So disappointing to say the least. We bought homeowners insurance from this company and THEY made the mistake of not including theft in our policy and now they refuse to give us what is rightfully ours. We filled out an application that says check here if you want basic perils coverage so we checked that box. Then it says check if you want to exclude theft we did not check that box. Unfortunately we had a break in and now they are refusing to reimburse us on this loss because apparently their definition of basic perils varies from others and we were suppose to know this? Its clear as day we applied for theft. The policy that was sent to us via email did not say we were or were not covered for theft so I could only assume we were all set since that is what we asked for. We reached out to Katie to ask for her help in this matter and she said sorry we cant help you and then stopped responding to us all together! I would not recommend using this company they have very deceitful practices and horrible customer support.
