This is Dean R. Allen and Nancy Allen. Nancy is the registered owner of Allied Auto Hail Repair, they offer PDR (paintless dent removal) on vehicles. We took my Impala to them to get the hail damaged fixed and ended up with a bigger problem. They removed the hail dents, but left my car with scratches everywhere, dull spots, swirls all over the car, destroyed interior, cracked taillight, loose headlights causing them to have moisture inside the casings. He admitted that he used a paint marker on my car & for some reason the marker wouldn’t come off, so they had to buff it to get them off. The buffing is what caused all the swirls, dull spots and most of the scratches. He took it upon himself to “detail” the inside of the car and under the hood. Completely destroyed my interior! Dean and Nancy both stated they had to use an aggressive pad to get the marker off.We went up to pick up the taillight that our insurance paid for & to tell them they needed to fix our car. That’s when Dean and Nancy became very defensive and hostile. Started cussing at us and getting up in Sam’s face. Stated they didn’t put the scratches on the car and didn’t bust the taillight. We got absolutely nowhere. The police were called and made us give them the taillight back to them 🤔 which is complete bs.Upon further investigation, Nancy has this “business” in her name BUT completely registered under something else, this is how scammers like these guys don’t get sued. The business is no longer in Dean’s name because he’s been sued for over $150,000.00 due to scams. We have approximately $6000 in damaged (yesterday’s quote didn’t have the removal of the paint spots they put on my car, nor did it include the moldings, interior that is probably not able to be fixed, the glass, or the taillight and both headlights). I am so disgusted that I even let these people work on my car. Yeah, I know “it’s just a car” but my car was super nice, clean, and scratch free, over $20,000 and a very special gift from my husband. So I cherish it and to me it’s not just a car.If you are thinking about taking your vehicle to this company, I highly suggest you go elsewhere. You can google their reviews and see this isn’t the first time something like this has came up...UPDATE - This happened in Huntington Indiana. His “shop” travels all over the US. He goes where the hail storms hit! The business is registered in Noblesville, Indiana but again, they travel!
I arrived at this local shop with much more than hail damage, expecting to only be able to have it poorly disguised. The employees were honest and up front about the kind of quality that was to be expected from whatever they could do to repair the 12 inches of mashed metal, but we what I received was above and beyond that. Not only were the staff professional and kind, but they went as far as to arrange a ride from their shop to my home once I dropped off my vehicle! I am extremely pleased with the quality of work that was done for the quote I was given. This is a local shop, so dont expect the kind of dealings you would expect with a commercial outlet, but I would recommend this place to my friends and family!
Needed a dent fixed. All other repair businesses wanted me to schedule for a week later. Called allied auto repair and they started working on my car within 15 minutes. Only took roughly one hour to do a two hour job, and looks perfect. I have auto repair experience and would recommend these guys and use them in the future.
Crooks. I wouldnt deal with them. Especially since Dean is a liar and a known insurance scammer.
DEAN (The Owner) Complete Liar Just To Get BusinessI brought my car in back in May for a PDR that was suppose to take (at the longest)2 weeks. I didnt get my car back until the middle of August! Not to mention I went up there more than 3 times because I was told my car was ready, to get there and it still had damage to it. Hes a smooth talker and cuts corners. On my Insurance Estimate they wrote for New parts. When I got my car back it was still damaged. Deans shop tried to fix the parts & pocket the extra money. This sounds like insurance fraud! I am looking into several legal things with Allied Auto Repair located on E Washington St across from L.A.Fitness. Whats crazy is him & his wife actually had the nerve to have smart things to say because I was mad! Like Really!! Whats even Crazier is when I called the police, they told me that they are always up there & the car rental company told me, Its about time someone stood up to him. He is NOT to be trusted!!! BEWARE ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE!!!! BEWARE
Dean and his crew did a wonderful job on the car. They will take good care of you.
I took my car to this shop and I can only say. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN DEAN ALLEN IN any way. My bumper is different color, he took 2 weeks to do a job that look horrendous and on top of that I trusted this meb to return my rental car and he had to a stolen car report on him.
Great service, friendly and ready to help. Worked on my truck right away and 1 hour later was back to New. God bless these young men.
I advise you to not deal with DEAN ALLEN. He is the owner of this facility and plays a good roll at first when you meet him. I unfortunately was involved in a hail storm on May the 4th. A month before that I was involved in a hit and run and left with the damages to fix myself. I had a mismatched fender and bumper painted by Maaco that they really screwed up. I took this opportunity to fix both issues at once. Now as far as the PDR goes.. it looks great, except for tool damages and marks on parts of my vehicle (door jams and the back of the trunk lid looks hideous now.) They even tried to dress up my engine bay which was flawless as is, and now completely needs redone from soapy residue left behind. THEY OVER PROMISE AND UNDER DELIVER. I was promised after they filed a supplement and to get my business that they would take care of the paint INCLUDING blending the dog house. Now I am very ANAL about my vehicle and know where any and all blemishes are on my car. DEAN ALLEN lied straight to my face upon pickup and called me a liar of me knowing where rock chips were located on my hood and fender. If they so called blended everything.. those rock chips would not be present (although painted better than Maaco, it still does not match the rest of my vehicle like I was promised). He tried to tell me on a 30 mile trip back to their garage that I accumulated over 25 rock chips. I kindly told him that was not the case and after the 5th time he blew up, started throwing a 3 year old tantrum and stormed off into his motor home which is his base of operations. He spoke down to me, cursed at me, and by doing a little research this isnt the first time he has acted out like this to a customer. Like I said, as far as the PDR goes, great. But he even told me a buff and wax over the whole vehicle.. which didnt happen. After I was able to leave (AFTER DEAN ALLEN BLOCKED MY CAR IN SO I COULDNT MOVE) I went to wash my vehicle because I guess it was part of the deal but they didnt do it anyways. Besides that fact no other panel beaded water besides the bumper and fender.. which tells me there is no new paint on the opposite fender or hood which I was promised would be blended. He has very bad communication skills and as a business owner is a failure in my book. Please save yourself the hassle of dealing with DEAN ALLEN unless you are really set on cheaping out and giving this guy your hard earned inusrance money. Also for the adjusters he is overpricing and stealing from insurance companies. There is no reason a convertible vehicle should total up to 3,800 dollars for hail repair. Every shop I went to before that was around 2,000-2,800. Insurance adjusters beware and customers do not interact with DEAN ALLEN unless you want a 3 year old handling your business.
