Dead fish on the floor they look like theyve been there for days. Some were smashed.

Came in 15 minutes till closing and got this Gecko. They were more concerned with closing on time, which I get. But we were standing in the same spot and knew what we wanted for about 10 minutes. No help, suggestions, recommendations or anything. But hey, hopefully we got the right stuff?

Helpful, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I never have to look for someone to help me, usually someone is only a row away. Frequently they are there, do you need some help . Very high praise indeed in this day where everywhere we go, I listen to excuses for poor behavior and work ethics as so sorry we are short staffed.

Had to travel a long way but it was well worth it my fish are good and they are happy. Thanks pet smart

Grooming is now terrible at PetSmart Jackson. Do not book with Erin or you will be sorry. The current employees do not care. Jamie used to groom our dog and did a great job. Dropped my dog off to be groomed and 3.5 hours later got a call that she had been half way done but could not be completed because she moved too much. Gets groomed every 2 months and never a problem. Picked her up and took her straight to another groomer that finished the job no problem. The issue is laziness. It was going to be difficult so they just said screw it who cares. I wont be back.

Went to buy aquarium supplies, with the pandemic, were out of some things. We were able to buy most of what we needed. The young lady was helpful. Checkout was fast.

Made an appointment for only a nail file for my dog about 5 days in advance. Took my dog in and they said it would take 2-3 hours for a nail file that should only take 15 minutes even though we had an appointment. They gave no explanation for why it took so long and they only started filing when we complained about how long it was taking after 2.5 hours. Not taking my dog back here.

No one greeted us coming in even though employees were standing there. The store had ZERO fish and when we were leaving empty handed no one asked us if we needed help finding what we were looking for.

Have purchased two baby guinea pigs from here and they end up with skin issues/ringworm. The first one we brought back to exchange because of skin issues and the new guinea pig has the same thing. Im not sure if they are changing the guinea pigs bedding enough at the store

I hate leaving bad reviews and wish I could rate them with zero stars, but I have had two bad experiences with their grooming station and I feel that I need to tell others about it. I have a 3lb Pomeranian, with teeth the size of a tiny pebble and when I say tiny when she nips you it does not hurt at all, that is very feisty I admit, but still, she is three pounds and could not hurt a fly. We had been taking her to petsmart for quite a while so they knew her and how she acts. The first bad experience happened when I was getting ready to drop her off for grooming. I came in, my dog did what she usually does, she will snap at them and get very feisty. This particular day they refused to groom her and told us that if they were to groom her and she bit one of them they will put her down. I was so shocked and angry and ended up not bringing her for a while. Fast forward almost a year later we ended up having to bring her again and everything was going fine until about last Monday. My dog was not spade until this situation forced her to have to get spade. I dropped her off to be groomed and she was being her normal self, feisty, energetic, all the things that make her who she is. Well later that day I came to pick her up and I picked up an entirely new dog. My dog was not being feisty, she was not eating, and she groaned every time we would lift her. I called back to make sure there was no switch up with dogs and they said they only groomed one black Pomeranian so I left it alone. I decided to give her a day and if she was not back to normal I would take her to the vet. She was still not being herself so that morning I woke up and took her. We got there and found out she had developed an infection over night that could possibly make her uterus burst and kill her and that they had to do emergency surgery so that my dog could live. We let them perform the surgery and the doctors said that something had to have happened to her at petsmart because her insides were all out of whack, it was worst than they thought before they cut into her. Basically while my dog was in their care another dog may have penetrated her and because she is so small, just got out of heat, and was not spade it may have caused the infection in her uterus to come. Petsmart will never get a penny of my money again and I just wanted to warn others of their negligence while caring for my dog.

I really like Petsmart way more than Petco

I was given an appointment at 8am in the morning on a Sunday And the groomer wasn’t there to let me in to drop my pet off. My usual groomer was Jamie but when I called in for an appointment I was told she didn’t work there anymore and I was assured that the groomer that gunner Wes placed with would do as good of job as Jamie but I was disappointed. The cut was choppy looking and everyone notice the difference in the cut plus I was charged $62 and some change when I normally pay $54. Jamie is truly missed.

Disagree all you good for is grooming small dogs!!! I needed help and they showed me to the doctor plus the door!! We had all our shots up to date!!!

I have pet shopping with Petsmart for years and they always have what I need

These were some beautiful colored parakeets. They brought back some wonderful memories of my grandmothers screened in porch with a couple of parakeets. I would love for Jackson pet stores to have puppies to look at. And I think if they brought some strays, they could actually sell them and give them good homes. Just a thought.

The pet grooming is great! A wide variety of clean pets and I do mean clean. I would of gave them 5stars but only one register was open and the line was getting long concerning the 6feet apart rule. I think get the customer in and out happy and satisfied quick as possible.

Today I called to confirm my appointment with Jamie only to be told that she is no longer with the company. That was a crushing blow because my dog interacts great with her. But no one called to inform or reschedule my appointment. To be honest the lady who answered seemed very unconcerned. Jamie was a great associate....not taking away from the others...but she was great. She always addressed concerns like she cared. Ill be finding another groomer.

My cat needs chill pills and pets smart had something along those lines and a super pretty kitty who needs adopting.😉

The staff is always nice here. I do wish they would kick out all the people with aggressive dogs though as this can ruin other dogs training. though I guess thats what the security guys are for.

I had a buy online pick up in store order- which I never got the email for it being ready I just popped in and it just so happened to be ready. The staff is so ghetto, definitely will not return. I’ll take my business to Hollywood Feed and Petco where they have better options, sales, items, and customer service.

No customer service what so ever.. was treated horribly. Was followed by security guard like I was trying to steal something...come on now, how is someone going to take a fish out of its water and put it in my pocket and walk out the door with it.. never doing business there again. They lost a $25 sell

Pet Smart is a pretty awesome! Each time Ive gone in to handle business about my pet Ive always had a pleasant experience, from medical care to grooming, the level of concern and customer care were up to par. I would recommend anyone that has a pet or is ever interested to visit Pet Smart they wouldnt be disappointed; My experiences have been pleasant each time and I go in there pretty often. I will never use Petsmarts grooming service again. Those women are nasty and rude. The lady with the lazy eye hits animals with brushes. Then, acts if she does nothing wrong. They lie about appointment times. When questioned they get attitudes. If my pick up time is 2 hours, dont lie & be rude when I show up. Then, argue to say go to the person that gave out the information. You either wait another 2 hours or take your dog & leave. That was the wrong thing to say, my baby has not been back since. I refuse their phone calls & emails about promotions to bring her back.

Took my Yorkie here... Had a 930 apt... Showed up 10 min early and still had to wait 20 min... They came out and told me my dog didnt have apt.... Then said we will check again... Finally found her apt info... They are so unprofessional.. And my dog looked terrible after being groom... We took her to Fondren Pet Salon... They are amazing.... They care about your pet there... These ppl do not... They are ghetto as hell and could card less... DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE.... THEY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always shopped at PetSmart for the many toys and varied foods they carry. My animal is 14 years old now and is on a renal support diet which a prescription is required. I appreciate the support and friendliness of the staff and enjoy the animals.

I love them I’ve taken both dogs here . I love banifield and there affordable pet plan. The grooming salon is great if there’s a mistake they will fix it free of charge! It’s my favorite place to shop for my dog because I know all her needs will be met !

Nobody around to help you if you need it, maybe because its a Saturday 🤷🏾‍♀️ but there was no cashier present and I had to wait for him to come from where ever he was about (5/10 mins)
