Love this place like a family very professional π thank you so much β€ π coming for many years...always the same...keep up with the good work...
I started working out here a couple of weeks ago. The receptionist Mrs. Cathy is a blessing. Everyday with her is inspiration. Love it here.
I enjoy water aerobics each morning g with five of my friends who have joined also.
All if your therapy needs are met here at the Baptist Healthplex. The staff is professional and courteous, there are fitness classes, a great track for walking, water aerobics, Jacuzzi, and physical therapy. I give it 5 stars!!!β€β€β€
Staff has not been helpful concerning a membership problem. I had to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office of Consumer Protection.
Great place to workout. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Has plenty of workout equipment and up to date machines. Need a basketball court. Staff said they were in the process of getting a new basketball court soon.
Love it!! There are so many different ways to get a workout in here! I love the pool!!!! Although, I wished there was a different spot for the swimming lessons to be done. I feel as though the coach stares hoping I would get out till shes done....
The aerobics instructors are awesome!! I love every class I have ever attended there!
There is a track for running, treadmill, and it fits my fitness needs. Its not too crowded when Ive gone after 5. Spin class was pretty fun. Serves its purpose.
I love working out here. And the staff are trained fitness professionals.
I was going for water therapy but Im joining because I fell in love with it!! Ill be going for fitness!!
Great staff and facilities.
The best place to exercise
Fantastic if you like dim lighting, old machines and feelings like you are in a 1960 hospital. See photos for the locker room hallway and whirlpool
Verygood
Not the best lifting gym but awesome for a quieter, spa like experience. The pool is warm, the hot tub is big and inviting and there are few if any children about. Its an awesome gym for the older crowd as the pool has a ramp, the floors have mats and rugs, there are two handicap showers (at least in the womens) that have chairs. The cardio equipment has something for everyone no matter your fitness level. The only 2 drawbacks are the hours are short, especially on the weekends. Again, older folks probably wont have an issue with this and they do open incredibly early. The other drawback is if you are a powerlifter they dont have but one squat rack and no dedicated deadlift platform or area. The dumbbell area can get tight. That young man in the pic for this gym, is Lorenzo, one of their trainers. Hes a really awesome trainer but hes now out at the Clinton location. Just fyi. One of the trainers at the Manship location is AJ. Shes a good trainer, really into Tabata.Parking is covered in a garage, down side is that if you are claustrophobic you cant park up top on the weekends and use the elevator because the security guard turns it off because he doesnt want to deal with those levels. I realize claustrophobia is a niche problem, but there you go. But for those of you without that problem you never have to walk in the rain there. You do have to deal with a lot of tight parking lot maneuvers with people who dont know how to drive their huge cars, though.Water aerobics classes are big and popular. Zumba sometimes does the glowsticks. Again, its more a spa like place rather than hard core lifting or crossfit type stuff.
Offers water aerobics, inside track and workout roomGreat staff.
No body shaming. Everyone is welcome.
I enjoy the atmosphere of this location.
This healthplex is rather large and caters to both the Baptist staff and guests that work hard to stay fit and be healthy.
