Wow Is the only thing I can say about this place. I went in to get a enlargement done and was instantly welcomed to a man that just has the best attitude about life and on top of that it only took less than10 minutes to print out a 16x20 picture! He also put the picture in the frame that I went to grab from the store. So overall I am very pleased about this place. Will be going back.

I had an extremely positive experience with APV photos. I had been trying to get photos for a Canadian green card, and Walgreens and other stores like it we’re unable to figure out the size of the photo or other differences between American passport photos. I called ahead, and when I arrived, the owner had all the documentation for the dimensions, and was very familiar with all sorts of country requirements. He’s also a really nice guy, and helped me out fast. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I had my Canadian passport photos done here - then the notary at a local bank made a mistake while notarizing the back of the photos which meant I needed a new set of photos. The owner Terry provided me a new set of photos for free when he saw the error the notary made. I just received my Canadian passport today without any issues. This is the guy you want to go to for Canadian citizenship certificate and Canadian passport photos. Great service all around!

If you need your passport photo taken, this is an excellent place with a very friendly guy who knew exactly what was needed for my New Zealand online passport application. Well worth going to instead of the usual pharmacies, as the quality of the photo is far superior. I drove all the way from Fort Worth to this place, and have no regrets!

I went to three different places before and no one could get me a digital passport when I should have gone here first. The owner is welcoming, personable and quite funny. Loved my experience and best passport photos.

Terry at APV studio is an expert of the passport pictures of all countries. He is very easy to get hold off even after hours. I needed pictures for visas of Singapore and Malaysia and the specs are very different. Terry seems to know how to get them right.

The guy personally is very nice and helpful. However, the price is a little too high. What I did not understand is that they were charging $38 for a digital copy. They dont have to waste a single piece of paper or a single drop of ink for a digital copy. It would be better if digital copies were cheaper.

They know all the dimensions and measurements required (from memory) and will double check with you to make sure all the requirements are met!Oh and don’t forget to ask about his currency collection, he has some fascinating currencies from around the world to entertain you while the photo is printed.And make sure you bring cash, they don’t accept cards.

The guy taking the pictures was hilarious, and he made sure all the measurements were correct before asking for payment. He also date-stamped and address-stamped the photos as required by the Canadian passport agency. I will gladly return here the next time I need passport photos.

The guy who owns this business has a very endearing personality which was great for me because, being a little camera shy, it helped me feel at ease. Since this was my first passport photo I wasnt sure what shirt to wear so I brought 2 extra just in case. He helped me pick out one that would work best and sat me for the photo. He quickly adjusted my posture so I was standing straight and easily got me to smile for the photo. It took no more than 5 minutes for him to go print the photos out and cut them to size. I was honestly surprised how well they came out and very happy with the whole deal, which was quick. All on the first take too.

This is by far the best photo taking experience I have ever had. The owner is very knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly friendly and funny. The service is quick, and the photo quality is great.Also, the store is full of random goods (like shampoo and toothpaste) that you can buy while youre there. (Im not sure why. I didnt ask.) I cant speak for the competitiveness of the photo pricing (because I dont get my picture taken often), but the prices on the random household items are very good.So if you happen to need to restock on household items and get your picture taken at the same time or if you are someone who appreciates a good laugh, friction free service, and good photos, this is the best place to go.

CANADIAN CITIZENS COME HERE!!! This guy is CRAZY good!!! I drove everywhere in the Dallas/Ft Worth area and spent a lot of money and hours to only be let down with the quality of service and photos. Then I came to APV Studios and got me a perfect photo within minutes!!! He has been doing this for over 25 years and has NEVER had a photo rejected!! Dont waste your time anywhere else and come here!!

$35 for 2 passport photos!!! We were thrilled to find a place that would do Canadian passport photos in Dallas. Honestly we wouldnt mind paying $20. But $35 is just ridiculous and humiliating for something Costco would do for $6.99. It clearly took no skill or time to do. There was no sign on the wall to show the fees. It was all cash and no receipt. I feel ripped off, even though the man was very polite and pleasant to deal with. Also, this place was a hole in the wall!

I went here in 2011 to get a Canadian Passport photo. When I had previously gone to CVS, they used a cheap camera, the girl seemed like she didnt care about the job. The picture was excellent.Thats why I came back with my wife for her to get her Canadian passport photo and my Naturalization photo.The guy that works here is very friendly and knowledgeable. He knows all the photo requirements and uses proper equipment.Dont be turned off because he sells stuff in the front of the store. It has no bearings on his photography abilities. Will go back here again and again, even though its a long drive where I now live.

The first and only place to get a good photo done and also get to have a digital copy!!I needed a digital passport copy which none of the stores were ready to give. Still i went ahead and got a print at CVS but the photo was so bad. I looked like i came out of the hospital after ten days!!When scanned it looked worse. Thats when my husband found this studio online. We went there and got our digitals and two copies too... a bit pricey but well worth it!!The service is great and you definitely wont forget the visit to this studio. You will find yourself smiling for days after....I rarely write reviews but this place really deserves being mentioned!

Went in for UK passport photos, he knew all the requirements and even took out a ruler after the photos printed to show me that the dimensions matched the guidelines. I think the prices are fine, especially when you consider that it will cost you more in postage fees to send a second set of photos when regular drug store photographers mess up. This guy will get it right the first time!

Even if you dont like your picture taken, you are in for a treat with this photographer. The studio is near my work so it is convenient and entertaining to get pics taken. He took a set for my passport renewal last month and I saw him this week to get another set for a visa. I’ll probably be back soon for a LinkedIn headshot. Just a couple dollars more (literally $4 more than the pharmacy) but the quality and clarity of the pictures is well worth it.
