Our A/C went out over a long holiday weekend. We called Indianola Mechanical first thing Tuesday morning. They came out, gave us the price to fix the issue and pricing to replace the system. By the end of the week we had a new furnace, A/C, and water heater. Their prices were fair, they were professional and pleasant, and they cleaned up after themselves perfectly. I plan to use them for all future HVAC and plumbing needs!

The folks at Indianola Mechanical were extremely helpful and quick to get our AC unit back up and running. I spoke with Jackie early Tuesday morning and scheduling was super convenient. She was polite and listened to what issues we were experiencing and was able to schedule me in later that day. Our tech, Carl, was very professional and knowledgeable. After he resolved the issue, he took the time to explain what was occurring and what he did to resolve it. There was no fluff and he made it easy for me to understand things. I cant say enough good things about this company. Unfortunately in the last year both my furnace and air conditioner stopped working. I called them both times and they were very professional, responsive, and affordable. And Im going to have them install a water heater for me this summer. Highly reccomend!

We have had an annual issue with our furnace for the last couple of years. The same company would come out, give us some story about how we would have to stand on one foot, pat our head and rub our stomach for it to work right. This year we used Indianola Mechanical. We submitted a request on their website, super easy, and first thing the next morning we received a call to set up a time that day for a technician to come out. Alex our technician called us to let us know that he was on our way, showed up on time wearing a mask and covered his boots to keep our floors clean. He then took some time to talk to us about what our issue was and asked questions, something the other company would never do. He then inspected the furnace and explained what he was seeing and what is diagnosis was in an understandable way. After doing his work and cleaning up he told us that if we had any issues to make sure to call him and let him know. He explained what to look for if there were any more problems. Our experience with Alex and Indianola Mechanical should get more than five stars, this was our first time calling them and if we have any other issues that they can take care of they will be my only call.

Chose Indianola Mechanical to do a complete overhaul of our homes nightmare of a plumbing, which included installing non-existent venting, new freeze-less silcocks, and running new gas lines to the laundry and kitchen. Very happy with the service. The owner, Dan, was very personable and communicative both during the walkthrough and afterward. He listened, took the time to explain things when I asked questions, and walked through his thought process on the job with me so I would know what to expect. The installers that came out, Derrick (Derek? Not sure. Sorry bud.) and Luke were extremely friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Dan originally quoted it as being a 2 day job, but the installers got it done in a single day which was very impressive. The new plumbing looks great, and now I dont have to worry about the lack of venting. Will likely come back to them when we decide to replace our water heater and ac/furnace.

Impressed with the service and professionalism of both Alex and Brian whom installed our new Furnace and AC! They worked together to get the job completed in a timely manner. Both wore proper PPE and ran diagnostics on the unit prior to completing ensuring that the unit was running properly and efficiently. We woke up to a non heating furnace and after I did some stuff myself I decided to call around. These guys said they could fit me in next on their schedule, so I was happy to get service right away. Alex came out and spent about an hour trying to figure out what was up with it. I like to learn about stuff so he was nice enough to talk me through a lot of it and share what he was doing. He ended up getting it working without needing any parts. I would use these guys again, thanks for the good service.

Professional service. Prompt and Ive been happy with their service. Bought furnace, air and currently using for plumbing and water softener. MUCH more professional and cost effective than the chain company that we used and bought an annual membership with that has literally saved us nothing in 6 mos owning it.

My sump pump stopped working on a Sunday and indianiola mechanical had a new one put in in less than 2 hours. I was so pleased I went ahead and scheduled an air conditioner tune up with them for next week.

I was recommended this place based on their honesty and trustworthiness and I couldn’t agree more after my experience - we need more companies like this that do what’s right for the customer. I was almost taken by a larger HVAC company for almost $1800 for a fix that wasn’t guaranteed to work or $9500 on an all-new system when my current one is 7 years old. Getting this second opinion gave me a $150 fix and if I needed anything else they would be happy to help – For what its worth they could do the same $1800 work for $375. I couldn’t be happier with how well I was treated. Not only did they go out of their service area to help me but they did it in a timely fashion – next day. I would give 0 stars to this company if I could. We were scheduled a nearly a month ago to have a service done and they cancelled due to being backed up with weather. We let them know we understood and were told theyd get ahold of us to reschedule. Over a week went by without a call, at which point we contacted them again. Scheduled and then they had a death in the family. Completely understandable, but they scheduled us another week out. They then cancelled on us due to an emergency situation, over an hour after they were already supposed to be at our home. I am a very understanding person when it comes to emergencies and other unexpected unfortunates, but our appointments were not seen as a priority and the communication and follow up was absolutely terrible. Meanwhile, we had to miss work periods at our jobs to make these appointments that were cancelled last minute and is impacting an insurance policy we have been trying to put in place with our carrier. I love to try and support small business, but this is not one I will be trying to work with again.

With the sudden change in temperature, it was time to turn our heat on. Unfortunately when we started it up, it would not blow heat out and eventually turn itself off. We contacted our home warranty company and Bendon Indianola Mechanical was assigned to our service request. Although they were very busy, they were able to fit us into their schedule. Dave came out and quickly diagnosed the problem - a bad circuit board. He let us know he needed a few days to locate a new circuit board (our furnace is quite old) and he would return to install it. The turnaround was quicker then I expected! I received a call the very next day to come out and install the new board. Our furnace was running and putting out heat immediately! Dave was quick and efficient through the whole process so we didn’t have to go any longer without heat. They were the only company out of 5 I called that cared I didnt have hot water and didnt expect me to wait 4 business days for an appointment. This is my new go to company!
