Unadjusted or more likely damaged video head used on my 3/4 video transfer, unrelated to any age artifacts or distortion from the tapes. Also left the timecode display ON during the transfer, overlaying that onto the duration of all transfers. A little less expensive than more capable transfer services Ive used elsewhere, but in my experience a waste of money and your time. Theres no way a skilled professional was involved with my order. I CAN recommend twosquares.com in Minnesota.

Love the way my photos and slides were digitized by ScanDigital. They kept everything in order and was able to organize the photos into separate folders just as I had separated them when I sent the photos into get scanned. I was also updated throughout the process so I knew where my order was at all times. Thank for providing such a valuable service!

Just received back my first order and I can honestly say I will be using them again soon enough. I was hesitant to use this type of service so I only sent a small order this time, but they made it simple and with their continuous email updates, they made me feel like my family videos were safe at all times. I highly recommend Scandigital for digitization services.

Deceptive, bad customer service. I placed an order to scan photos this past December. I choose the CD to have my photos uploaded to. Nowhere on their website does it say that the CD is viewable ONLY and you cannot download the photos from the CD. You have to pay additional to get a thumb driver if you want to be able to download the photos. When I canceled my order they told me they could only refund me 50% because they already sent me the prepaid shipping box. I never received a confirmation for my order, yet they sent the box anyway and then they say they cant refund me for it. Additionally, they told me a refund would take 4 to 6 weeks. On what planet does a refund take that long? I was not pleased. If you want to create happy customers work on properly advertising your services and being more flexible with refunds..

I have to agree with everyone else.......They are a bunch of liars! Sent them the film with the order for their premium service. Two days after they received it I called back to drop the order down to their second level service. The guy put me on hold and then came back to say I could not change the order because they had already started on it. Consider that those two days were over the weekend, and two weeks later I still have not received it, I can only say they are a bunch of lying SOBs! You need your head examined if you use them.

We had a fragile roll of film from the 1930s that we wanted to digitize. ScanDigital was able to preserve this amazing footage and even spliced the reel together where it had broke apart. Highly recommended!

I was nervous about the Groupon I purchased for Scan digital after seeing these reviews but I received a USB drive with my home video on it and it was perfect! I had previously had it transferred to a DVD by legacybox and my dog ate the DVD so I had to have it done over. The VHS was about 26 years old so the quality wasnt perfect but it was much better than the video I got from Scan digital. The groupon as mentioned in the fine print does not include USB drives so I had to pay extra for it but I can share the video with my family so its totally worth the extra $15. I didnt realize the USB was not covered by the groupon and I ordered two so I was charged $30. Once I realized this I called customer service and let them know I only wanted one USB and they told me they would refund the other $15. I had to call back today to request it again because the note was there to send me a refund of $15 but for some reason they had not processed it. The guy I spoke with was very nice and said he would make sure it got processed and hed send me and email. The reviews dont lie about customer service. I probably called ScanDigital about 4 times while doing business with them and the staff have always been very nice and super helpful! I would definitely use them again if I needed this service again. Thanks Scan Digital!

If I could give them 10 negative stars I would. They are liars, they take your money and are always coming up with reasons they have to charge you more, there customer service department is even worse, you get an email with an estimate date you will get your photos and are told if you are in a time crunch and need them before that to let them know so you do and you are told that you would have to pay even more money to them to have this completed. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT USE THEM!!!!The are liars and will charge you for anything and everything they can. Biggest mistake I made was ever purchasing a Groupon for this company.

I am completely disappointed and utterly frustrated. I sent in 19 mini VHS tapes to be transferred to CD’s and an external drive (it took 2 months). What I received were awful. Most had “video calibration” on them with white noise and couldn’t be watched. I sent them back for a “re-do”. When I received the new CD’s and external drive (after yet another 2 months) the white noise and “video calibration” were gone but the sound kept going out. When the sound WAS on, it wasn’t in sync with with the video. It’s so frustrating to watch someone’s lips moving and their voice is somewhere else. I sent in my Groupon receipt and credit card charge receipt and asked for a refund of those charges. I felt another “re-do” at this point was ridiculous. They sent a reply that they’d look into it. That was over a month ago. So this has been almost SIX months of frustration. I emailed them AGAIN asking what the delay was and received a generic email saying I needed to reopen and reply to the request number. Aaarrggghhh!! I just sent in another email stating my frustration and asked again for the refund. Who knows what kind of response I’ll get. So I’m resorting to this negative review. I don’t like writing them but I feel this one is deserved. Oh, and I’m never using Groupon again either. I think the value v/s quality simply isn’t worth it.

Terrible Experience -- Would Never Recommend -- After receiving my pictures in which I was using a Groupon, they inform me they wanted me to pay another $64. I had included a cover page with my photos with my contact info, but never contacted me until they wanted me to pay the additional $64! If they were not going to accept the Groupon, they should have called me before processing, not after. Then they held my pictures HOSTAGE until I finally agreed to pay $44 to get them back!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Terrible company, I called and told them I didnt have a way to view some tapes to see if it had video on it or not. They said send it in, which I did, they started working on it and besides my 350.00 groupon credit they atomically billed me another 650.00. When I talked to them they said that is there policy, they bill on every tape sent it whether it has 1 minute or 2 hours, and apparently if it also has no video on it. I would have never gone here if Id known that, Scandigital cost is 3-4 times the estimates I got from other companies when they count 2 hours on each tape no matter hoe much actual footage is on it.
