This was my first visit to HQ, and it is far from my last!!! Tory is a truly Professional Barber. My haircut was superb AND it was the very first time!!! He is a amazing student of history and has wonderful pictures to show and discuss. A Great HUGE TV for those waiting and the kids. The shop is immaculate and all are very professional. This is the BEST barber I have ever gone to since The Spaulding Hotel in Michigan City, IN in the 1950s and 60s. Give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed!!

HQ is a little rough around the edges in terms of decor. But honestly I dont really expect much from men in regards to their decorating abilities. This place is great as far as talent. I have taken my son several times now. Sometimes I take him but most times my husband. Every time our son is done, he looks like a very handsome and respectful young man. His hairline is even and STRAIGHT across. Edges are crisp, clean and neat. No accidental nick marks, that I have experienced from other shops. We will even request a design for his birthday or picture day. He looks so nice and Im quite pleased as a mom. Like any salon, I would NEVER think of showing up without an appointment and then get indignant that I have to wait. When we book an appointment they will have to work us in so I know most Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the Barbers can be close to or completely booked. We can choose to wait an hour or two to see if another customer noshows, and the wait is worth it.

Tory is by far the best and most reliable barber in Indianapolis. My 4 year old son and I get my haircut on a regular basis and really appreciate the ability to get a quality haircut via online appointment. Its a clean family friendly environment that cant be beat! Give Headquarters and Tory a shot for your next haircut!

Professionalism goes a LONG way, and the experience that I had today at The Headquarters Barbershop was totally absent of what I am accustomed to. The two barbers that were in the shop today failed to greet me when I entered the establishment. In fact, I was never recognized as a customer at all. After an hour of sitting in the waiting area, and never being acknowledged, I decided to leave when two young men came in and simply hopped into the barberchair and began to receive a haircut! The was no explanation provided. To show that I wasnt a valued customer, I was never even stopped when I decided to leave. No one asked me if I had time to wait, or inform me that I was next. Lack of communication has caused this shop a lost customer. I will never attempt to patronize your shop again. I have an interview to attend tomorrow and I needed the aid of a qualified barber. Thank you for clarifying that Headquarters Barbershop isnt to find such a stylist.

I was sent To the owner I think his name is Tory. But he wasn’t there at the time I asked one of the other barbers could they get me they say yeah and sent me to the guy who was waiting outside sidenote it was a reason he was outside (for real) I think I got the most trashiest haircut I ever got in Indianapolis by far the owner came in and fixed it but it was a temporary fix because soon as I took a shower my haircut look the same as before The owner touched it up I definitely lost $20 today on the haircut

I have been getting my haircut at Torrys shop for 15 years. Barbers have come and gone but the experience has remained. Good people, good conversation, great haircuts.

Got my haircut from this place. The interior looks nice also, but what was really chill about this place was the guy that cut my hair he was laid back and he lined me up g00d. Then the next day I saw him at the sandwhich place in my last review.

I went to get my boys hair cut. All I received was thirsty guys who kept trying to receive my number. Including the married owner Torry. This place was a living hell. I hear the guy Eric runs all the women away because him and Tory try to compete with each other, as far as who will get the womans number. I NEVER WENT BACK. THE BEHAVIOR WAS DISGUSTING,

I took my grandson to get his first hair cut and it was awesome very experienced barbers very good with young kids thats where I will be taking them to get their hair cut for now on, love it!
