Took my little man for his 2nd ever haircut. It was an experience being hes only 1.5 yrs old Both ladies did awesome but Kelly was amazing with him he calmed right down. Was very patient with him and figured him out and what calmed him. Kept him with a cute little boy haircut momma was happy when we got home We found where we will continue to go. Thankyou agan for the patience and good energy ladies!

Called at closing time (listed wrong on Google) and asked about a haircut appointment. They were very nice and offered to sneak me in if I could make it. Cut is great, came with a massage, and staff is great too. Cash/check only though, so no cards or tap and pay.

I cam in wanting a 3 around and a couple inches off the top, the lady gave me a what looks like a bowl cut and a 1 fade around that is wrong and horribly done do not go here you would have better luck going great clips

Eduardo is great! I’ve been to all the standard commercial barbershops and don’t feel heard. I would walk away settling with a haircut that made me feel dirty. Since getting haircuts from Eduardo, I feel like he gets exactly what I’m asking for, charges a bargain, and ready to take on the world. I would highly recommend this shop and Eduardo to any friend and have!

I love this barbershop. They flat-out know how to cut men’s hair — mostly clippers with a little bit of scissors. This place looks, feels, and smells like a classic barbershop. You can feel totally at ease here — no drama, no gossip. I wear a classic businessman with a medium taper, and they nail it every time. They also give you a straight razor finish, which should be a staple in any barbershop. Too many “barbershops” finish with clippers, and that’s a shame. Barbers should know how to use a straight razor, and Southport Barbershop understands that. They will also give you a nice shoulder massage with a massage machine st the end. At $14, you get classic treatment and walk out with a great cut. Check them out!

Ive found my barber shop! After shaving my head for 20+ years, I finally decided to let my hair grow out. Ive been to so many different places on the Southside and after coming in here last night, I dont think Ill go anywhere else. Lalo is new there from what he told me, but hes a fantastic barber and my hair came out exactly like I wanted. Meg did my sons hair and it turned out great also. We will definitely be coming back!

First time there today and didn’t realize they closed at 2 on Saturdays. Walked in at 1:55 to find out they only took cash so went to the bank and came back and they stayed open long enough to cut my hair. Adam did amazing and staff was very kind. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Quick service. Will not get beard trimmed here again. 3/4inch of my beard along my jawline on one side was cut off and I wasnt told about it. The mirror was shown on the good side and part of the other side. There was no mention of the mistake.

This is a great barber shop for men no gimmicks like others. Great haircuts and shaves very friendly staff I use to go to place to place getting my hair cut and never quite liking it but these guys do right and have gone in over the past year and happy every time with my cut.

Used to go in there all the time; two guys, one woman. No problems. Go back after a hiatus, guys are gone, two more younger girls, front door open(45 deg outside) music blaring over really bad speakers. Like a Nazareth concert. I dared to respectfully mention the changes when it was my turn for the chair, and got UPBRAIDED by the woman:I heard your comments about women, blah, blah blah. Basically she said No one else is COMPLAINING about the temperature. OR the music; I wont charge you for this... Like, DONT COME BACK, was all she didnt say. It continues to amaze me that places that appear to be struggling for revenue throw the customers under the bus at the least opportunity for no reason whatsoever. I wonder what will be occupying that spot a year from now?

Not sure what happened, but since reopening I scheduled an appointment got a great haircut and rescheduled my next appointment. I showed up for my appointment and was told that the barber would be back in ten minutes. I waited 30 and left. My time is valuable to me. If customer service means nothing here than I’ll find a business that my business is appreciated.

The Hispanic guy is horrible!!!!!! Worst haircut I’ve ever had. He actually took my money then stood over the cash drawer and asked how much change I wanted. Used to like this place, but I’ll not be back.
