the money, and walk me to my car. There was a calm and collegial atmosphere in the shop, which made the whole process a pleasant event. Thanks for all of your help

Go ANYWHERE BUT HERE!I took my car and because my windshield wipers were not working correctly and honestly I think I just had them put on wrong and I just needed to go in and change them by a professional. This is a simple task that didnt require a lot of maintenance, it just required like their hand to put it back on correctly.My appointment was at 11:30, after 2 hours of waiting, I finally get information that theres an electrical issue causing the windshield wipers to malfunction. It was going to cost $370.00. I begrudgingly agreed to this, and an hour later they bring my car out. After taxes, it cost $463.00They hand me a cord, and say thats what needed to be replaced. I got home to check out my car to look at my wipers and figure out what they had done and they didnt even touch my windshield wipers because they are in the exact same condition I brought them in.I honestly believe the service people at Coggin Ford went through my car for two hours to find anything they could wrong with it, and then replaced that charging me the maximum amount they could.The piece they replaced was the negative cable for the battery that had corrosion on it, and it cost $8.00. Eight MF dollarsThey are crooks, do not trust them. They werent even intelligent enough to put the correct pieces back on so I wouldnt notice they did absolutely nothing.Go anywhere else but here.I am also afraid they probably did something to the car to cause it to break down in the future so Ill have to come back to get that fixed as well!If I could give them zero stars, I would. I got fully cheated by this organization and I will be reporting it to the better business bureau!

Made an appointment 3 weeks ahead of time to proactively plan for the delays experienced during this COVID labor shortage issue. I was appalled to find that I was not treated with priority for having an appointment on the day of my scheduled service. The service agents told me I would need to leave my car for a week before it could even get looked at for a Microsoft SYNC issue!! When asked why my 3 week out scheduled appointment was not treated with priority, I got the standard COVID labor shortage answer along with being told there are no loaner cars available... at a car dealership!! So not only can my car not get looked at for a week, I have no way to get home? I didnt realize a ford technician (craft skill position) making $60-100k would be affected by a $600/week stimulus. 2 days in, my car has still not even been looked at! Very upset as a customer that recently purchased a $60k Explorer from them. I will be taking my service elsewhere from here on out.Update: I reached out to David Sparks below at the general service number left below (not his direct line). The team did not know where he was at and he still has not called me back after 1 week.

I scheduled an appointment for them to fix a minor problem three weeks in advance. When making the appointment, I was advised that it would take two or three hours to complete the work. Upon arrival, I was advised that in order for the warrantee fix to be handled, I would have to leave the vehicle for at least three days. The reason for the delay was explained away as a COVID problem. They also said that appointments are not made on sight and I was shown a wall full of appointments that were experiencing the same problem. I wouldn’t mind scheduling out a few months in advance if I would be assured that I wouldn’t have to leave my vehicle for more than a few hours. I took off work in order to make this appointment and the problem is still not fixed. If they knew this would be a problem, a phone call prior to the appointment explaining the issue and recommendations for a solution would have been nice and I wouldn’t loose out on a days pay. I understand the back log, but I don’t understand why a business would risk their reputation for a simple scheduling issue. If you can’t do it as promised, don’t have it scheduled.I would say that this was a one time issue; however, I remember that years ago, when my mother’s vehicle needed service or something small fixed, it would still require to be laid up for days. I was hoping that something has changed, but I guess not.I amended my review from one to two stars because the service personnel were friendly and professional. They seemed annoyed that they were being placed in a difficult position to deal with a scheduling issue that was clearly beyond their control. Ford still needs to fix this issue.

Dropped a 2007 Escape off for emergency repairs—it took a while for them to get to it but that was understandable. Pricing felt fair but opted out due to the age of the vehicle. Shout out to Devonte for the excellent customer service.

Car was taken in twice for same problem. The first time they didnt get to it for three days. Told me it was fixed. Less then a week later, same problem. The car has been there for a two days and no one has looked at it and they dont know if theyll get to it today. Why take the car in if you cant work on it?Got the car back after four days. Problem still not fixed.And the general manager never reached out.

I have brought my car here a few times over the past couple years and every time I have had an awful experience. This last time was one of the worst. I wish I could give zero stars. I took my car in on a Tuesday and it was not looked at for two weeks after that. Mind you, I had to pay for a rental car and when a loaner car was offered to me, it was gone. The dealership did take over the rental for the rest of the week but I feel like the service price was inflated to make up for the rental costs. The service advisor was not communicative at all. I constantly had to check in to see if my car was worked on and was given excuse after excuse. It doesnt make sense that I couldnt just use my car and drop it off when they actually needed to work on it considering the dealership in Yulee gave me a temporary solution for a bit. That needs to change if my car is going to sit in a lot for 2 weeks.My service advisor claimed she would make it right at the end but absolutely did not. I did not want to deal with that place for another second. I wish the staff has better communication skills because that is seriously lacking. I am so fustrated with my experience and will never take my car back.

Got my 2019 F250 oil changed today. What a wonderful experience.I did not have an appointment but Jennifer Easley squeezed me in, and got it done while I waited.The best part - Jennifer and everyone in the shop were polite, friendly and professional. I can not recommend this great crew enough.

2017 F150 limited original owner never had any issues. I take it in before the warranty ended. I get it back and the adaptive cruise control stops working while I am out of town. Course I can’t get back in till the day after my warranty ends. It’s okay when I bring it back they tell me it’ll be $2000.00 to fix. Cool. I tell thanks but no thanks. I pick it up and now sensors are all out of alignment and I’m getting warnings on the dash. I immediately turn around and tell them whatever they broke to fix it. They fixed it and oh wait now my adaptive cruise control works after they said I needed to spend 2000.00 for a whole new system. Again I’ve had this vehicle for 3 years with zero issues. First time bringing here and I have issues. Only reason I took it there in the first place to to update all of the computers. This place is scam and fraudulent place. When 2+2=4 the answer is 4. It is to much of a coincidence that the second I bring the truck in to update the software with the computers that said computer is now broken but now works again?Avoid at all costs

First the services I got:Transmission flush, coolant flush, brakes flush, new rear brakes, new cv axles, 4 new tiresTotal bill over 2200 dollarsThe bad:Four rims scuffed up horrendously, chunks of debris in brake fluid, coolant coating the entire engine bay and underside of the car. And I had to replace all the lugnuts as they were grinder down and a lug wrench would not fit over them anymore. They changed my oil which I did not ask for, the problem here is I change my own oil and had just done so a week before using royal purple oil and a kn filter, these are far superior then the motor craft oil/filter they used. The service director acted as if they did me a favor instead of wasting my $70 worth of oil/filter I had just installed.I had to make 4 trips to Coggin to deal with this!!!Terry the service advisor was fantastic, however, she was unable to do anything about the issues. David the service director came up with excuses and was zero help. He told me next time I bring my car in the would clean the wheels up.After four trips back and forth David should have offered to fix the problem on the spot or agree to a partial refund. This was not offered.I agree I should pay for all the new tires and parts put on my car. But I should have been offered a refund of some sort!!I am very disappointed if I wanted this kind of service I wouldn’t pay dealer prices I would go to jiffy lube!

Transmission tech worked on a mustang transmission, did not even test drive after completion, left the driveshaft loose only for it to come thru the floor board, damaging the car, see story from a service director on how the place is run and why they have gone thru 5 directors lately, theyshould close the doors. They can not retain employees, service managers, techs and advisors all leave, I wonder why.Good morningBy now Im sure youve all heard that I have my resignation. It truly was a pleasure working with all of you. I just cant be a puppet anymore. Coggin does not want a director in there . They want someone to be a puppet and do what they say when they say it and when it doesnt work place blame on that person. As you know I wasnt allowed to make the necessary changes needed to make the department successful . With the environment upper management put me in created a ton of stress and its no longer healthy for me to stay in that environment. I wish all of you much success.Please dont feel you cant call or text . Please do keep in touch. Love you all.Check this outhey are so great, that they have an audit coming and told all service advisors to hide your paperwork, why would they do that if they are so great, what are you hiding coggin, you already committed fraud against ford, what have you also done to your customers?

I gave this dealership a second chance after I was given the runaround and flat out lied to on my first visit. I decided to hold back on leaving a bad review hoping that was a one time thing. Came in for a full synthetic oil change and wanted them to look into a p0234 error code. Both items were mentioned when I scheduled the appointment. When I arrived for my appointment I was one of three vehicles in the service bay to check in yet I was being rushed by the service adviser. He seemed to be more worried about the coming afternoon rush than helping or listening to me as the customer that was right in front of him. He was brushing off the error code since it had already been cleared and insisted they could only do an oil change unless I left the vehicle overnight for them to look at it the next day. My appointment was at 2:30. I checked out at 4:15 based on the paperwork they did not use full synthetic. So the two items I specifically came in for were not resolved. I will drive further out of my way for ford service because I will not give this place a 3rd chance. Oh, and I did not appreciate the aggressive sales call after scheduling my appointment trying to get me to exchange my truck for a new one.

I had to arrange for my wife to drop my car off for recall repairs due to issues with my vehicles gas tank and specifically told them I had an issue with that recall, they saw that there were no codes popped for it and returned it to my wife 3 days later than they had initially told her without fixing the problem. On top of that when I later called to get a receipt of the work done so I could actually get my car fixed at a different dealer I was told that I they had gotten intouch with a service manager and would call me back to get a copy emailed over to me, 5 hours later I had to drive out to the dealership to get a copy of my receipt in person before they closed. Very disappointed with the lack of priority they have for their customers and complete disregard for both me and my vehicle. Take your business somewhere else if you want something done right the first time

Received a recall notice on my Ford Edge regarding the passenger airbag. Had a pleasant experience all around. Dropped off the vehicle early Friday morning, was assured the service would be complete by early afternoon. It was actually finished before 11am. Ken T. went out of his way to make sure I was informed about the progress, and walked me out to the vehicle, made sure I happy with the results. No attempt to up-sell me on unrelated services. The office is nice and modern, feels professional. The service was free so I dont know how their prices compare to non-dealers. If they are comparable, I may add this place to my list of future service providers.

Exceptional service by Kendall handled the Airbag recall and covered extended warranty repairs on my sons 2012 Fusion while he is deployed to the Middle East. It needed a lot of care and Ken and the all the Service staff exceeded my expectations. I dont know how the bad reviews happened I guess it depends on which service advisor you get in my case Kendall was 100% professional with a great calm manner under pressure from me and his boss. What a complete waste of my time going here!! We bought the car from here and prefer to service it here, but NEVER AGAIN!!! They DO NOT honor appointments and have the audacity to ask you to come back after waiting 2 hours!!! The new service manager is even more of a joke!! He had the nerve to blame the problem on the appointment scheduler!!! Well, if that was the problem didnt you know that when I arrived?!?!? COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY BECAUSE I HAD TO LEAVE WORK EARLY FOR NOTHING!!!!!UPDATE: I was asked by management to give Coggin another chance to serve me, and Im glad I did!! They rectified the problem, and gave great service!! Therefore, my rating has changed. We all deserve a 2nd chance! 😊

Brought my car in for an oil change and to take care of a couple recalls. Service was quick and friendly. That being said, they also told me my brakes and rotors needed to be replaced at a cost of several hundred dollars. Seemed odd since I hadnt been getting any of the classic signs of worn brake pads. I declined the service and had another mechanic look at it who told me my brakes were fine and and had only moderate wear.

Dropped it for service maintenance. When I got it back there was already a throttling sound in the driver side wheels. Returned it for check and they said that it was a loose connector and wanted to me to pay $140 to reconnect it. Who pays for a service induced problem? Y’all did the multipoint check which includes checking all the connector wires and assured in the report that it were all good now y’all say it’s due to loose connector and wanted me to pay for it? How y’all not see this during the first service. Sounded like they were just trying to make money out of it. It was fine before I left it there, then they let me pay for something they messed up during the service. Other than that they got my surname spelled wrong, I’ve been on this place 3x now and requested it updated and they always say they will update it. But they are still using the same damn wrong name up to now. Y’all broke my car and I’m not coming back. I paid right for the service done and I don’t deserve this treatment.

Really just an overall poor experience. I purchased my vehicle at this dealership and have only serviced it here. The service department is understaffed, unhappy, and generally terrible to work with. The service manager is even less pleasant than the service advisors.

Worst place i have ever been. Bought vehicle here 2 1/2 years ago. The vehicle rattle in the door started after 6 months. Have taken in 6 times now, always different part to order & come back for. Now ac not working & they said they could not even get a tech to it today even though i had an 8am appointment. Nobody here friendly but thought it would be in better care where i bought it.

Had my car in for a diagnostic and would have been charged $420 for the problem. Decided not to get it fixed and YouTubed the problem. After a $33 part, had it fixed in almost 2 minutes. Glad to see there are still untrustworthy people in the world. Wont be back!

Dissapointed after telling me they dont have the tire and to go to tire kingdon and then they told me only ford can honor the tire insurance but they can still order the tire from tire kingdom.went back an they sent me to a different tire place the otha place said the same thing so i went back to ford and they said they dont know what to tell me now im still ridin around on a donut because im not gonna pay for a tire after i paid almost 500$ for the insurance. Real dissapointed on how much time and gas i wasted in this damn heat. I wouldnt stop there again to use the bathroo..

Went on line to make service appointment for oil change, A/C check & fix horn. Was informed someone would call me back with details. 24 hrs.later no call and no eMail. Therefore I called Service Dept. on Friday directly to make appmt. for following week Wedn.- again employee told me I would be called back with a time. It is now noon on Saturday and no one called or sent email. I guess they dont need the business- I will go elsewhere. Used them for service on my truck in past, which was satisfactory. WHAT HAPPENED? New Management?

Took my car to them on Monday recieved a quote with a 300% mark up of all the parts. I acquired the parts from another place. It seems like since I acquired the parts from another place my car isnt a priority to get fixed. They recieved all the parts they say that my car needed on Wednesday. I called on Friday at 11 am and they say my car was missing a part but they have it in stock. I told them to use their part to fix the car. He said he would call at 4pm to give a staus but never called. I called back at 6pm and I was told that my car would not be available until Monday because they dont have the part I needed in stock and they had to order it. I asked to speak to the General Manager and was told they dont have a General Manager, I then asked to speak to the manager on duty and was told that they left for the day. I then asked for the Corporate Office Number and was told they dont have a Corporate Office. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

8 days. Been without my truck for 8 days. Your truck shop is either incompetent, or just doesnt care. Ill never set foot in your establishment again, and Ill make sure to let everyone who will listen know. After the first trip when you kept my f350 for 4 days and got nothing accomplished, my dumbass came back, expecting to get service. What I got was apologies for poor service, and 30% of what should have been done left incomplete. However, I did get a brand new gash down the passenger door, along with a nice dent. All of that on the door that was supposed to have been repaired. Even your technicians know how bad the service is.
