I looked them up online and used their facilities to pull a transfer case on my truck and rebuild it, then reinstall. They have a warm building, a good lift, appropriate drain pains, a transmission jack and other tools. It was an all around great experience.

Bought our daughters car from Tyler. Great guy, great service. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Absolutely a joy to work with, and very accommodating. Took my daughters car to use the lift and install new coilovers in her project car. Pricing is more than far, and if you dont have a tool they most likely do.

Ive used DIY garage on two different occasions. Both times I used the lift bays and everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. Its a great option when you need a lift in order to do some work on your vehicle.

Went here to change my oil a year back, but forgot to leave a review. The guys upfront told me I was SOL initially, as a car meetup was going on and had no bay openings. But after explaining my situation, they called me back in, and penciled me in with a lift, tools and time for a reasonable price.These guys are awesome, and I plan on heading their way again soon!

Came in to do some work on my truck replacing a hard-to-get oxygen sensor. Wasnt about to lay on a dirty and cold garage floor so sought this place out.The guy on hand lead me to the shop floor and explained what lift I would get. Drove onto the lift and he lifted the truck to a height we would like.The guy was very nice and professional. He made sure we knew he was on hand for any issue and even provided us with a light.Will definitely be back. Its so much easier to repair a vehicle from the bottom when standing versus laying on your back!Very reasonably priced too.

Killer place to DIY

I recently purchased a vehicle from Tyler at DIY Indy. It was a great car buying experience. Being I am out town and I was purchasing a vehicle without physically seeing it, I was a bit skeptical at first but Tyler was very helpful and 100% honest about everything. I am an extremely picky person and always have some trust issues with people I dont know but Tyler went beyond what most dealers would do to make me feel comfortable about buying the vehicle. The vehicle arrived in the exact condition Tyler and the photos showed the car to be. Honesty is something that is extremely hard to find now a days but it seems there is no lack of it at DIY. I was looking for a certain type of car, so I starting searching the internet and came across a car at DIY Garage. It was exactly what I wanted to buy. I called and talked to a young man named Tyler. He was very easy to talk to and someone that you did not mind dealing with over the phone. I dont like dealing with car dealers when trying to purchase a vehicle because most all of the time they just want everything to go their way. Tyler worked with me to give me a price that I was very happy with. We worked out all the details together and I drove over 430 miles one way to pick up the car. Tyler took the time to help me to load the car and strap it down on the car trailer that I had brought up with me to pick up the car. Tyler had all my paperwork filled out so all I had to do was sign everything and be on my way back home. It was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. Last Friday, I bought an 09 Mazda RX-8 from Tyler. From start to finish, it was a great experience. I stopped by several times to look at the car, test drove it twice, even checked out the underside while it was up on a lift. Tyler answered every possible question I had, and he was genuinely interested in making sure I felt comfortable with the car I chose, unlike many dealerships that just want to separate you from your money as quickly as possible. Was looking for a boat. 4 hours away from these guys but the trip was worth it. Ended up buying a perfect condition 2017 Bass Tracker. It was a repo. They were so nice, they offered us water, they treated us like guess, and kept us occupied while they waited to get their water turned on so they can test the boat. Got a fantastic deal of $12,000. Market price for that boat right now 17,000. Great people. Love them already

My buying experience at DIY garage was the best I had seen, bar none. I bought a 2012 Mazdaspeed3 from Tyler, who made the buying experience incredible. He excused my rusty manual skills, even helping me, sourced the owners manual when it was missing and even replaced a worn bushing that I noticed. And even though Im not very close to Indy, I will make a point to visit his shop to perform maintenance whenever possible. He is incredibly honest and helpful, not to mention a fellow Boilermaker.

I bought my 2013 GMC Sierra from Tyler and was by far the easiest and best used car deal/transaction Ive ever done. Plus it was his old shop truck and knowing Tyler I know it was well taken car of. Cant recommend this place enough. Ive gone there twice for big projects and had trouble finishing them in a day, both times they have worked with me on getting time on the lift the next day. The owner and the people who work there are a great group of people. Always a pleasure to go work on my car there.

Reserved a lift online, using their website. Received a confirmation email, indicating I was set for the weekends appointment. After loading my car up, I received an email, indicating their entire facility was booked. I indicated I was not very happy with their reservations system, but they refused to take any responsibility. They blamed me for booking at the last minute (I booked, in advance, online) and then for not understanding how big they are. All I asked is that update their reservation system. Poor service, and poor ownership.

This place is awesome if you want to do your own automotive work. Owner is cool and helpful.
