Professional and knowledgeable YCD staff took care of my problem with a CD player very well and reasonably.

Owners helped me with getting into mining crypto currency, took the time to show and explain alot of their knowledge, and order parts i needed. Went above and beyond just selling stuff. Will definately be going there from now on instead of big box stores where employees just dont know what their selling.

Great experience. They gave me an estimate for my broken phone that was kind of pricey, but still $100 less than replacing my phone. Even with having to special order the screen, it was still only a two day repair. They communicated every step of the way, were pleasant to work with, and the quality of their work was top notch - my phone looks and acts like factory-new. Im glad to have this business nearby in Ionia.

Writing this review on behalf of a family member. They took their phone in for a screen repair and they replaced it with an incorrect display of much lower quality and the wrong size/shape. The glass was the right size but the camera cutout was wrong, and it had a massive bezel at the bottom that should not have been there. Not only that, but now the screen has completely separated from the body of the phone! I cant say anything about buying from them but they certainly arent good for repairs. Edit after response: they are lying. It was absolutely not an OEM Samsung display put back on the phone. if it were, then perhaps it would have worked properly. They are trying to get business but they honestly dont deserve any. They know, as the only such store in the area, that they have a captive market and do as they please without consequence. Also we did resolve the issue... By driving to Grand Rapids for a proper repair with no issues!

We got a used phone over 2 years ago for my husband....well he dropped an broke the screen on his last phone.. used one is still going strong.

Bought a refurbished laptop a few months ago. This thing is a tank. I was skeptical at first of buying used but it came with a one year warranty and was much cheaper than buying new. I waited a bit before leaving a review to be sure my decision was a good one and so far I have not been disappointed.

They didnt inform me when the part for my phone was in. I had to call them. They told me it would take a day to fix my phone. After 2.5 days once again I had to call them to see what was taking so long. Something else on my phone got broken and they didnt know how to fix it. They said they could look at it again. I said it wasnt paying, they said itd be at least $25 to look at because its probably the computer board in the phone and thats not on them if its breaking and causing problems. Technically they fixed what I paid for but for $75 they fixed my camera and then I couldnt make calls. Also one of the times I was there they almost gave a women the wrong tablet thinking it was hers that was fixed. They are very unorganized!

Terrible service on the phone, had a complaint from an issue they had caused and was hung up on from the employee named jake he very unprofessional. They had also put my phone in a worse state than what i had, which was just a screen issue which is now worse. Calm and collected service but they wanted me to pay for an issue they had caused. which I will Never be going back to ycd I encourage others to look to go to other repair services And shops other than this business. They may be calm and collected but they are a cash n grab business.

Tried to replace a computer screen. Took over 2 weeks, then when we got it back, the screen was forced open, nothing was fixed, and bottom was scratched. We had to go somewhere else. Not recommended. YCD electronics: This was from a while ago, and I dont remember that that happened, I just recently learned that you had one of these.

I love ycd!! They went above and beyond for me and my kids!! The customer service was great each time I went in there! They helped me give my kids a great Christmas last year and I go to ycd for everything that involves me or my kidss phones. I dont trust any other place. Thanks so much YCD for giving ionia a great place to shop and thanks for giving such great deals!! Also thanks for looking out for the community! I remember when a little kid accidentally donated her ipad and your store YCD gave her another!! If thats not a great business idk what is!!

What can I say? The store was clean and smelled as such. The staff were very helpful. They had what I needed, at a good price. What more do you want from any retailer? Nice job all around.

I called and talked to Brandon about internet service. He was very knowledgeable and helped me through the steps. He checked to make sure I had the towers near me as I was Leary about buying an internet box and wasn’t sure if it would work in my area. He said it should work and it did. So by the end of day I had internet and I’m a very happy customer.

Found what I thought was a great laptop on facebook marketplace. Right off the bat the price was higher, supposedly because of some better part was installed. Then once it was home found out only half the advertised ram was working properly. Now Im having my mouse jump all over the screen and randomly open or close or change what Im trying to do, even when Im not touching it commonly come back and what I had paused is playing to an empty room. Id recommend anywhere but here to do business very unhappy with my purchase and how situations have been handled.

Bought a brand new iPhone 10xr here! I paid in full over $1000 plus a liquid glass screen protector. 2 years later my phone was blacklisted and the service stopped because the phone came up as never having been paid off. Does this company take full payment for brand new phones they sell and then only make payments to the manufacturer and stopped making the payment on my phone!? Or were they hacked and someone stole my serial number and meid number! Either way its a very sketchy deal because my phone can no longer have service put on it which means I can never use it again!!

I went in with my own part and offer an older man $50 to put MY screen on my phone, “Sorry I can only do it for $90”I completely understand company restrictions but really? $90 to put my own screen on my phone, never recommending this place to anyone and will continue to share my experience, I felt like the man was trying to take advantage of me because I am a kid. SAD!

Asked them to replace battery and 3 weeks later they gave it back to me and said they thought it was fixed but not sure, gave me a lot of stupid reasons that made no sense. Got it home and 15 minutes later battery died. Would never recommend.

I wish I’d read the reviews; I will absolutely never come here again. The customer service is abysmal at best.We dropped a cracked iPad off on Thursday and were told to call the next day, as all it would need was a new screen.We called every day from Friday until today (Tuesday), to check on the status of the repair.Every single day we were told “oh, the technician is working on it right now, call back right before close tonight.” Every day for five days.Finally when I called before close tonight, the technician I talked to said he’d been “trying to get to it today between other things.”I asked for clarification, because we’d been told for five straight days that a technician was working on it.My best guess is that the technician took offense to me questioning him, because he started talking over me. I repeatedly asked him, “Sir, please stop interrupting me.”Finally he told me to come pick up my iPad, that they were now refusing to fix it because I “cussed” at him. My two adult daughters heard my entire side of the conversation, and can affirm that I never swore at him or said anything besides “please stop interrupting me.”Nonetheless, he hung up on me as soon as he’d accused me of swearing at him, so I had no opportunity to clear anything up.UPDATE: We took the iPad to another repair shop. Though it was pretty badly cracked, it still turned on and everything worked when we dropped it off at YCD. By the time they gave it back to us and we took it to the other repair shop, they had removed the screen and the home button, and damaged the iPad beyond repair. The second repair shop said that it looked like it had been hacked at by amateurs.STAY AWAY from this place. We have learned a very expensive lesson.

Came in today to do a phone swap for my mom. Staff was super helpful and willing to go above and beyond in doing everything they can to make it a simple transition. They provide numerous services and piggyback on every national carrier. They have a large selection of devices that are both fair in pricing and in good condition.Highly recommend giving these guys a shot, support local business! And for whoever wrote the other negative review, Im not sure what had transpired but I have a hard time seeing these guys doing anything along those lines.

Absolutely horrible! Dropped my computer off in Lowell. They had my computer for a month and a half and never called me. Went in to find out that they had sent it to their Ionia location, meanwhile blaming it all on someone who had quit. After waiting another two weeks I go to Ionia to get my computer. They all look high as a kite and tell me my computer in disassembled at the moment. Obviously they just couldnt find it. After finding it (fully assembled) they return it to me without the case or power cord. Throughout all of this they never even looked at my computer. Never ever do business here. Horrible communication and customer service.

Had a really good experience took my shattered phone in and fixed it within an hour. Everything looks good and works great only problem I’m having is the camera and brightness, when I take a picture with my rear camera (selfie camera) with the flash on the flash is orange and it looks like the screen is not aligned right with the camera. Plan on taking it back in to see if they can fix that

These guys are great. Not only did we get the phone that we each wanted. We walked out spending less then 200 each with phone, 3 Months of Unlimited, cases, and tempered glass. These guys really know their stuff! I came in for a phone repair and found out they have a huge selection of electronics. Like everything. The staff was super knowledgeable about the products and didn’t feel pushy like other places. I can’t say enough good things about this place. You have to visit YCD!

Last Thursday I broke my phone screen so went to YCD and paid for a new phone. Friday I picked up my phone and realized after leaving that it was a remanufactured phone. The screen is glitchy and I could have got the same phone, rebuilt, from Walmart for $149. I paid $365. Today I went to YCD and was told that they have a return policy, with a 35% restocking fee. Thats $125, like I can afford that. DO NOT SHOP THERE. THE OWNER WONT MAKE IT RIGHT!!!

When I decided to leave my tablet with YCD wireless 4/18 I was under the information that it would be a day to get the part and a day yo fix it. Great. I called that Friday 4/20 and asked how it was going and THEN was told it would take 4/5 days to even get the part. Not what I was told in the store when I dropped it off. I was never told the part was ordered off eBay. They told me I could come pick up my tablet if I wanted to bring it elsewhere. I said I wanted to give a local small business a chance I would call Monday. I did not call or go in the store Monday. Tuesday 4/24/2018 went in the store as I was in town for other errands well after 9am. Asked how it was going. One male employee said got the part in this morning. I said awesome Ill talk to you later and walked out(was in there probably less than 30 seconds) got my answer and left. I called at 4:06 asked how it was going the said owner answered the phone, I asked how it was going. he said just got it under the scope. Part just came in. I then was upset because I was told it was already there that morning. Asked how many times I was going yo be lied to? The OWNER then yelled at me says he knows the story and told me to come get it. He then hung up the phone on me. I did not hang up on him. He Never said it was almost finished. I DID NOT demand my unfinished tablet. I was told to come get it. I walked in The store about ten minutes after the OWNER hung up on me. I asked if it was put pack together, he said finishing now, he rudely gave me my tablet. I then tried to ask why I was told so many different things. I was not able to get a word in as the OWNER decided to cuss at me to get the F**** out of his store over and over. I said I would be writing a review about my experience and that there better not be anything else wrong with my tablet . He again went off the handle. Telling me to get the F*** out. As I walked to the door ( not blocking it) I was then yelled at by the owner again I would be sued and a cease and desist. All for my saying I will write a review. My own freedom of speech. I had my property in hand. I walked out. I never said anything about putting them out of business. The owner was too belligerent, I couldnt say anything other than seriously?!. There was a male and female employees in the store as well. The company response to my husbands Google review on the business was lie after lie. The owner was absolutely NOT polite!! Worst customer service I have ever experienced during this process!!This place was terrible mainly the owner and the one male employee.Some may like this business and some may not. And guess what that is each persons opinion. But I will never set foot in his store again. Looking at many other reviews there are more people with the same opinion. I didnt ask for anything free. I just asked what was going on with my property. My tablet was NOT repaired, I was not charged by them for any service. They need to be much clearer on what they say and the process they take with whatever service. I do not care if people go to them for any of their services. That is 100% each individuals choice. I will no longer bring anything there or suggest anyone else deal with them for repairs. I just hope no one else is treated the way I was at this business by the OWNER.Is what its. My fiance took her phone in for a cracked screen, after 9 days and 2 repair jobs she received her phone in worse condition than what it had been originally when she dropped it off. They never called her for updates, they failed to let her know that they broke the back of her phone and had to replace it which would take several days. They failed to let her know when the phone was finished, and they failed to tell her that they were changing their store hours. When she asked them for a refund she was cursed at, kicked out of their store, and then they called the local authorities on her and her mother.
