Sunday has helped me out a lot over the years and I am grateful. 5 years ago, when I was a poor college student he basically put all of my data into a new computer for a low low price. Most recently, I bought a new adapter from him when I initially thought I would have to have the whole motherboard replaced. Unlike some places who say whatever just to make a quick buck, Sunday will shoot it to you straight and tell you what needs fixing. The best computer place in town in my book!

I am very pleased with the service here and the owner is very pleasant and personable. I stopped by with my laptop and he figured out right away what was needed. This was on a Friday and he had to order a part. I dropped it off on Monday knowing the part was on order and by afternoon the repair was complete. I would definitely return with any repairs needed. My laptop is better than it was when it was new. He also has lots of other equipment on hand for sale or trade at reasonable prices. Good place to go.

I had spilled soda on my laptop. I knew enough to immediately unplug it, tip it to drain, and let it dry for 24 hrs. Was afraid to turn it back on, so took it to Sunny. He dried it further, later called me to say it was working, did I still want him to clean the insides (for a reasonable price). I said yes, and picked it up 2 hours later. I watched him thoroughly test it, run a software upgrade, tested it again to restart. He suggested a hard drive upgrade in the future (for increased speed) because the laptop itself was a good one. I will definitely take it back for that upgrade. Very impressed with the care he took.

These folks are AMAZING. First they took care of me same day about 3 hours. Very professional and courteous. They gave me post recommendations on Windows 10 and let me know how to prevent problems from happening again. They were able to recover my files from my hard drive and install a new one for a reasonable and fair price. The owner has years of experience in computer engineering and computer tech for over 10 years. The facility was clean and they allowed me to wait while they worked on my computer. Today was the second time I brought a computer here (the first was last year after having a *horrible* time at a large electronics big box store). Needed to have several laptops reconfigured, updated. The person we worked with listened carefully, checked the laptops, confirmed what needed to be done, and gave an estimate. He took care of all our issues within the day, and did a little teaching to boot. This place is the best. And the person who helped us was great and very professional. The cost was reasonable. I will always come here first with any computer issues, and will share with friends.

My HP laptop had a automatic update glitch that was caused from a faulty hard drive, I needed my computer fixed that day and Computer Renaissance was able to clean and replace my computers hard drive within two hours!! I highly recommend this place for any computer issues!

My laptop was giving me fits. I took it to these guys and Sunday (yes thats the guys name) told me my hard drive was toast and an upgraded solid state one would do the trick. Took my laptop in because it was running slow. They did quick work and was done the next day, BUT when I went to pick it up there was crack in the case. I was told the owner(who worked on the computer) would call and discuss it with me. This never happened.

I have a professional music PC. Ive invested over 20,000 dollars into it with the best (and most) RAM 32 gigs, sound card, CPU (12-core), top-of-the-line music software and even a 200 dollar CPU cooler. Due to the nature of modern software all being downloaded now (instead of having the CD/DVD); I didnt have instant access to all of my serial numbers anymore. Well last month, my motherboard died so I had to purchase another similar one (which Computer Renaissance found for me). The biggest thing I was concerned about was Windows 10 requiring me to reload/re-authorize every single piece of software on my system. That wouldve literally taken over a month. Dan at Computer Renaissance installed the new motherboard (which wasnt even the same model as my previous board), and told me there was a 50/50 chance Windows would accept it, so I wouldnt have to reload EVERYTHING. Long story short, Dan performed his magic and Windows accepted this new motherboard. Out of all of the hundreds of programs I have, only one required me to reauthorize it after I got the PC home... which was easy because that software manufacturer had instructions on their website for people whose motherboards were changed out, and they permitted at least one-per-year re-authorizations to permit the software to load normally again. All in all, I was very satisfied with the detailed work Computer Renaissance did for me.

Surprisingly fast work. I took my laptop in for a SSD upgrade and it was done within a couple of hours. They also replaced the keyboard on another laptop for me. This was done faster than I expected as well considering they had to order a new one.Overall, they did great work and their customer service was top notch. Prices are very reasonable for the service. Location is convenient and easy to get to (just right off of the interstate).While there, I also noticed that they carry a wide array of well priced used/refurbished computers. Ill definitely be back for any future computer needs!

My hard drive had crashed, and first took to another computer shop which couldnt retrieve any of my files after trying for 10 days!! Brought it to Computer Renaissance at 1:45pm, and at 4:55pm the same day, got a call that that they were able to retrieve all my files, and had also upgraded my computer to a new solid state drive and had everything reinstalled and ready for pick up! Unbelievable service!

I was re-building my desk top PC and ran into a brick wall with a problem. Dan was very helpful and we set together going over various problems he found. He explained the issues and well and fixed them all and made several suggestions. He even updated the BIOS while we waited. I could not have been more pleased with Dans help and attitude.

I cannot recommend this CR location. The CR guy is extremely nice, but doesnt appear to have any knowledge of newer computers (I have an HP Spectre x360 convertible). I dropped him off a computer that worked (although it had a damaged case) and got back a computer that doesnt work (and is still in its damaged case). Oh yeah, and he charged me $50 for this.The CR guy agree for $250 to replace my computer top/keyboard with another in the same business day if I dropped the computer and parts off at 10am (I needed the computer the next day). I agreed, but by 6pm, I hadnt heard back from him. When I called (he closes at 7pm), he had not completed any of the work because he was fiddling around with a power button (which was not the right part) that is literally the second-to-LAST thing to put in the case.I was livid and asked him to put everything back the way he found it so I could pick up the computer before he closed. What I got back is a computer that no longer recognizes its battery and cannot boot up without a charger. The CR guy was absolutely lost at why this was the case. He only has $50 of mine because I didnt think hed give me my (not repaired and now MORE broken) computer without a payment for his time.The CR guy seems very nice...he just didnt know what he was doing. At every step, he seemed like he had never seen a computer like mine before and kept asking ridiculous questions about it (e.g., are you sure it has a solid state drive?). He also seemed to keep wanting me to purchase another computer from him rather than have my computer fixed. I blame myself for trusting him, but my options were limited.Maybe this guy is good for older computers. But I would recommend that no one every take a newer computer to him.

After issues with Windows 10 updates crashing my laptop the staff was extremely knowledgeable concerning my situation. After one attempt we had to replace the hard drive and I paid a fraction of the amount Best Buy or any other computer repair shop would have charged. I have been using computers since DOS was the platform and would recommend Computer Renaissance to any computer literate individual and even more so for the novice.

I could not be more happy! I was a little skeptical based on my phone conversation, but I brought in my very high end gaming PC that would not boot. It has Intel Optane which is a new style of memory cache. The service technician was not very familiar with this new technology, but he worked tirelessly to get the PC running correctly with Intel Optane. He worked past closing time by an hour and half to make sure the PC was properly repaired on the same day I brought it in. I cannot thank him enough for his dedication.
