Great day excursion. Feels very isolated, which is great to get away from the city noise. Lots of wildlife around the lake, but that being said.... SPIDERS. The kayaks are spider infested. The fear of being out in the middle of the lake, and a spider crawls out from the front of the kayak and jumps on you, is unspeakable. There are so many nooks and crannies for these terrifying monsters to come out of. I had 4 spiders in my kayak, so it kind of took away from the nature. I was just focused on the kayak and making sure nothing else comes out to eat me.

Nicely run given they are short-staffed. They were friendly and equipment was in good order. Eagle Creek is a nice place to chill

Amazing, the pontoon was not in the greatest shape, but still alot of fun for the price and plenty of reservoir to explore!

Went paddle boating, they also have kayaking and pontoon boats. Paddle boats are 35$ an hour a great experience and good exercize.

Ive done a couple of activities here, love it!! Stage Id polite, helpful and very knowledgeable about services!

Guide was great, experience was great. Ive lived in Indy my whole life and have never been on that water. Ill be back for sure.

Leaves a lot to be desired in the time of covidA common exit and entry point where people CANNOT be six feet (or even three feet) apart is a big problem. Yes they were severely understaffed the day we visited but the wait wasnt the problem. Even in June they seemed really under prepared for social distance or even summer time crowds.Reservoir is great. Boats to rent are in good shape, but getting to that point of enjoyment can really suck the life out of the adventure.

I used to love coming here to canoe with friends and my dog. The facilities are fun, but unfortunately the desk staff from today (7/31/20 @3:25PM) wasnt very polite and had recently chosen they will require you to buy another $27/hr boat if you want to bring your 35 lb dog (they did not check with the rules, they simply asked each other and decided theyd require it for me). After I finished purchasing $50 worth of boats for 1 hour, I requested an extra youth lifejacket for my puppy, which they decided they probably werent able to provide me. However, the ladies putting the canoes in the water were super sweet and upon request ran up to the hut to grab both a dog lifejacket and youth lifejacket to accommodate my puppy. They were super friendly and down to earth and really contrasted the girls at the desk.

We rented a canoe for about an hour and everything went pretty smooth. Relaxing environment and nice staff. Quick tip: remember to bring cash in case their credit card machine goes down.

A friend and I came out here with two 10 year olds to paddle board and had a blast. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The prices did seem a tad high especially when you have to pay to get in the park on top of paying the get on the water but at the same time there just arent a lot of options in the area for all of these activities so I didnt mind it. We will definitely be going back.

I have my own kayak now, but have rented kayaks here before and also occasionally meet up with friends who are renting. Most of the kayaks seem in good shape, but occasionally there are some that have issues. Pricing is maybe slightly on the high side, but not unreasonable. What is nice is you pay when you get back so you have flexibility in not needing to know exactly how long you will be out.

I frequently rent kayaks and canoes from ECO. Their equipment is in good shape even though its heavily used. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They give you a short briefing on where you can paddle and where you cant each time you shove off. Theyll also tell you about hazards like rowing teams, fast current, or low water. They even brought a boat out to rescue my family from a sudden intense thunderstorm while we were out canoeing one time. Great place to rent from or schedule a group paddle.

Clean,& decent. A bit expensive but overall ok

If you want to have any fun, do not rent a boat. No swimming, no drinking, only 6 people allowed, “don’t do this, or that, don’t go here, we’ll charge you for that” was all my group heard. The girl getting us set up was rude and unnecessarily bossy. To return the boat the guy at the desk with a large Afro was arguing with a customer about how many kayaks were out there and the other girl working the register spaced our entire transaction.It’s nice to be out on the lake but I’ll stick to the pool where I can actually have fun.

Boat,kayak,paddle boat rentals. Fishing areas are abundance. Front gate needs to be opened early for the fishermen.

Want to have the worst experience ever go here where u sure will find it want to be disrespected go here where u will fin Nacho libre look a like, and if you dont get the privilege to be disrespected by him they have plenty of girls with Attitudes who are just there for the check who they believe in thier mind they own the damm lake and must do everything their way, and if ur look to have the kids put their feet ( not swim) in the water and have fun and be kids dont go here apparently to them its a big no no like i say they own the lake(NOT) long story short want to have fun go no where near here.

I love paddle boarding in the reservoir and am grateful to have this local outfitter. Its a bit pricey compared to others Ive rented but still worth it until I get my own board.

Staff is friendly and we love to kayak in the lake. Huge complaint is that they often close very early in the day without notice or warning. We frequently show up during business hours and they are closed up tight even when we call an hour ahead. Poor way to run a business.

Love taking a boat out on the reservoir. Pricing is a bit on the steep side, but its beautiful on the reservoir.

Bot much to say about this place. It is what you would expect from a canoe, boat, bike rental place.
