City of Irving Waste is the worst Waste management I ever experienced. They will blatantly skip houses at leisure. They will not remove any trash that is not bagged even if boxed neatly. They will not come on time which means you have bags of trash sitting for hours sometimes all day on scheduled trash days and therefore animals come and destroy or open the bags and then you have to puck up trash thats blowing all over the place. They will destroy your property by damaging mailboxes throwing away privately purchased garbage bins and recycle bins. Known for damaging parked cars, light poles, and even driveway curbs. All you have to do is check all the open/closed small claims the city has had to pay Irving residents in damages caused by their waste management or city employees.

We have consistently left our blue recycling bags on top of the broken down boxes so it matches EXACTLY with the photo posted on their website for correct pick-up. They consistently leave our recycling behind without an explanation and I cannot beg someone at the office to return phone calls/provide an explanation.

Always great at picking up trash, but even better at going the EXTRA MILE. My wedding ring was thrown away accidentally and the truck that picked up our trash was located, searched and my ring returned! They found my ring within 10 minutes of searching, but they were willing to do whatever it took to get my ring back. Thanks always! (married 27 yrs!)

I love City of Irving trash collection. They are hard working people who don’t leave anything behind. Thank you for great service.

City of Irving has the worst trash collection service Ive ever seen. Leave trash all over street and dont clean it up. Want you to put broken glass with wet pollen in cardboard boxes rather than safely in plastic trash can so no one gets hurt. Or I can risk getting cut up too and bring to dump. I pay my bills and taxes so I expect Irving to do what I pay them for. And they dont!

Dont know why the bad reviews, I live in Irving since 1984 and have no problem with the system, they even go the extra mile on picking the loose trash when the bags ripped, what more is there to ask? ? Very satisfied! !

Cleanest landfill Ive been to. People are nice and friendly.

Closes when ever it rains even a little and closed on Friday. Every time I need to use their services they are closed. So Ill just carry my thrash with me all over the metroplex..

They keep my neighborhood pretty picked up!!!

What happened to picking up our trash..2 ppl on Dennis st didnt get there trash picked up...other trash was out there when I put ours out...last fri. And the fri. Before...still sitting there.
