Hydes installed a mini-split A/C unit for my garage. Hydes is a family owned business and they definitely take care of their customers. Barry came out, assessed what I needed, game me a quote and voila! Hydes scheduled an appointment. Scott & Danielle came out installed the unit in just under 2 hours. They were punctual, friendly, professional & experienced. I was very pleased with the service and the new A/C unit. I planned to use Hydes as my annual service rep. Props to you all!
This company is excellent with keeping the customer updated with e-mail, texts, and phone calls when necessary.Even though I do not know much about air conditioning(we have learned a lot since) during the estimates process, I could tell that Barry knew his field well. He also let us know that his crew were experienced, but many companies say that.This was a fairly big job, sometimes as many as 10 workers were there and as he had let me know whichever company we choose be sure they have good sheet metal guys. Which ended up happening, we needed to push back a week due to the sheet metal work. But we were contacted about it right away.Also, during the estimate process, I asked Barry to give us a new estimate which could help us compare apples to apples with the other bids and he got to it in a timely manner and called to let us know he had sent the new estimate.The workers were always prompt and my sister -in-law said very nice, explaining how the system works, thermostats etc..The system is brand new. So far, very quiet and working beautifully.We feel confidant and glad we chose Hydes.

Our technician, Greg, was informative as to what he would do diagnostically to hopefully find answers to our irregular cooling pattern in our home. Having only been in our new home a couple of weeks we had already had 2 other AC techs unable to find anything wrong. Greg soon discovered that our refrigerant was low 2 lbs. Additionally he went into attic and discovered a large section of ductwork on the floor of the attic. We had been cooling the attic. This repair was quickly done. Needless to say we purchased a maintenance contract. He changed 2 filters as well. While much more involved than we thought we couldnt be happier to now enjoy cool air and at a lower temp. Greg is a stellar technician. Couldnt be happier with company and with Greg.

Ive had several different companies come out to give estimates for the repair/replacement of my bosss A/C unit and Maurice was by far the most professional. If he didnt have an answer for our question he made sure we got that answer and out of the 5 other companies we had come give estimates Maurice with Hydes was truly the only one who didnt make you feel like you were speaking to a used car salesman. I appreciated his punctuality and honesty. It is easy to be taken advantage of in the desert where the heat can become such a problem; that is not a concern with this company.

Taylor was great! He explained everything about A/C to me, as I told him Ive never had it except at work! He checked and watered off the A/C unit outside and changed my air filter, as well as went into the attic to checkout that too. And wore shoe coverings inside my house. When I called Hyde’s Air Conditioning for service it was 3:15 in the afternoon. My home was HOT! Greg, our technician, was knocking at my door 45 minutes later! Greg was friendly, up front and honest. He discussed our options with us and was very knowledgeable and informative. He added refrigerant and replaced the capacitor. We had cold air immediately! I am thrilled with Hyde’s & I will definitely request Greg as our technician for future service calls!

Jeff Sproul is the service man that fixed my air conditioner. He found the problem quickly and explained to me what was wrong. He had to order a new circuit board but it wouldnt be available until the following day. This is summer in the desert and with the high temperatures he made sure that I would still have air conditioning until he repaired the system with the new circuit board. He had a extra motor in his truck and used his skill and experience to temporarily have air in my home until the following day. He showed up the next day. Put in the new part and my air conditioner is working beautifully. He thoroughly explained everything to me, was courteous and is exceptional an repairman. Wonderful customer service.

After too many ripoffs over a lifetime to ever fully trust repair or replacement services, we were leery of getting our water heater replaced. A friend introduced us to HYDE who sent Israel over to assess and estimate. O. M. G what a wonderful young man! He correctly established the best option for replacement... We have a horrible experience for the repair off the AC system last week, the cool air didnt come up to the degree settings, technician come and replaced The capacitor for $295, less than 24 hours, the system has the same problems and technician came out on Friday and told me that needs to put two pounds of freezo for $360. It work only one night, on the next day is SAT, we called other company they are knowledgeable to fixed our system with reasonable price and now the system back to running.

One of my units wasnt blowing air and they were able to come that day. Unfortunately, it wasnt a quick, cheap fix...a variable speed blower needed replacing. That said, they were able to order/pickup/install the part within a very reasonable period of less than a week, considering they came on a Saturday to do the evaluation and parts were available until Tuesday. Greg, the technician was excellent about staying in touch and letting me know what costs to expect and when he would most likely be back to do the repair. I have a maintenance contract with Hyde AC, and Ive yet to be disappointed with their level of service and communication. They are a top-notch company.

Hydes is the only company I will call going forward. After two questionable estimates for a new system, I got a referral to call Hydes. Michael Hyde helped me and he expalined all the options we had, gave us several quotes and educated us on the various choices. They had the equipment ready to go and got the job done within a few days of his estimate. Everyone who works at Hydes is professional and do what they say they will. They arrived on time, put up plastic to keep the mess to a minimum and cleaned up when they left. They even sent someone to do paint touch up. Michael also came out to the house to set up everything and show up how to use the new system and the remote connection options. They will be the company I refer to all my friends and neighbors.

Showed up on time for the appointment. Went through our new house and explained how our system worked and even told me how to control the system on wi-fi. He gave me a quote on a split AC unit for our garage that I know is about $500 less than the companies my neighbors and friends used. Once I can do it, I will be calling Hydes. I had hydes come out for second opinion on replacing my 13 year old heat and AC unit. Seams the crew Id been using had not done their job correctly. fan was reversed on the old unit and a few other things not attached correctly. I was being flim flamed . Now unit is running great. That second opinion saved me 8 to 10 thousand dollars.
Great service. They came out to scope the job and give me an estimate on one day and hadt the unit installed and cooling the next day. Installation was fast and efficient. They left no mess. Im a pretty demanding customer and they completely satisfied me! I would call them again in a minute.
Johnathan was outstanding. Described my concerns and problems that I was having. The most problematic was very little air to the master bedroom. Therefore, it was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. At least a 5° difference from the living room. He inspected the system and corrected some issues. Now, the system is working like it was designed to do.

The AC wasnt cooling and a new fan motor was ordered. Amador Cuevas installed the motor and did an inspection on the whole system. He corrected a couple other issues and made sure the AC was running efficiently. I am so happy to have cool air again. Amador was great!

This is a complete removal and replacement of the HVAC system consisting of two complete heating and cooling systems. I find the staff, from the office to the technicians, to be very courteous and devoted to the job. However, the two HVAC units that are installed in the garage exhibit high levels of noise, vibration and harshness to the point where the ambient sound level in adjacent interior rooms are unacceptably high. Repair or replacement of the vibrating fan units is the latest diagnosis of the problem by the technician.
Great customer service until I called to complain about the fact that the technician repaired my unit without my authorization. I was told that the technician would call me with diagnostic and cost before any work was completed on my unit. I received a call from the technician after the fact and ready with my credit card. When I called to complain, the person on the phone said she would have paid for the service either way. She would have paid up to $300 to have cool air to sleep which leads me to believe that this may be a common practice of theirs. The service manager called me back, Berry Hyde. He tried to explain that I must have misunderstood. I know that I did not and I know this because the customer service representative stated that the information was in the notes to the technician. Mysteriously the phone disconnected and Berry never bothered to call me back. They are brushing me away. I mean if you go anywhere for repairs, common practice is to explain to the customer what the issue is and then provide the cost...i dont know why it would be different here. Like I said, it seems to be the practice. Please beware of your interactions with this company.Update: air conditioner is not working again. I am sure they came back and messed with the unit.

Johnny is a very thorough and capable electrician. We moved A couple of switches from the exterior of our home to the interior.The work was meticulous. The wall boxes were perfectly square and he covered over the blanks left on the exterior with stainless steel cover plates and even applied Weatherproof caulking around the perimeter of the blank plates so no dust or dirt would get in. Now that his attention to detail.

I have mixed review here. I worked with two different technicians so the first part relates to Technician Thor. I originally reached out to Hyde to upgrade my thermostat to a smart one. My house has Zoned system with three total thermostats. Initially I wanted a next installed and called to confirm that it was compatible. Hyde assured me that it is, and if its not, the technician has full supplies on their truck including other thermostats options. I only had one day at the house and wanted it to be done that day. I called about two weeks out to get the appointment. Once Thor arrived, he examined my system and said that Nest is NOT compatible and that its already set up to be a wifi system and just needs a router. Of course, this router was not on the truck as promised, but I was willing to wait a week. The price Thor quoted me was the same $195. He came back a week later and attempted to install it, when he told me that i also now need a new thermostat since the one that he already examined a week earlier, is now NOT wifi compatible. I was disappointed as I felt that he should have caught that the first time around. At this point, I lost faith and called the office where Barry (the service manager) agreed to come out and inspect it. He seemed very knowledgeable. He also stated that yes, i would need a new thermostat and that nest wont work b/c the other two thermostats are Wifi (which nest doesnt handle well) The price jumped form $195 to $695 b/c i guess the thermostat was expensive.. it was disappointing, but I wanted the system to work and I dont mind spending the money to make sure it is installed correctly. Fast forward a week, Thor was back to install it. (i was disappointed as I had stated that I felt he just wasnt very knowledgeable with zoned systems). He did the install while I was away (this is my vacation home). He left, and my neighbor stopped by to check out the unit. To both of our surprises the AC was NOT working. Not only was it not turning on the AC, but the other two thermostats were left unprogrammed and unresponsive. I called Hyde back right away and they agreed to come out again the following day. I do agree that they are very responsive to customer issues. Barry came out and fixed the install disaster. Im still not seeing schedule come up on the APP, but i feel i can google that to fix it. So overall, had Barry been my technician on day 1, this would have been a 5 star review. I feel they should be careful about who they dispatch to jobs to ensure they are qualified. Thor appears to be very Green .
