Very courteous staff and they go the extra mile for customers. My friend took her car there for an oil change and it was done on time. Very nice front desk rep Mr John, he makes the experience worth it.Prices are good as well and to note they do service most brands of cars including Porsche.
Just needs to water proof the envelope for overnight drop off. They was all wet
Midas has been my go to for auto repairs for years now regardless of year / make of our vehicles . I always thought they were honest, a little pricey at times but honest nonetheless.
Went today for an oil change and brake flush. John was very polite and helpful. He advised me on what my car needed and expectations. He also vented the office, sprayed with lysol, cleaned the door handle and touched areas with disinfecting wipes. He even brought a chair out for me to sit. And offered to take it back in after 10mins of airing the place. I felt more safe HERE than a hospital! Thank you so much for your guidance on my vehicle and your safety precautions. Ill DEFINITELY be going back again!!
Im a long time customer. The customer service is excellent as is the workmanship which is why Im a long time customer. Ralph, John AND Anthony, keep up the good work.
Great customer service. Made an appointment and they were ready for me. 1, 2 and 3 everythibg was done. Love these guys.
Very fast and prompt service. Went to service my car. Got some freebies along with. Good job guys.
Great service, price is a little high, but they will work with you.
Professional staff who took care of my fiancé s car trouble without a problem. Prices a bit on the high side though.
I must say my experience with midas Has been nothing but Enjoyable They are quick to tend to your problems And a very professional My whole family goes there and I would recommend Midas to anyone of my friends. Keep up the great Work guys.
Great service and great care and very polite
Completely unprofessional. So, my mother and I take our car there for an oil change, and general diagnostic which went fine with the car only needing battery cables and a battery, all put down on paper. Once we go back, Ralph and the mechanic change the story from the battery cables and batter to the EGR sensor, which has been changed recently. However, after putting in writing that the only thing the car needed is battery cables and a battery, they are insistent on the car needing the EGR sensor, and not once looked at the paper work where they originally wrote something else. Beware they are unprofessional and try to charge you for things you dont need.
I went to this place for an engine light they wanted to charge me 110 dollars I went to an other midas they charge me 69 dollars..... These are scammers....
Professional and efficient staff. Didn’t have to wait long to get a diagnostic. Fair prices. They offered many services my old car needed but weren’t pushy at all while I picked what to get done. Manager offered to stay open longer if I couldn’t make it back to pick up my car.
They broke my car then blamed it on “people” who changed my oil last time Despite the fact that I was not leaking oil until after the service from them. Then they told me I needed 4 tires so I told them I would go buy them elsewhere I took it to the tire shop and the man told me I only needed one tire. I am a single mom with not a lot of knowledge cars, but I need my car to get from point a to point B. I feel like it was unfair for them to try to take a vantage of me and cause damage to my car because my money is just as green as people who know cars and car troubles.
I would not send no body to this place
Speedy service and detailed. The mechanic took a moment to show me the issue and I appreciate that.
Triedto force me into a synthetic oil change my car doesnt require. I left
Professional, amazing, cheap
I thought $189 dollars was to expensive for front brake pads. My opinion.
Service seemed good at first.Sadly they told me my newly purchased car was AW drive and that I needed (4)tires when I only needed (2)They lie and take advantage of anyone who knows less than them about cars :(
Very hospitable people. They make sure youre comfortable and that youre in good hands.
Very unprofessional staff. When visiting this Midas for the first time they were told exactly what problem was by myself along with a 1 day old diagnosis from my cars dealer but they insisted that that was not the problem. For them to only have to do the original work of the first diagnosis after 3 returns and $1800 of unnecessary work they performed.
They always try to upsell. Every single time.
Awesome service if you need a shop to call your own,, well you found it😁 I go here for everything,,oil, tire, car service, etc
Very nice place and the technicians know their craft.
Love this location everyone is friendly job is always well done in a timely fashion.
Excellent customer service. These guys will do whats right.Theyre always polite and helpful!
The best place to go not much wait time
Excellent customer service. These guys will do whats right. They helped me out when I was in a bind, plus I was far from home and it was almost closing time.
Everyone is helpful, friendly and informative. The Manager is surprisingly calm for all that can occur in a day. Thanks for getting me back on the road so fast!
Great service and very knowledgeable staff
👍
Went here twice for an oil change in less than three months. The first time they did the oil change and then told me I need new wiper blades, interior air vents are no good and tires are bad (these were brand new tires)About a month and change I went there again for an oil change and a wheel balance. I then get a call saying I needed new blades, filter and something else with a quote of nearly 200.The only thing I changed on that car since my last visit was my blades. Why didnt they tell me I needed new tires and such like before. This is how I knew they just want our money. Also when I went to pick up my car they had everything in my car everywhere. The car was a mess. They were looking for my rim lock key but instead of asking they trashed my car and also stole a watch from my car. I had two watches in there and they took one of them.I doubt I would be returning there. Also when I picked up my car I heard them talking about how the mechanic doesnt do his job right he did something to someones car and he was getting yelled at.You cant trust anyone to work on your car anymore.
Too expensive, charging too much for putting up tires that bought there.
Will charge you 3 to 4 times more for what the original price of a part cost.
Professional experience
Avoid Midas they are a huge ripoff as many others share the same opinion they over charge for cheap parts. You will leave there feeling ripped off and obviously the owner does not care despite the number of times he replies to these negative reviews but still, nothing has change. I wont be going back.
Had to take car back two days later after a new tire change because something was wrong with the pin, and my oil light came on right after they changed my oil. Three stars because the managers were accommodating and kind.
They are very good, that is were i repair all my cars both honda & Lexus, they do a good job, pls visit Midas today u will be glade u did.
The Midas is very knowledge and professional.
After waiting an hour i was giving a list of repairs that was unneeded. Try to charge me a thousand and plus. After i left i found a mechanic that did the job and i paid 900 dollars less. Thanx for nothing minus midas
They have no idea what they are doing dont take your Toyota or Lexus to this place they cant do breaks or ac service, waste of time and money taking your car here
Took care of us well last minute walk in, no stress. Thanks!!
I went in early and got the job done and left.
This place is unacceptable. I came here only needing one thing fix and they try to charge for things that was never a problem. Now my car is in worst shape then when I brought it in. I would never come here again.
Quick, courteous, and worth every dime.I am the family genealogist, and I went to Newark to look up some headstones of my ancestors. On the way home, as I was about to get onto Garden State Parkway, I hit an enormous pothole and blew the sidewall out of the driver tire in my rental car. Normally this would not be a big deal; I am perfectly capable of changing a tire on my own, provided I can get the tire up off the ground. But the car in question had one of those useless pill jacks and a TINY crank, which wouldnt even reach out from under the car at the closest point of the chassis to the wheel that was also anywhere near the outside part of the frame of the vehicle. I tried valiantly to jack it up, but when you dont have the tools, this isnt going to work.So I ended up having to drive to the nearest tire repair shop. According to my GPS, that was the Midas on Springfield in Irvington (and it was only about 2 miles from where I was). I limped the car along to the shop, praying I wasnt going to bend the rims on the wheel, and pulled in.They were fairly busy and it was close to the end of the working day for them, and I genuinely felt bad about showing up that late, but in this particular case I didnt have much choice. The man at the desk asked me to give them a few minutes, and I sat down with a book and my knitting, fully expecting that with the number of clients and vehicles that they had ahead of me that I would be there for two hours.Fifteen minutes later, the guy came back, told me they didnt happen to have that size of tire in stock, but they were able to put the spare on for me (which I sincerely appreciated). Now, my family was pretty unhappy when I said I was going to Newark. Granted, it has a fairly high rate of crime. But at NO POINT did I feel like I was in any sort of danger when I was at this shop. Everyone was perfectly courteous to me and seemed genuinely happy to help me.I wasnt able to make it to all the headstones (have you *SEEN* Holy Sepulchre!?!?), so I will certainly be making a return trip to Newark, and if I have any sort of vehicle difficulty, this is the shop I am going to seek out (assuming I have the luxury of choosing). And I feel confident referring my family and friends there too, should they find themselves in the same position.
Friendly place
I wen
It’s a good place to get work done on your car. It’s a bit expensive but you’re definitely getting your money’s worth so whatever your priorities are, just consider that. They didn’t have snacks though.
We went fora oil change and a half hour later our motor blows with No Warring a perfect car going in,
Plans taking my wife for an interview @ boston on wednesday. on tuesday evening, at stop and shop at union, the belt you guys replaced for $1300 broke around 6p.m . stop by and bought the belt at autozone for $39 and got fixed for $40. i made it to boston, New Hampshire back to NJ and to watertown . still using $79, total cost. not the ones you guys fixed for $1300. if you need the $39 belt receipt, i will gladly give it to u. i think your fake mercedez benz parts dont work on MB cars.Midas is a waste of time and reap off. my mech guy fixed dat belt in less than 5mins ...
Last time and never again @Midas. Parts were extremly on d high side..went to change a broken belt, i was charged for unnecessary thing. More than $1k to change belt, pulleys and servicing. Never again. Wish Midas customers goodluck.
Nice helped me out in ever way possible
SAT JAN 12, 2013 Coming from Northern NJ we were on our way to a tournament in Voorhees when our vehicle began having loud problems with the catalytic converter on Route 78. Used our GPS and was directed to this Midas shop. John Hargrove, the Asst. Manager, and his head mechanic, Eric, did a great job on our 10+ year old Highlander. They had to wait for the c.c. part from a supplier but, that was the only hold up. They were professional, friendly, and knowledgable. We felt confident in their abilities to fix our vehicle. We have told our friends about this Midas shop and the excellent service they provided us. We wouldnt hesitate to use them again in an emergency. We were very far from home on a Saturday morning traveling through an unfamiliar area. We are thankful to this wonderful Midas staff.
The customer service and work are superb!

My opinion, you always pay more then there deals
Friendly and curious staff, but prices are much higher than many other places probably because they are the only mechanical chain around the area.
Overprice in extremely rude
