When I began at Vector, I was like many others and skeptical at first. However, the opportunities I have received here are second to none as a college student. What other job as an 18-21 year old gives you amazing resume experience, flexible schedules, and the opportunity to travel across the world? Also, the people in Indy are great. If you get a chance to meet Brett Wiggins, he is one of the best people I have ever met. Very few managers care about their employees the way that Brett and his staff do. Great job, great people. Working with Vector has completely changed my life. When I first got the job, I honestly didnt think I was going to do very well. I just graduated high school and I was extremely shy. I didnt think I had the personality to thrive here, but I quickly realized that this is the perfect place. I decided to give it a chance and work hard, and Im so glad I did. It has lead to so many opportunities in my life. This job makes me stand out from my peers with unmatchable resume experience from other college students. It has taught me so many life skills. Vector Marketing is THE best place a young person can work. You dont even have to have any experience because they train you right away. And, as long as you follow the training to the T, its pretty easy to make a decent amount of money. Plus, you get to make your own schedule, you work with your friends, and you cant ask for a better DVM than Brett Wiggins. It only took me ~2 months total of actually working to get my commission up to 30%, and some people get there in their first week. Even if youre not the best, its still very easy to be successful at Vector.

Currently in my first year of employment with Vector and it has been nothing short of a great experience. Very flexible hours that fit YOUR schedule. Not to mention the managers don’t treat you as just another employee or like a lesser person. Despite being in a higher position than you they make a genuine effort to really get to know you, make you feel important in your role, and give you the confidence to succeed in your role.

Worked here for 2 and a half years and came away with a resume way ahead of my classmates’, great income, and some amazing memories with lifelong friends.In Indy, Brett is one of the most sincere and upstanding guys you could ever hope to meet, and he runs his organization as such. Honestly couldn’t ask to work with a better team.

Vector Marketing helped me step up into my life and gain the confidence I needed to get the job I wanted, not just one I had to settle for. Would recommend for ANYONE looking for a place to start. The people are all great, and if you want, you could make a fine career out of it.

Hands down best job I’ve ever had. I’ve gained so much professional and personal experience in a fun environment while I’m STILL IN COLLEGE. This job allows students to make their own schedules around their schoolwork while also seeing their worth reflected in their paychecks every week. This is a great job for any hard worker, but an incredibly RARE find for a college student and you should jump at any chance you get to work with Brett and the rest of the NE Indy office.

I had an amazing time working there this summer! They have excellent sales training and great pay, but then also an amazing culture where we could all have fun and strive to learn. My older sister had worked with Cutco ten years before me, so I already knew some stuff about it coming in, but it has been the best job Ive ever had. Great for college students and seniors in high school.

I’ve worked at Vector Marketing for about 7 months now, and it is hands down my favorite job I have ever had. It has helped build my resume and my communication skills, which in turn landed me an engineering internship for this upcoming summer. I love Vector because their culture is built around taking care of their customers and employees. In addition to this culture, we sell Cutco which has the highest quality knives in the industry.

I’ve been with Vector for almost 9 months at this point, and it’s been good so far. The management is friendly and supportive, but they push you to do more and more, which is a good thing to a point, but can potentially get overwhelming. I would recommend this job to anyone who is interested in growing themselves and building customer service skills.

I’m coming up on my first year with Vector Marketing. I can say with a full heart that this job has changed my life. They say theyre an equal opportunity employer, but theyre not. For their sales teams they only want to hire young adults that are still in school or just graduated. On their application they ask you to fill out pre interview, they even ask if youre still living at home with your parents. I recently went in for an interview, and what I experienced was NOT an interview. This younger adult interviewing me didnt ask me any questions, but somehow came to the conclusion I was not what they were looking for. I was literally in this office for 2 min. When I called later to complain, I had to inform them that there was some discrimination going on. I didnt at the time know if it was because I was female, or white, or what type of discrimination was going on. However, I knew it was something. When I called in to report it to their corporate office I found out it was because of my age. The lady I talked with was very nice, and good at her job. She was a cooler. It was her job to make sure I felt good about what happened by the time I hung up the phone... and she did just that. She did tell me that for their sales team they hire young adults because not only is there travel involved, but young adults dont mind paying their own way when they travel. They dont need as much money as adults do. There was much more discussed, and I was told I would get a call back. Of course, they havent called. Thats why Im writing this review. I gave them a week to call me back. Now, of course, I could say more about this incident, and Im still deciding on whether or not I should report this company. Hopefully theyll change their business model soon to include more people than just young adults they can trick into working for them. To all you young adults thinking about working for this company... Beware... They dont mind using and abusing the fact that youre young with minimal life experiences as an adult. They will take advantage of you if you let them by working for them. Good luck to all of you dealing with this company. My experience was very bad. Hopefully your experience is much better.

I have worked here for 10 years now! I started as a college student in South Bend and Im so glad I did. At the time I thought it would just be a part-time job (and for many it is), but for me it turned I into a career in management. You make your own schedule, theres nothing but positivity from everyone from the CEO of the company all the way to someone brand new.
