Best and probably the only old school barbershop left in Indianapolis.These professionals have been in business “before the Colts became The Indianapolis Colts”.

Wonderful place to get a nice Haircut, even during these times where Social Distance is required, Barber, Mr. Moore Jr. got me in and out safely and efficiently! Also, Setting up appointments is very easy and Customer Friendly. High Recommend to get a Haircut if you happen to passed through, or live in the Indianapolis area.

William is a professional. I gave him free rein to cut my TWA. He knocked it out of the park. I told him I would be his walking advertisement. As soon as I left a lady came into a store behind me and she complimented my hair. Good job William.

I started going to Cheathams Barber Shop in the early 1950s when he was located on Clifton and 29th Street. Mr. Cheatham was always friendly and professional. Great barber! His shop was immaculate! When I started going to Cheathams Barber Shop, he had two other barbers, Mr. Black and Miss Williams. He then moved his shop to the present location and I continued to patronize his establishment. When I moved to Michigan in the early 80s, and on my return visits to Indy, I would always return to Cheatham and Moores Barber Shop. By then Lee had started cutting my hair. You wont find a more welcoming and professional barbershop atmosphere in the city of Indianapolis. I see where Lees son is still cutting hair (another excellent barber) and Donny. You will never leave with a bad cut. These guys are THE BEST!

This is what someone should expect when going to the barbershop. Signs that read, No profanity, respectful barbers and an environment that invites you to relax. The paneling on the walls hold decades of stories and the so the barberchairs. This isnt the place for the out of order and rude, so you might want to skip this shop if that is what you are accustomed to. If you are able to conduct yourself properly, then Cheatham & Moore Barber Shop will welcome your patronage. With good stylists and just prices, Im glad that this shop was suggested to me.
