My husband and I took two items to this store for alterations. I took my favorite jeans because the zipper needed to be replaced, and most importantly I took my husbands white coat to get fixed. We told the owner the jacket was too tight on the elbows and the embroidery was being blocked by the collar. She explained that she would cut one pocket, create a patch and new embroidery and sew on the inside to cover the old embroidery. We agreed and asked if we paid when picking up the clothing, she explained that we have to pay before hand, so we did. Upon our arrival of picking up the clothing, the elbows were expanded and felt better, but theres a significantly large hole she left without stitching (which we didnt find until we came home). The worst part is, she removed the old embroidery, used that and created a patch and stitch the through the front of the white coat. Theres tons of little strings hanging off, and different sewing patterns all over the front of the coat. Saying it looks terrible, does not do it justice. This white coat was a graduation present and cost me $160, I paid $78 to get it fixed and she completely ruined the coat. I have spent all day today trying to salvage what is possible to avoid throwing the whole thing away. I am so upset at the owner of this establishment for providing such horrible quality service. I would have preferred for her to tell me that she could not do the job. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all cost, unless you like to waste clothing and lots of money.

Excellent. I go there for all my alteration needs. From my family to friends. I always recommend them to whoever in need of a seamstress. They are the best. Clothes that are too small or too big. They always seems to know what to do. Prom season around the corner. I suggest to all the young high school ladies to go there to get their perfect fit alteration dress fitted right for prom.🤙🤙

I called just for an inquiry about possibly letting out a dress. I told her I just had questions and wanted to know if she charged a rush fee to let out a bridesmaid gown for next week. She said I don’t know what you look like, it’s too much of a risk for me and I don’t even “wanna fool wit it”. Instead she could have simply said ma’am I would need you to come in to get an accurate measurement and see whether or not the dress can even be let out. No thank you. Professionalism people. I was willing to pay whatever the fee was already understanding the risk I’d be taking.

Prices are the best in the area by far. My bridesmaid dress now fits perfectly. It took 1 week maybe less. It was a quick, convenient, and friendly experience!

The best alteration place! The owner was very nice and did an outstanding job on my bridesmaid dress. The alteration was perfect! I was so impressed with her skills because all other places I went to said that nothing could be done to fix my dress. She fixed it in a very timely manner. I definitely recommend this place!

My alterations were the best, my expectations were superseded. I would recommend anyone that needs minor or extensive alterations to visit this place. Prompt professional courteous and a job well done. I am so glad that I found this place, again thank you for a great job.

I have never had to write a poor review before, but unfortunately, this was one of the most unprofessional experiences I have had with a embroidery businesses.I bought a $50 jacket for me to wear in a professional environment at the hospital. I also bought a $10 emblem to be place on the jacket. I brought the jacket to this establishment to get my name and title added on and an emblem. It (to be in the same color as the emblem) was going to cost $37 to add my name and title and stitch on the emblem on, which was already the most expensive embroidery I have paid for, but I was assuming I would get good quality.We were informed that they would need to keep my jacket for 5 days to complete the work. We were informed on the 5th day, 1 hour before we were due to pick it up, that they were unable to perform the embroidery as my name with title was too long (15 letters-which I have on many other professional attire). We discussed making it a smaller font and they indicated that would work but take at least another day. I was very confused as to why it took them almost the full 5 days before letting me know there was an issue.The next day when we pick up the jacket- letters in my name are smushed together and run together and the emblem looks like it was sewn on in a hurry. The letters for my name and title also did not match the color of the emblem. Definitely not a jacket I could ever wear in a professional atmosphere. We asked for the $37 back, as the product we paid for was not usable and now I wasted $60 dollars on a jacket and emblem that can no longer be used, and they only partially refunded.I will not be returning to this business and recommend others to look elsewhere if needing any embroidery done.

Going to Perfit Alterations is always a pleasant experience for me, I have taken several of my clothing there to be altered. The staff is always very polite and knowledgeable; I would definitely recommend this place for everyone.
