Many of those in attendance today at the AARP VETERANS TOWNHALL at the BILOXI CIVIC CENTER from 11-1 pm may not do Facebook or Google reviews so I will for them.I am 57 and was one of the youngest AARP member here.There were 5 Speakers discussing Veterans Benefits and issues.They had THE SHED BBQ from Ocean Springs Cater.And they had some door prizes.I would add that an opportunity was missed.1). Should advertise at VA, and some other local veteran locations to get more younger (50-60s) Vets to come.Then have a booth set up for MEMBERSHIP. I joined AARP when accompanying my Mom at the LAS VEGAS CONVENTION a while back.Joined for like 6 years.
