I’ve been here for about nine months and love my unit, it has a great layout. The community has great amenities including a gym, a pool, and playground. I really appreciate the extra storage in my garage, the maintenance and cleanliness on site. There were some bumps at the beginning but Enrique and Josh helped make up for it with their responsiveness to all service requests over the last few months. I love walking around Highland Drive, there’s so much to explore and the location is so close to so many restaurants and great stores plus the transit center.

I love this community, the scenery, and how close it is to everything. The renovated apartments are nice yet overpriced. However, the most negative elements are as follows:The neighboring community has used and vandalizes our amenities. This summer, they were throwing the recliners and other furniture into the pool. Within my first year here, there was domestic violence and gunshots in the building across from me, and then again last night. Some of the new residents have stolen packages, bikes, and other items; and as of recent, multiple cars have been broken into and vandalized. The community has not install cameras (even though requested by multiple residents) and has not fixed the lights, leaving entire sections of the community pitch black, unsafe, and easily targeted.

Update. Let me be a little more clear, the mold is all around the 916 building. Probably because they haven’t replaced the beauty bark since I moved in here almost 3 yrs ago. And now there’s a $10 fee when paying rent. It’s the little things…I’m no landscaper but I’m pretty sure dirt is supposed to be brown, not green. Added some photos for your viewing. This is from outside my patio and my neighbors patioHaving loud barking dogs that are supposed to be on the banned list is a whole different issue. But I will leave it at that.If you like getting woken up every day by barking dogs at 6am then this is the place for you! Combined with the mold all over the property makes this one of the most disgusting places to live.. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Maintenance at the complex is great; very responsive and friendly. One maintenance tech in particular, Josh is impeccable. Aside from Josh being a genuinely nice person he is also very knowledgeable and takes time to educate us on the items he is fixing. We have had a few updates occur while being here and the maintenance crew has been awesome and accommodating, as well as communicative. Josh and Enrique are both incredible and thorough, patient, and quick to problem solve. The folks at the office were so welcoming the first time we visited and continue to keep in contact to make certain we are cozy in our new home. Let me begin with thank god I avoiding moving here. Do NOT move here. I put a deposit down for a 2 bedroom 1 bath back in January. We werent moving until tomorrow and had already signed a lease for a 2 bedroom 1 bath. We emailed them 10 days ago with our rental insurance and additional questions about move in that any property manager would know the answers too. I showed up yesterday to get clarification before we moved in 1 day, and we had found out that they had given our apartment away to someone else. But then proceeded to tell us that a 2 bedroom 2 bath was available. But 200 more a month. Im so glad I didnt show up Saturday with a truck full of stuff and nowhere to move into. Also the property manager that helped yesterday was zero help and completely disrespectful.

Wish I could give a negative star. Horrible experience. Even after paying the lease buyout of two months for early termination of contract and acknowledging that last payments would be made by me even after leaving the country I ended up closing the account with a debt collection agency. A total rip-off property. Cheap quality material used to build homes but will charge you a ton as if it was a 7star resort. Walls are so thin that you can basically listen what’s happening next door. Squeaky floors, Dark Rooms. May be 1Star that I give is for the Maintenance Guys who would actually work hard. Not friendly Admin staff, specially one of the Manager’s named Christina, a pretentious and uninformed lady. I leased this apartment online without actually seeing the apartment due to the time constraint and they just capitalized the situation by ripping me off at every nook and corner. Ive been looking for a new apartment recently and I saw this place had a pretty good deal on new leases. Unfortunately now I understand why they have to offer a good deal, because you cant even get ahold of anyone or get a tour when you schedule one online. I called 3 separate times over the week and never had anyone answer, never even to a set up voicemail. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and scheduled a tour online, except when I got there, no one was even in the office. I waited for 25 minutes and called twice and no one answered (yet again). After that I just gave up and left. I have never been to an apartment complex where I felt like no one respected me as a potential customer. The lack of communication and unprofessionalism is frankly ridiculous.

Poor experience at this property and the monthly turnover of management doesnt help. The walls are paper thin and it makes all the residents turn against each other creating a horrific environment. The apartments and property is run down and is not taken care of. We want to leave but are stuck in a lease with a 4k move out penalty that we cant afford. Total nightmare scenario. The new property owners have not been any better at managing the horrible conditions!

Staggeringly inept managment under the new ownership group. They have been on the premises for 3 weeks, but have yet to have their phones working properly. Unable to keep track of which residents have paid rent; so their tactic is to place notices on random doors, alleging tenants are late, without any proof. Then when the tenant comes in to contest the notice, they seem fully aware that many tenants have been inaccurately targeted. Heres a tip... Dont waste your Tennants time with wild goose chases, simply because you cant properly document payments.

Have been living here since Jan 2016 and overall love the place, primarily because of the location and the folks in the Leasing Office and Maintenance. Here are some helpful pointers from my own experience:PROS1. Biggest plus for me - the location! I take the bus into Seattle for work and love the 4 min walk to the Highlands Park & Ride. The available amenities within 10 min walk (Safeway, UPS, Marshalls, Dicks etc.) just make it super easy for the family2. Natural beauty - we love the highlands and its proximity to nature. It feels great to be among the clouds! On a bright day, the views are awesome!3. Management/Maintenance - from the day I came in for a tour till date, I had a very positive experience with the folks in the office. Casey and Jessica were really great in the office (Casey is now gone sadly) and Chris and John attend pretty quickly to all our service requests.4. Price - After doing quite a bit of research I found the price to be pretty competitive for this new community and loved the fact that they let us renew with no rate hikes this year!CONS1. Quality of apartments - while the units and the property are pretty new, the quality of internal fixtures/doors etc. is not great! We needed to make frequent calls to fix these things (which they did quickly though!)2. Parking - I love that they have shaded assigned parking spots for residents, but certainly guest parking is quite limited. If folks know about the Park&Ride structure, that will help.3. Maintaining the green - I dont own a pet but pet owners can be a bit more considerate! Uncollected Dog poops are pretty consistently seen on the green grass; and the amount of rain we get here just makes things worse. Management sends an occasional email but may be they can do a bit more?

We recently moved out of this complex after living in it for five years. Will be updating this review to reflect it fully. We have lived in Issaquah Terrace for over four years now ever since this community was still being built. It was a great place to live with new amenities, top notch office staff, and extremely professional and awesome maintenance staff. Over time the office staff has changed a few times, but was always replaced by another great team that always made us feel welcome in the community. Unfortunately staff changed again a few months back and the quality of service took a huge hit. They let go of the fantastic maintenance manager Chris who has been here for the four years we lived here and was loved by every resident in the community due to his friendly character and prompt response to every maintenance request. The new Office staff is cold, pushy, and does not seem to care when reached with a request. The property itself is deteriorating, the lights in the pool and the parking spots next to it in front of our building have not been working since late Spring and have not been fixed. I can go on, but besides the convenient location next to the transit center, this complex is no longer attractive to live in.

As you might see there are a lot of problems with this complex. Parking is beyond terrible. You only get 1 spot and the garage in front of it. That means when you have two people who work everyday, unless you leave and get home at the exact time, you will have to move one car out of the way every morning and put it back in your spot when you get your car out...everyday. Cars get towed all the time, so I wouldnt try to cheat. This place has been under construction for far too long. Drilling, sawing, jack-hammering and large tractors are a regular (for some reason). The cost of the apartments go up every month because everyone pays a community cost for garbage etc. And they are already completely overpriced for the quality. The photos look good and the initial once over was ok but when you live here, you realize how cheap everything actually is. Kitchen cabinets are cheap veneer and never close properly. Dont even get me started on cleaning them, they are worse than stainless steel. The noise is a really big thing. Its not the people whom you share walls with but the people above/below you. The biggest noises are the stairs and the cars. You can literally hear every step on the stairs, no matter how light or what floor and I live on the top.The management is nice, I havent had any dealings with them unlike some of the other reviews. The neighbors are all relatively nice and respectful, except the number of teenagers in the complex whom you catch doing teenage things in all hours of the night, so Id keep your cars locked. Many of the apartments dont get any sun either, so you will see a whole host of empty units, that they will try to rent by giving you a free large screen TV (not worth it).Bottom line, I could go on but I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere. Dont be wooed by the pretty pictures. Ask to walk through the apartment before you sign. I would recommend some of the other apartments. They are less expensive and equal in quality (just not brand new).

Pretty typical apartments for the area, but there are a couple big drawbacks to this place.#1 Theres very little guest parking and its constantly taken up by residents. I see the same cars parked in the guest spots week in and week out, yet management does nothing despite this being against the rules.#2 One of the neighboring properties uses a fireplace or wood stove for heating, this often blankets the north end of the complex in a smoke cloud during the winter. I cant blame the neighbor for this as they were here first, nor can I really blame the complex as theres no real way to fix this. It just is what it is.

DONT BE FOOLED. 18 months post opening and this place is still one giant construction zone. Rusty saws on the ground in the dog park, shovels rakes and picks near the playground and garbage left by the construction workers daily. The apartments themselves were clearly built by the lowest bidder (this whole are was a retention pond before construction). The building foundations are just now settling and doors wont close and there are visible cracks in the paint from the foundation sinking. To top it all off, parking is absolutely atrocious. Hundreds of units in the complex and never enough parking. Roads are too tight and forget anything but an ATV in these garages. The management will TOW WITH NO WARNING - $500 FINE. Theres about 10 guest spots on the property (constantly abused by guests), so forget having friends over or they will be towed. Overall, anywhere they can skimp and abuse their tenants to make some extra cash, this complex does so. Save money and move up the hill, much better experience.
