Ive had State Farm Auto insurance since I started driving in 1974. They have always been great. I started with Dan Garber back in the 1990s as he took over my former agents office. I have had excellent service on anything and everything that Ive needed. They always get right back to me on any questions that I have. I have had a couple of fender benders over the years and I always feel confident that I am well taken care of, no matter whose fault it is. Kay, in the office, always treats me with respect and promptly answers me when I need help. All the office personal are great. The premiums are incredible and I honestly believe that I would not get a better deal anywhere else. I have two cars and renters insurance with State Farm. In the past Ive insured motorcycles and a house. I am loyal to State Farm for life and would definitely recommend Dan Garber and State Farm to any and everyone.

I set out to investigate car insurance quotes as I have reached the age where I can no longer stay on my parent’s policy and I just bought myself a new car. That being said, I needed a lot of help navigating what level of coverage I need, reasonable rates, etc. I got insurance quotes from a few different providers before being connected with Kay at this State Farm - she was fabulous. She made sure I was getting the best value and was quick to answer any questions I had. I did not have that level of help with other agencies. I’ve already recommended that my parents switch over to State Farm just because I am that pleased with the service and the price! Kay made me feel so comfortable navigating the ins-and-outs of beginning a new policy and I got a great rate! Would recommend.

My wife and I moved to the Dallas area in middle of January 2020 and DJ was referred to us by our agent in Illinois where we moved from. From the first call when DJ answered the phone and I started to tell him our story moving from Illinois he immediately put us at ease in moving our insurance from our agent in Illinois to Texas. I told him what we wanted to have insured like the cars, renters/homeowners, personal property, etc. and he asked for our agents information in Illinois and very quickly everything was priced and after going over everything and we approved the pricing the coverage was there. DJ made it very easy and painless. He is extremely easy to work with and talk to. State Farm (DJ Garber) spent a lot of time explaining the policy and was very competitive on the pricing as well. He was very organized and thorough and I appreciated this as well.

I was previously with Geico, had been with them for about 14 years or so. A friend of mine recommended I give State Farm a call and just see how their rates compare. I have to say it wasn’t even close, doing the exact same policy features I am saving a whole lot with StateFarm. So fast forward to today, I now need renters insurance on short notice, I call my my agent Dan Barber, Kay Faulkner assists me with my needs and sends me a quote immediately, once again super great rate compared to the renters insurance i had in the past with Geico, I email her back and ask what I need to start the process and she responds swiftly. My only regret is not signing up sooner!

I enjoyed my experience with Dan and his office. My situation was not typical (for me)as we were adding cars and drivers for my wife. I had not dealt with this before and after using Geico for 10 years, my premiums continued to rise (now they are sizably lower), despite never having tickets or a spot on my driving record. I was happy to have dealt with someone local in their office instead of the automated system that is with other companies. Anytime I need a change, I reach out to Dan or Kay and it has been taken care of within the day or at the very least addressed. Ive appreciated the service and look forward to working with Dan and the group in the future.

Cancelled my policy only to find out they were still drafting payments months later. Who ever I spoke with failed to actually cancel the policy. They had no record of my calling... Best they could do is retro 30 days. In other words sorry not sorry. This was their error. They shouldve made it right.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! This office has no since or urgency. Very unprofessional and have the attitude of fast food restaurant employee. I called today to see why balance was higher than normal. The agent KAY is the one I had the most disrespect from, when I asked her why the balance is different from my regular billing. She had the audacity to fix her paper thin lips to say “The balance is what it is” with a direct attitude. When I asked why she had an attitude she transferred the call to another agent. That agent was able to be professional and answer my questions (to my surprise someone here can do what they get paid to do) This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with this office. They double charged me one time and told me I had to wait 5-10 business for a refund. Another time I called to add a new debit card for auto pay. It was NEVER added and I was calling to see why they haven’t charged my card and all I kept hearing was it was in under writing. At that time it had already been 3 weeks. So then they finally found notes on where I called to add a new debit card. And Tammy at the time advised me she wasn’t sure why she didn’t add it but then also made an excuse “the system didn’t take the card” These older ladies should retire! They have no idea, I mean absolutely no idea what they are doing. OPEN YOUR POLICY WITH ANY OTHER OFFICE BUT THIS ONE!!! I am switching offices asap! I hated to even give them 1 star!! Kay- you should work on your people skills and work on being professional. You should maybe consider treating people the way you want to be treated.

Ive been trying to get my insurance renewed through Tammie at State Farm for almost a week and she havent returned my call ( after one of her co-workers promise they would in a few minutes) Everytimes i call State Farm they read the caller i.d. and actually hang -up the phone or places my call on hold....( im thinking its because im black or they are unprofessional !!!
