Scott was absolutely great. This was our very first time ever making an insurance claim, or having a roof redone. Scott and the team at Kidd Roofing were awesome, our house is over 5,000 sqft of roof, and the team did that and our barn in 2 days. They cleaned up, like it had always been that way. I can recommend them enough they didnt harass us about payment, knowing it was being processed by insurance and the mortgage company. They even helped us with re-estimation for the additional work that needed to be done. All in all a great situation and experience. We will definitely use them again when it comes times for the new metal roof.

We had extensive damage to our house from large hail storm early 2019. We selected Kidd Roofing as a general contractor for all repairs which included replacing the roof, several windows, chimney cap/stucco, fence, and garage doors. The selection was based on on-line reviews of the company, their complete and detailed proposal, and professionalism and experience level of their rep. Scott Nelson. Scott made what is usually a lengthy unpleasant experience a smooth and pleasant one! He handled all back and forth communications with the insurance company while always keeping us in the loop. He patiently explained the claim process to us over and over again, no matter how many times we asked him to repeat it. 😊 He also selected and managed scheduling the subcontractors as we did not want to deal with them directly. We wanted repairs to match the original condition and this was really difficult to do for the windows since the style was discontinued. Scott contacted several vendors and contractors and finally found a way to match the original window style to where you can’t see any difference. He did the same for garage doors, he picked and tried many stain samples until we found the right shade. Thank you Scott, we especially appreciate your help and support every step of the way – you are truly exceptional!

I acquired quotes from several roofing companies including the one I had last used, just 3-4 years earlier. I most appreciated how my sales rep, Scott, took time to listen and answer my questions. Not in a canned response fashion, but with genuine interest. Looking at their website, I kinda felt I might be considered a lower end customer for them (my house is about $375k), but in no way was I ever treated as such. We have 3 kiddos and the crew did a great job cleaning up after, ensuring no nails or debris could injure our animals or kiddos. They weren’t the cheapest. They also weren’t the most expensive. But I went with Kidd roofing because I felt they did things right, the first time, with quality and excellence. Now that the job is complete — I can confirm, it was all done with quality and excellence. Scott and Kidd roofing are the surest way to have great work done on your roof!

Kidd Roofing is a very deceptive company to work for. It was nothing but lies from the beginning. Their ad for employment stated they had leads. When we met Todd in person he stated they are a preferred contractor for USAA. The next day all of a sudden no leads and they are NOT a preferred contractor Todd said not to tell any home owners this. After the mailers went out Todd said they got a few leads over the weekend but he had to cover up his boys before he can give us any. Correct me if Im wrong but I thought we were part of a team. Todd of course denies all of this. We did go in a few gated communities. I was told several times I was trespassing and to leave since I didnt have an appointment. Im glad I found out about their deceptive ways before they owed me a lot of money. If they treat their employees like this I can imagine how they treat a homeowner if they have a warranty problem

My husband and I received multiple quotes from different roofers. I had asked a local builder who he recommended and he gave me the name of Kidd Roofing. Their estimator Scott, scheduled a time to visit the house and give a quote within the same week that we called. He was on time and very professional. He provided me an overview of the quote and educated me about the different options available so I could make the best informed decision. One thing I will note, several of the other contractors we received quotes from made a strong sales pitch during this part of the process; they were trying to upsell us on different materials and it felt very ‘salesy’. However, Scott from Kidd Roofing made me feel empowered with the information to make the best decision for what we needed. He left sample materials and returned on a Saturday morning to answer questions for my husband. The quote was priced in the middle of the other roofing companies, but Scott’s professionalism and trust made the difference and we choose Kidd Roofing. The day of install went flawlessly. The crew did a great job and worked diligently to get the job done in one day. Scott checked in throughout the day to answer any questions and explain the progress and what to expect for the city permit process. Scott also came out two days later to check on the city permit and do one last perimeter clean-up for things like nails, debris, etc. We’ve dealt with several contractors recently as we have fixed up our house and the ease and professionalism of Kidd Roofing made it one of the best and easiest experiences we’ve had. I would highly recommend them.
