(Couldn’t reach chimney top to examine possible yellow jacket nest as raller than pole allowance). Weve been using them for a few years. We never really had pest issues and hired them as more of a maintenance plan for the home. On occasion weve had small ants start to show inside our sun room and they were quick to provide extra traps while doing their quarterly visit. Recently, and part of whats prompted me to write the review, we had yellow jackets under our deck where our hot tub sits. We sprayed several times, killing many of them but never could eliminate them as we couldnt get directly to their nest. We call Insight to treat for them as well as part of our plan. The technician, Kyle Wolfe, was polite, friendly (he assured our kids he would be ok as they watched from inside) and very professional. The single treatment he provided seems to have been what was needed as we have not seen a single yellow jacket since.The company has always been professional, calling or messaging when they arrive so we can bring in our dogs and open the gates and not ringing to prevent interruptions to our childrens naps.Id definitely recommend them for pest control services and have just added monthly mosquito treatments as well.

Insight Pest Control communicates well with customers about when they will be providing regular services. I have used them Year round for about six years and have been pest free! Cassandra was very polite and thorough. I love that they can call before they arrive, so I know when to expect them. This was a respray. They stand true to their word that they will come back out. We had a lot of rain after the original spray. I think it drove more insects inside. Thank you! They took notes and asked where I’d seen ants/spiders to be sure my needs were met.

Insight was the second company I called, but should have been the first. After the run-around from another company, I called insight and they were on site in two days and took care of it right away. So happy and will recommend to everyone that needs to take care of a pest issue.

BUYER BEWARE! I contacted this company to take care of a mouse problem and explained- in detail- to the person taking the call what was going on. That person said oh yes they can help me with the mouse issue. The gentleman came out to do the “treatment” and was listing all of the bugs that it would help stop and I told him I called for a mouse problem and would, what he is doing, fix it. He said what he puts down isn’t really for mice and said that his boss said he thinks it works but he doesn’t believe it does. I contacted the company through email twice and never got a response. When the payment was due, suddenly they knew how to get in touch with me. I would never trust them or want anyone else to be taken by this lying company. Don’t waste your money -especially if you gave a mouse problem. Bunch of scam artists.

Dustin came out and diagnosed my home’s hornet issue. He then fully explained the process to resolve/remove the infestation. Dustin completed his work with precision and professionalism. We are now free of these pests. Thank you, Insight for the exceptional service.

I have read very similar issues to what Im having. I attempted to cancel service with Insight in early March. I have been a customer since 2016 and I am well beyond the initial 1-year price agreement from back then. Insight account specialist suggested I suspend service until April, at which point THEY would contact ME to discuss again. I agreed to do so, unfortunately. Then on 4/20/21 I got notice that they will be at the address to perform service on 4/23/21. I had to call them prior to 4/23/21 to remind them they never contacted me as promised, instead just planned to continue service without my consent. Then I advised I definitely was cancelling now. Well it sounds like I was passed twice unsuccessfully to an account specialist with no luck. We all know these are the people who try and talk you out of cancelling instead of just doing so. So they actively and intentionally avoided my cancellation call. So, instead of spending more time and additional calls, I have contacted Indiana Attorney General and requested their assistance as Insight refuses to honor my wishes to cancel the service. I am not speaking to this company anymore, Ill let the AG handle it. This is what you have to resort to, I guess. I was initially told by the salesman that cancellation would be easy and I could do so at any time. That certainly was a deceptive statement by Insight as I, too, have learned along with many of you.

Had insight for years despite constant opportunities to switch. Bottom line, there are no bugs in the house. They do extra things like dewebbing the exterior including my yard light (at least Gerrick did it today which I had never seen before but appreciate. Awesome service at a competitive price. Will continue to use them

We signed up for seasonal treatment, but where you pay when after they come. We then had to move and they wouldn’t let us out of the deal. Okay fine, what does it cost to cancel, significantly more than paying for a year of service. So the new owners got a year of service on us, but insight refused to just drop our information or correspond by mail with the new owners, something like “current residents”. Instead I am getting appointment reminders and survey questions about their service. And 6months ago we get another bill from them. It was only a few bucks, but now I am worried that it’s just the start. I just want to be done with this company, and I just want it to end. I guess the moral of my story is don’t sign with a company that hassles people by going door to door, that’s how they got me.

InSight does a great job. It depends on the technician, but as long as you voice what specific concerns you have, they pay attention to detail and get the job done. We live by a pond, and get a tone of spiders. We have seen a significant reduction in our in-house spiders.

I am generally skeptical about services that come to your door unsolicited but I have been impressed with Insight. They are prompt, do what they say, have a good website and keep me informed of appointments, services and account balances by email and texts. They so far have also been responsive by phone if I have any questions.

Called primarily for removal of numerous wasp nests. They got an appt for us within a cpl days. They were on time, friendly, and professional. We utilized the one time service fee, and they treated for all bugs, as well as, removing all nests for that price. Happy with our service, and would use them again.

This is the 2nd company I have used regarding ants in my kitchen. The first service I used, ants were gone within a few days. I am now 11 days out and there are still so many ants in my kitchen. I feel like their service did not do anything.

When we hired this service we were told that it would be a one time fee for the year. We were surprised to see a new bill of $129.00. Lack of honesty will not have us return. In fact, we would like to cancel after the November application. This is way more than we have paid in the past. BTW, where is your address so that we can send in the payment? Good organization, good sales call - no pressure. Service call went well. The Technician arrived, surveyed our property, set out to do his work. No creepy crawlers have been seen for a couple of days. The proof will be known or seen down the road.

We had a very positive appointment with Insight! We had ants coming into our home in several locations. The technician was very thorough. He left baits, put bait crystals around the outside and sprayed nests that he found in the problem areas. He also wiped down spider webs on the sun porch, front porch and eaves! He was courteous and very thorough!

First attempt by Insight was botched when he went to the wrong address, got rejected and gave up instead of calling for directions. They had to send a second technician out the next morning who found my home easily. The work took about 35 minutes including me giving him a tour and pointing out trouble spots. So far very successful regarding ants and wasps. Still see a few spiders.

Rep came to my door saying his flyer boy came by and asked if I had questions. I immediately saw his uniform and saw it said insight pest control. I said no one came by and thanks but I don’t need anything. He then used the old ive talked to a lot of neighbors about ants. I said no thanks. He then pointed and said do you know about ants that have those Cotten ball looking things I was already opening my door and turned back and said I said no interested and went inside. Learn to take no for an answer. I know door to door is the way you get business but after I say no twice. Drop it.

Had a representative know on our door. I have a sign that clearly says NO SOLICITING. That we have dogs that bark. My husband works nights. I ignored the first know that got my dogs barking. Rep knocked a second time causing our dogs to bark. I went out so that my husband wouldnt be disturbed. I told him we werent interested and continued to point out things. I told him we flat out dont have the money but continued to offer deals. What part of we dont have the money is not understood. Why would I enter into a contract that I cant afford and have debt I cant pay. I suggest reps start respecting No Soliciting signs. They are there for a reason.

Their service is great. The number of dead bugs on the back porch shows their pesticide is working. Glad we have their service.

Over priced for what they do. A year of treatment and I still have issues with the bees. It would be cheaper and just as affective to buy bee spray and take of the problem myself.

I use for quarterly service & this time I was not home, but my elderly father was as were my DOGS. Not sure the service was performed at all because Dad said he did not see them, nor did the dogs bark which they ALWAYS do when or if someone is outside the house or in the yard! No one came to the door to announce that they were here, either! I will be contacting the company to see why they did not say they were here, but they sent me an invoice....

Surprised to receive the invoice as they always call first and we did not receive a phone or email message in advance of this visit. So we couldnt have them treat the garage since I wasnt home. Also didnt leave a door hanger this time. Usually super impressed with their service so this was disappointing.

I had a contract for this company to treat my yard for moles only. When a serviceman came last Friday he spent less than 15 minutes in my yard and could not possibly have found and treated the mole tracks in that length of time. I am calling management this morning. There should be no charge and I want the service I was expecting.

Last week during a torrential rain storm this company showed up to apply pest control around the perimeter of our home. I cant for the life of me understand how anyone thought it was ok to apply pest control during a rain storm knowing whatever was being sprayed was washing away immediately upon application. I saw this as a money grab and bad business. I called to cancel the service and was told only my husband could cancel the service because he was the account holder. I pointed out I was the homeowner along with my husband and didnt see why he was the only person allowed to cancel. Wasted both of our time and made the cancellation process extra complicated.

I was out of town at the time of the service. My stepdaughter was there for me. I can’t speak to any details.

They have performed our pest service on a quarterly basis for the last 2 years.They are very good about making sure we do not have pests in our house !

Seems pretty good. Used them for years. Never see too many insects other than at temperature changes.

They came every 3 months to spray my garage and I had a guy paint my garage and he said there was nest full of spiders in the corner alive. How is it that my store bought bug spray Kills them more than their service spray?

When I had a pest control issue and tried to call and add a service No one would answer, left a message and never got a call back. Had to call another local service to come out. Will be canceling all future services.

Summary: request a paper copy of the contract and read it before signing, no matter what the sales rep says they can or will do for you. A Verbal conversation wont get you out of a lawful contract you signed.The sales rep was misleading in our conversation as to what I was buying vs. What I was agreeing to.I was given the contract only after I signed on a mobile phone where I was only presented a signing box, not the actual contract content (I think the rep checked the acknowled box for me).It was pitched as a one time service at a super low price.That service (contractually) ended up being multiple applications (even though though rep verbally reassured me it was only a one time application.So now I have to pay for a series of applications, or pay even more money for their normal rate only a single application.As far as the effectiveness, we had them come out, apply their solution, call back 3 weeks because the problem was the same, they came back, re-applied, said to wait 30 days, we waited 30 days, problem was just as bad, they came back a 3rddl time, but then charged for one of those extra charges, instead if it being a callback.From the beginning of my multiple conversations with their customer service, I was met with reps would would not listen and only parrot the general same message;Your contract defines service as multiple applications at a discount, if you want to cancel your service, we will charge you more money for a single application than the entire program. Im sorry your applications havent been working, alot of times you have to have to have additional applications (aside from the service you purchased for them to be effective.All in all,, Disappointing, ineffective, and misleading.

We were excited that this was a natural treatment safe for pets and children. We’ve had a spider and ant issue and was promised they would be out 4 times a year to spray both inside and out. They have been here 3 times in less than 2 months with zero change in the amount of bugs we have. Would not recommend at all!!!

They come prepared and ready to go. I got a call the night before. The only thing is they have the amount owed on the bill but I shouldn’t have a bill, so now I have added work because I have to check on that ans make sure they aren’t trying to charge me

Upon their arrival 2 hours late, the serviceman didnt have what was needed for exterior work. When someone did come back, they didnt address mole problem that I discussed with the salesman.
