I cannot say enough good things about cobblestone! Front office staff, nurses, and vets alike have been wonderful to work with - including expertly navigating a recent severe and distressing course of illness with our sweet cat Sophie. On multiple occasions each of the vets, (Dr. Ellsworth, Dr. Peng, and Dr. Russell) made themselves available to guide Sophie’s care and the seeming daily twists and turns. they made the time to help Sophie and me even though on several occasions these unscheduled needs occurred at extremely in-opportune moments! The most attentive, kind, trusting, and reliable vet ever. We live in SLU and still choose to drive to Issaquah because they are worth it. We are the first time pet owners. Our friends (with furry babies) use other Vets in the area. We took a chance signing up with Cobblestone based on the location (for convenience) and online reviews. We are so glad we did.The staff and Dr. were so polite and professional. The first visit went flawlessly and we got all the information we were looking for.In-fact one of the staff (I believe she was the nurse, not sure) stayed with my wife keeping her company and answering her questions while I was running a few minutes late to pick her up.

The staff are incredibly friendly and they have taken good care of our 3 dogs and 4 cats over the past years. They have an excellent perspective on geriatric animals and do not push an inappropriate level of care like many other vets in the area do. These folks care about you and your pets!

Cobblestone is a wonderful vet clinic. The vets, techs, and all staff are caring, and friendly. They have always found time to deal with emergencies, and are fast and efficient for regular checkups. Today was a hard day for my family. We had to put down our fur-baby of 17yrs. The area experienced wide spread power outages due to a windstorm and our regular vet, had no power and was trying to get the office open. Needing to do something quicker, we called a few area vets who were not willing to help with a new patient. We called Cobblestone and they could not have been nicer! Got us in right away, were kind and compassionate! Wonderful experience and I highly recommend! If I get another kitty, I will go here! They are so kind and helpful. They remember you and your pet and will answer basic questions on the phone instead of always making you come in.Most importantly, they have taken excellent care of my pup. She was spayed there and you could barely tell she had surgery after the first day. They always call or email to follow up to make sure your animal is responding well and feeling better after any treatment.

Do not come here, they only want to take a lot of money from you with no additional care for the premium price they charge.I’ve come here for services and know the price is a premium but still thought it was worth it. The ladies here are nice enough, but are very unhurried. I had an emergency surgery (4k-6k in the ER) needed for in a possible life or death situation and called a minute before they opened at 8:00A to see if they can accommodate, and they said they needed to check their doctor and will call back as soon as they can. I called 2 more times with them providing the same response, and didn’t get a call back until 11:30A which just before they called, I was desperate and had already called another hospital which quickly canceled their other non-emergency appointments so I can bring the patient in. Also, worse yet, their quote for the surgery was half of the ER cost. The hospital that I was not even a client with, who responded right away and understood our need and urgency as well as moved their schedule in order to bring the patient in, charged me $1,500. I am a lifetime customer there now.

Cobblestone Animal Hospital is wonderful. They have great pandemic precautions In place and they treat your animals like family members. Dr Erin Russel is the best vet I have ever used and there have been many over my 60 years of pet ownership. I highly recommend this practice.

Update to review below: Dr. Peng reached out to me to discuss the below experience. She was very apologetic and empathetic to our experience. I feel everyone deserves a chance to correct their mistakes and we are giving them another try. The pandemic has created chaos for everyone and the veterinarians were not spared.The vet is very nice and initially everything seemed fine. However, after my kittens first check up, I was asked to bring them back a few days later for a vaccine rather than them just doing the vaccine while we were already there. Okay, perhaps that was for a reason. Following the next visit, I received an email with a quote for spaying and microchipping when my pets were already clearly spayed and they already had the microchip number. The next visit I was notified that I can pick up an animal that I didnt own. The thing that drove the decision to switch vets was taking my pets in for a vaccine and being verbally told they received it and then receiving a notification that they needed that vaccine. When I called to correct the mistake I was told they were given a vaccine I had declined and not received the vaccine they were supposed to. I dont feel my pets are safe here since they cant seem to keep their records straight.

As a house call veterinarian, I do not have surgical capability at this time. When my little 15 year old dog developed a tooth abscess, they worked in her emergency dental under anesthesia on a Saturday afternoon, and during Covid with heavily booked schedules that is not an easy thing. Pixie did very well with her anesthesia and procedure and feels much better. It is not always easy to work on another veterinarians pet, but everyone handled the details so well, I really appreciate it. I would highly recommend Cobblestone to provide care for anyones pets.

Made our first visit to Cobblestone AH and it was nothing shy of great! I have seen Dr. Peng in the past at another office and loved having her as our trusted vet, so I was happy to see she has her own clinic now! This visit we saw Dr. Ellsworth who listened and addressed all of my many concerns with our 15 year old aging lab and got her on meds to resolve some of the issues she was experiencing and ease my mind. Great communication and experience from everyone we interacted with, both in person and over the phone. Theres also an app which I would strongly encourage people to sign up for. It is a SUPER convenient way to help with appts, med refills and messaging. Wish I would have come here sooner but definitely will be back! Wonderful team at Cobblestone!

Love how we were treated when our sweet kitty of 20+ years came to the end of her long full life. They tried to offer a glimmer of hope but the rainbow bridge called for our Angel. And she died peacefully at our home. We have continued with their care with our lab Buck and now our new little girl puppy Penny. Love the office and all the helpers, and Winnie is a loving and caring doctor. We will definitely be recommending Cobblestone to friends.

I’ve been taking my dogs to cobblestone for about a year now. I’ve loved this vet. They’re clean and kind. Every time I’ve been treated by this vet for a non routine appointment they call back the next day to check how my dog is doing with the medication and if I have any follow up questions. I’ve had to take my dogs in to other emergency vets and cobblestone always reaches out to check in my beasts when they’re told my dog had an emergency visit. I find this to be exemplary customer service. They really care about the animals. They’re upfront about pricing when I had to bring my dogs in for immunizations and they’re yearly exam they were great about breaking down 1) why each shot was important 2) how much it costs.

We are grateful for the wonderful care they provide our pets. Our dog, McLovin is a very nervous dog. They take the extra time with him, to give him time to adjust and calm down.

Had a great experience bringing our new puppies here for the first time! They squeezed in an extra appointment at the last minute, and took as long as we wanted to answer our questions. Knowledgeable about brachycephalic dogs & Mary was so kind and patient! Looking forward to coming back!

Dr. Peng and all of the staff at Cobblestone are absolutely wonderful to work with. I found Cobblestone by happenstance when our golden retriever was having some alarming GI symptoms, and they were the only clinic in the area that was able to squeeze him in that day. Dr. Peng went above and beyond for us during the diagnostic process and was communicative and straight-forward about our treatment options and associated pricing. When it became clear that our dog would likely need an ultrasound at a specialty hospital, she even went out of her way to call the hospital in advance to try and make sure that our exam would be done that day, by the hospital radiologist. Unfortunately it didnt work out that day and we had to go in the next day instead, but even then Dr. Peng made sure our golden had plenty of subcutaneous fluids to keep him stable overnight before we went home. To top it all off, because it was our first visit, Dr. Peng waived the exam fee and even gave us a gorgeous canvas tote bag full of Cobblestone goodies to take home.Since that day we have continued taking our two dogs to Cobblestone, and plan on doing so in the future when we can (even though we have recently moved to Spokane)! We love Cobblestone and highly recommend Dr. Peng to anyone looking for a vet who is kind, informative, and thorough. Thank you Cobblestone!!! :D

After my vet of 10 years retired, I was looking for a vet not part of a large chain. I tried another vet locally and after the first visit knew she was not what I wanted. Then I went to Cobblestone after several recommendations, and so very happy I did! Cannot day enough good things.

I brought my recently adopted cat in for a somewhat alarming case of worms and the owners of this beautifully clean and professional looking practice were exceedingly kind to both my cat and myself. Very pleased with our first trip to this clinic! Our cat has never been a fan of going to the vet but here he was quite relaxed and and not too stressed. My dog has been a patient of Dr. Peng’s for a few years now, and we are always so grateful for the great care we receive. She’s one of the best veterinarians my dog has had, and I am so excited she is now located in Issaquah. Her brand new office is beautiful with tons of windows and natural light. If you get the room in the back, you even get a beautiful serene view of the stream that’s located right behind the building. Her staff is also super awesome - so friendly and welcoming. If anyone is looking for a good vet, you should definitely give them a call!

Wow! What an amazing experience. I had a little difficulty finding the building, so I called the office and Julie came outside to guide me. She is awesome. The office is so special. I love how immaculate (Im a germaphobe) each room is. It is on the river, with a beautiful, peaceful view. The artwork is fun too! Batman (my kitty) and I met Winnie (The Dr.) next. She was amazing. So welcoming, and made us so comfortable. Batman needed a little procedure, and I was amazed at how comfortable she was. She was cuddling up to Erica, Dr.s assistant, while I watched in disbelief. All of the planned treatment for Batman is necessary. She has issues with her oral hygiene. Im in this profession, so after being shown her condition, I am definitely on board. Good prices. I just recently became a visitor at the Cobblestone Hospital when my sweet dog suddenly became ill. I admit I first went there because its location was super close to my new apartment, but now I have to believe it was a kind of wonderful fate that brought their new offices so close. Bringing my girl in to what I believed would be a simple UTI ended up turning into a heartbreaking affair with complete liver failure. Dr. Peng and everyone at the office was absolutely amazing in helping me understand, get help and try to treat my sweet Dia. Unfortunately she did not respond to treatment and the hardest choice had to be made. Even in this the clinic went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly and try to make me feel less guilty for failing my sweet girl. I will highly recommend everyone to this office, even though it didnt work out for me I wouldnt hesitate to go here again with my other dog. Thank you for your wonderful assistance!
